After a rather sizable investment, I am deeply disappointed
I spent approximately $145 with Nature’s Good Guys to treat a whitefly infestation on three hibiscus trees. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.
Aside from the ladybugs, many of the beneficial insects appeared dead when they arrived, and the others that were supposed to emerge never seemed to do so. I followed the application instructions and waited several weeks before contacting the company because I wanted to give the insects time to establish themselves. I saw no noticeable improvement in the infestation. Also, the praying mantis they included never hatched, despite following their instructions on placement and temperature in my home.
What disappointed me most was the customer service. Their follow-up email says to contact them immediately if you have any problems because they want you to be satisfied. When I reached out, I explained that many of the insects appeared dead and that I had seen no results after several weeks. Rather than addressing my concerns or discussing whether the shipment might have been compromised, I was simply told that active infestations require predator releases every two weeks.
I responded to clarify that my concern wasn’t whether multiple releases might be necessary—it was whether the insects I purchased were viable in the first place. I also asked how they stand behind their product's. That email received no response.
I understand that biological pest control isn’t guaranteed and that results can vary. I wasn’t expecting miracles. I was expecting a company that advertises customer support to investigate a legitimate concern and stand behind a $145 purchase.
Based on both the product performance and the lack of meaningful customer service, I cannot recommend Nature’s Good Guys.
