This was my second go round with SSC. My first experience was amazing learning the techniques that Nicki taught. I immediately wanted to go into the consulting but wasn't at the right time as I was traveling between two states and 2 salons. I knew that when I made the decision to stay in one state I would pull the trigger. I did it in May 2024 and went full blast with both consulting and the slice strands. Being certified in other extension brands I hurt when I did them so I kept them as a back pocket type of thing. Learning the slice strands method is definitely a game changer for this old gal. Also the consulting was soooo necessary for me as when I started 30 some odd years ago social media didn't exist. Back then it was smile, hand out your card, a bag full of samples, and beg for referrals one on one. Now it's understanding a whole new world of FB and Instagram and algorithms and who to talk to and when, not be invasive, but get their attention, etc. I was literally like I have to do what? To who? For how many cookies? To get some to look at a page to get a client?!? I had no clue. Stephanie helped me create things in my social media that I never had before. Clean up the messes that I thought were great that actually just caused confusion. Helped me with my booking system and services to make quality and easy bookings for clients but increase my income. Whereas before I was struggling to get anyone to even look at my model calls or book an appt with me. Adriana helped me talked to people through messaging without feeling like I was olan mills cold calling the old lady in a phone book and being rudely hung up on. Just the confidence these ladies gave me to not feel out of place in a youthful world that I didn't think I fit in anymore. Now I'm feeling back in the game and working towards full books again! Thank you so much!

If I knew about this sooner, I would've sold a kidney if I had to. This has literally changed my entire life from complete poverty to looking at six figures now. Stephanie B has been my consultant match for my journey and comparably, I couldn't have found a more compatible match on eHarmony, ha. Every step, every answered question, every piece of knowledge is right there along with you. And it's not just one person, you have an ENTIRE freaking team of incredible, uniquely talented humans coming from all spectrums necessary to make your dream goal come true. Hands down, this is the place you need to be, the people you need to hire, the peace and security that you need to have and then sit back (not really, you gotta be active here to make it work for the most amazing results!), do the work with them and you'll never, ever believe how quickly your business will grow. I was baffled even after my first week. DO IT AFRAID. Worth every single penny and I'll gladly hire them again in the future if I have to. Plus, everyone from SSC feel like family now.

I signed up for the consulting when they launched slice strands extensions. I originally was planning on only doing the extension certification, but once I interviewed I realized I needed a little more assistance than I originally thought.

I ended up doing 2 rounds of consulting and had the pleasure of working with 2 amazing coaches Kayla S. And Randi T. The first 90 days I feel like really helped me to get organized in my business and start to lay out some better ground rules, simplify my service menu and adjust my prices. The second 90 days I feel like gave me more of the confidence to really apply everything and start pushing myself with marketing and targeting my ideal clientele.

I also can’t say enough about Alyssa and Slice Strands. It has changed the game with my extension clients and given me the time freedom to actually be able to fit more of them into my schedule! I also received more guidance in how to market a higher ticket service than I did with any of my previous certifications.

Now I’m making more money each week then I was before and my schedule is always busy and when it’s not I know exactly what to do to bring new clients in when needed!

At first, I was extremely stressed out about the price point of this investment, but I am confident that I will make my money back in no time. Randi was my mentor and she was amazing. Definitely listened to what my goals where and gave me action steps to make them come true! I am working less hours and making more money already and now know what I need to do to continue to grow. The amount of lessons and classes is definitely overwhelming (in a good way) and feel like any question I had could be answered for me. Definitely would recommend Slice to anyone wanting to upgrade their business!

I have been doing hair over 10 years and I have just felt stuck and overwhelmed wanting to grow but not sure how, I watched Nikki on instagram and just loved everything about her so when I looked into the program and had my consultation call I knew this is what I needed! Her dedication, expertise, and amazing support were crucial in my growth as a hairstylist within the past year. After implementing the time saving techniques and making changes to my services I am proud to say I hit my service sales goals in two days rather than in the four days I used to work!! Every time I had a roadblock Adriana helped me find a solution and helped me prepare for my comeback after maternity leave. Best decision I have ever made. My business has grown exponentially and My coach KAYLA is the bomb!!! I really enjoyed our personal calls and feel like I have gained more than just a mentor but a friend in the industry we shared a lot of very personal moments and when I wanted to give up, Kayla kept me going. I have been a part of the SSC program for six months now & I am very happy with my experience. I would say the most valuable part of this program is the people & the community they’ve created. My consultant, Randi, couldn’t have been better. She was diligent with her work & really took the time to know me & understand my business’ needs. I traveled to Colorado this spring & Jackie went out of her way to meet up with me while I was there. She likely has no idea how much her willingness to give me her time & talk meant to me. I really cannot say enough good things. While my time is over for now, I can’t wait to watch these ladies carve a path in our industry to improve the lives of everyone they touch ♥️

When I started with SSC 90 days ago, I came in thinking that this was going to be just like any other education I had taken before. I wanted to be right, My ego, walls, and defense mechanisms were on high alert, after coming out of a toxic salon situation.

I was at a breaking point. I love the hair industry but felt I needed more, and could not put my finger on it. My experience has been nothing short of astonishing. I turned my entire business over to my amazing coach Tia, who is a wealth of resources and has helped me stream line my once chaotic mess, into a smoother business.

Having classes available three times a week that focuses on becoming a speed queen with faster techniques, business mindsets, and anything else you can imagine is knowledge that you can not put a price tag on. By the end of my 90 days my weekly income increased by 111%

I work less, my clients are enjoying being in the salon for less time too, and I have support from a group of amazing humans 24/7

The ONE regret I have is not starting this sooner. SSC wasn't a game changer for me.... it is a life saver.

I ended up doing business consulting and slice strands extensions at the same time. I am an independent suite owner, so I felt as though it was crucial for myself and my business- the accountability was amazing. My coach Andrea was nothing but kind and knowledgeable during the amazing process with anything that I needed. She gave me the tools And guided me. Obviously, it’s up to you how quick you want to move in the program, but life, changing techniques, and information I will utilize forever behind the chair.

I have absolutely loved my time with SSC and my consultant Andrea and I were a perfect match! I just went independent into a salon suite less than 6 months ago and was struggling with my new role as an entrepreneur. I kept seeing Nicki’s videos on instagram and knew I needed a change! This programme is not for the faint of heart. There will be tears of joy, tears of despair. But to thrive in this industry today, you need to completely flip everything on its head.

Adriana is the BEST!!! I have done 2 intensives with SSC and I have loved everyone I’ve worked with, but something about working with Adriana REALLY catapulted my mindset and my income. When we began working together, I was facing some mental road blocks regarding the structure of my business and she really helped me get down to the bottom of the issues I was having and how to work through them. I also think it’s important to note, I have ADHD, and she really was able to understand me on another level and coach me to what works for my brain. I loved that and needed that badly.. I do have a small note of feedback, though. The program's intensity, with its abundance of content over 90 days, can feel a bit overwhelming, like being swept away by a tide of information. A more succinct, detailed roadmap early on would help focus the journey, ensuring every step is as enriching as possible. This already exists in the program, but could be relied upon more heavily.

In essence, Slice Squad Consulting feels like a vibrant community and a powerhouse of knowledge. A touch more curation could polish its already impressive offerings. Diving into SSC means you're always engaged, always learning, and never alone on your professional path.

I think that the experience was overall extremely helpful. It was at the very beginning of my career that I knew I needed help and this was just the place to do. These amazing people of slice squad we one of my best support systems. And could have asked for a more enlightened experience that what I had.
