Awesome service from the very first interaction. From the initial specification tool on the website to the numerous calls as my requirements changed, all the way through to the final support call as I flicked the switch, Nohma listened to what I needed and went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and confident with my install. From someone with limited electrical experience, the system guidance and wiring diagrams led me to an install that I’m proud of and worked first time!! I’d definitely recommend Nohma to anyone looking for help with their off grid electrical set up.

Had a great engineer (shout out to Sam!) from the start. Sam was a great help and super easy to talk to. He was knowledgable, professional and really took the friction out of the whole process. 10/10 would recommend.

While researching how to set up the power supply for my van conversion to a camper, I quickly realised just how overwhelming campervan electrics can be. I needed a safe and reliable 12v system to run lights, fridge and other essentials, charged in three ways: via the alternator, solar array and 230v hook-up.

Between watching countless YouTube videos and trying to piece together shopping lists from different opinions online, the whole process became tiring and very time-consuming. Everyone’s setup is different, and it was hard to know what I genuinely *needed* versus what was overkill. Safety was also a big concern, so the idea of having proper expert support was really important to me.

After skimming around the web, I decided to take the plunge with **Nohma**, who offer free initial design and advice through their website. Almost immediately, it became clear that I didn’t actually need as much equipment as I had originally thought. That alone saved time, money, and a lot of uncertainty. What really stood out was the peace of mind—knowing that everything required (apart from the physical fitting) would be correctly specified and supplied.

Nohma provide *everything*: equipment, cables, clips, fuses, and clear step-by-step instructions and diagrams. On top of that, there’s ongoing support available from their engineering team if you need advice during installation—or even further down the line if issues crop up.

I personally worked with **Will Brown**, an off-grid engineer at Nohma, to discuss my actual power needs. Will was brilliant—knowledgeable, approachable, and very clear when explaining both the equipment choices and the science behind how the system works. He tailored the design to suit my needs and budget, while still allowing for future expansion. He was even available for a phone call to go through the finer details, which was extremely helpful and reassuring.

As an added bonus, Nohma also price-match equipment if you find it cheaper elsewhere.

It now remains for me to follow the diagrams/instructions and complete the fitment 🤞
I can honestly say so far that Nohma has removed a huge amount of stress from what could be a very confusing part of the camper conversion. If you value safety, clarity, expert advice and proper aftercare, I’d highly recommend them.

I was a total electrical noob before starting this project - had never even used a multimeter before. Saved days of planning and lots of thinking by having everything worked out by Nohma. It's possibly slightly more expensive than sourcing all the cables etc yourself, but still competitive with price matching for the main components and worth it many times over for the time savings and knowledge that it's all correct.

Installation was a breeze with the wiring diagram and Huey's rapid email support. Everyone I spoke with was super friendly and helpful too. Overall top top service, couldn't recommend more.

Honestly I’m super capable carpenter and general handy person but I was so nervous about the electrics. Spent weeks studying before hand but then saw these guys and so pleased I did. I can’t recommend enough. Huey the engineer is amazing and the whole team made everything easy for me. Living in my van now for 2 months and never needed to use a hook up. Love Nohma.. 😊😊❤️❤️

From the very first contact through to final commissioning, I cannot fault any of the staff involved.

The system was designed (by Dan) around my specific needs and came with comprehensive, step-by-step installation instructions, including guidance on lug, cable, and fuse sizing. It made the whole process as straightforward as it could possibly be.

Naturally, questions come up or you need a bit of clarity along the way, but the answers were never far away. I was particularly nervous about flicking the switch to bring the system online, but Huey even made that painless. He guided me through the process with confidence, expertly troubleshooting the inevitable small glitch.

Absolutely brilliant service and communications from Nohma. It's a daunting task figuring out (in my case) a large 24v electrical system for a truck conversion. I honestly don't think I could have planned and exucted it without their expertise, knowledge and patience. Always there if there was a problem. Always really helpful and polite. I would seriously consider them if you're at all unsure about how to go about your off grid DC system. Highly recommended without any reservation. Would like to thank all the team especially Will, Lucy and the Tech guy who helped with my crossed wires via Google meet (sorry can't remember your name!); We're now up and running in our beast and living the dream. Fantastic and supportive process from first enquiry to final order. Will, the Nohma engineer, was very knowledgeable promptly replying with detailed emails including supporting diagrams. I'm an engineer so probably asked too many technical questions but all were clearly explained helping me to come to an informed decision. Following discussions and in-depth advice, Will was more than happy to 'tweak' the quote a couple of times to refine the build and ensure all my needs were meet but hopefully this will have pre-empted any possibly future problems.

I did check the prices against other campervan electrical system sellers and the final quote was very competitive even if you disregard all the design support given; I'm sure the install documents will be equally clear and detailed.

Absolutely a 5 star service. Unlike other companies, the team answered every question in detail before I committed to a purchase, understanding my needs and so knowledgeable. Often you find that once you’ve made a purchase the company don’t want to know you, but Nohma were amazing throughout my build. Every query was answered quickly and in detail, and if it couldn’t be explained via a message, a video call was easy to schedule. It was even recommended that I call about a week after I finished my install to check everything was running ok, and answer questions about the use ability, which was gratefully accepted.
So professional, I’m so pleased I went with Nohma.

The system was sized to meet the demands of my appliances and was detailed to a level that was easy to understand. Ultimately, I chose a different option from the one proposed by Nohma, but this was in no way a reflection on their proposal or responsiveness. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

After ordering book and nothing coming through for week eventually got call and issue was rectified. Still unsure why my decades old email didn’t work but they offered to update to another one and worked fine.

Very happy with the quality of service from Nohma. Received very good support from Dan Spencer who produced a detailed breakdown of the proposed system and explained the rationale for choosing a 24V system (as opposed to the more conventional 12V system) due to the fact that we were going for full electric with induction hob etc. Goods all arrived well packaged along with the bespoke installation guide. The guide was clear and straightforward to follow. All in all excellent service and it is good to know that we can call on Nohma for any support or advice that we may need going forward.
