From the moment Octopus took over Virgin Money, the process of access and communications has been rock bottom

If you live overseas without a UK mobile number, you are shafted. Email CS - call us - umm 7 hours time difference plus costly call fees to sit on hold? No Thanks. Eventually they promised to call me - which they did eventually at 3 am while I was asleep and missed the call.

Nect, buy a viritual UK mobile number (not too bad per year - but still a cast) - signed in, accessed the account then signed out

Tried to sign in 3/4 hours later and blocked - we need to check some information - please call the UK...... oh dear.

Customer service is dire at best. Emails asking for feedback on how they did? pass.

The people I have dealt with at Octopus have been responsive, easy to talk to and clear to understand. After being hopelessly mismanaged by Virgin Money my pension fund was transferred to Octopus money. Unfotunately they appear to be equally incompetent. The fund has dropped £12,000 in a month! Who would have thought that a war would result in stocks falling - not this lot obviously.
