Lance and Simon fitted our stone work top today. they arrived on time and were very friendly and made a truly excellent job of fitting the work top. they were a joy to have on the job, checked everything and cleaned down the work area and left everything tidy and even re-grouted the original other worktops. First time moving to stone surfaces in my kitchen, didn’t know what to expect, found out NSS were contracted to the supplier, templating etc were all a worry.
Worry not, the service and quality are absolutely 5 stars and then more, communications and dealings with the booking team were great (how things should be done). The templating was an experiance to watch and carried out by the most professional and great guy, worktops were done and ready to be fitted within a week, fantastic turnaround.
Then the fitting team, don’t know where to start but wherever you got these guys from you are fortunate to have such able and amicable employees, absolute top drawer and very professional- Credit to all at NSS- Brilliant

Stunning Quartz Worktop
We have just had our quartz worktop fitted. Thoroughly professional from start to finish. From communication to dealing face to face I cannot recommend more. The finished product looks stunning. Do not under any circumstances use this company!! The product itself is admittedly stunning however the quality of the fit is frankly a disgrace. We have been left with joints that are not fix for purpose will almost no seal. One joint where the splashback meets was simply not installed and rather than recognising and fixing this they are wanting £140+ vat to come out and fix their own mistake. After a week we have multiple issue with silicone (for all there is) cracking and pulling away. Near 5 figures for worktops and the quality of install and customer service is a JOKE. please please please buy Dekton elsewhere as plenty of options!!!

Following your concerns, we carefully reviewed the installation, including the photographs taken at the time of completion. Our installation photographs, which were shared with you, clearly show that the worktops and splashback were fitted correctly and fully siliconed at the time of completion, in accordance with industry standards.
Based on the issues described, and photographs provided by yourself, it is evident that further work has taken place after our installation and potentially before the sealants had sufficient time to cure. Any disturbance during this period will compromise the silicone and joints, which is consistent with what has been reported.
We always aim to deliver both high-quality products and installations, and we take any concerns seriously. The call-out charge referenced was in relation to a return visit outside of installation liability, we stand by the quality of both our product and our workmanship. However, we remain willing to discuss the situation directly should you wish to resolve matters constructively.

We recently had our quartz worktop…
We recently had our quartz worktop installed and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, the team were reliable, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. They took the time to answer all of our questions and clearly knew their craft inside out, which gave us complete confidence throughout the process.
The installation was carried out professionally and with great attention to detail, and everything was completed exactly when promised. The team were also friendly and respectful in our home, leaving everything clean and tidy afterwards.
The finished result looks fantastic and has completely transformed our kitchen. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a quartz worktop — excellent service and quality all round.

Natural Stone Surfaces kept us updated regularly before fitting, phoned the day before and on the day, to check everything ok. The installing team were very friendly lads. It all fitted perfectly, apart from a hole that was literally 1mm too tight in diameter, which we managed to correct ourselves on site. Have used them before and will continue to use them.

Our experience was extremely positive.
The men that were due to deliver the worktop had a puncture the afternoon before and had to start later , we were informed by text very late which was very kind of the company. We were not left wondering where the team were .
The men that delivered and installed the worktop were excellent. They had not got home the night before until extremely late but they were extremely professional, knowledgeable.
The join has been admired by our kitchen fitter and family it was excellent.

Bad experience
The process started off as a bit of a nightmare. I ordered a kitchen through Wickes, with NSS subcontracted to template and fit the quartz worktops.
The first NSS visit was extremely disappointing. The fitter was at my house for less than five minutes, didn’t properly check anything, and appeared unsure about the job. I was at work at the time and had arranged for someone else to be present, which made the wasted visit even more frustrating.
When I raised this, I was passed between NSS and Wickes, and despite agreeing the visit hadn’t been acceptable, I was told I would need to pay £250 for another templating visit. With my partner being heavily pregnant and delays already mounting, I paid so the job could move forward.
The second templater was completely different — professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. The installation team then fitted the worktops, and the final result looks excellent.
While I’m very happy with the finished worktops, the initial service and extra cost caused unnecessary stress.

Great service
Despite being so close to Christmas the company worked their magic and templated and fitted it in time. The fitters were helpful, cheerful and so good at their job. The templates were great and even the ceramic sink no one thought would fit slotted in like a dream. Alex in the office was exemplary and kept me informed. Great service.

Timely appointment and friendly helpful installers
Firstly, I had to defer the fitting of the worktop due to ongoing issues with the kitchen installation. This was not a problem and they allowed me to re-arrange with minimal effort.
The installers arrived within the timeframe they had stated and the guys that showed up were approachable and easy to talk with.
I was working from home that day and was a bit concerned about noise, but I needn't have been.
They worked quietly and I could barely hear them next door, even with the doors open.
They even did a little cut-out to the wood frame of the sink cabinet to allow fitting of the sink at the requested placement.
It was over and done in about 45 minutes and the outcome of the worktops is exactly as I envisioned. An excellent company with great, approachable people.

Lazy cowboys
Lazy cowboys. Left me with more issues than solutions. Fitting pre template worktops is about as simple as a job can be, but despite that the three contractors they sent me were more interested in getting the job done in 15 minutes so they could sit in the van for an hour before asking if I was happy! Safe to say I did not sign the worksheet and advised them to clear off. Avoid this company.

Thank you for raising your concerns. We have discussed the matter internally with both the fitting team and the templater to fully understand the situation.
With regard to the installation, the lead fitter has advised that the tap fitting was not requested until after the stone had already been installed. At that point, the team were waiting in the van for the adhesive to fully cure, which took approximately an hour. When asked to fit the tap, the fitter explained that this was not possible once the stone had been installed and apologised to you at the time.
Regarding the templating visit, our templater experienced difficulty locating the address and was unable to reach you by phone initially. When he arrived, there were level issues identified around the sink area.
During later discussions, it became apparent that you had understood your furniture supplier to be the fabricator rather than working with us, and we appreciate this caused some frustration. We also understand your disappointment at needing to adjust the sink unit following installation to accommodate the tap hole.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Please let us know if you would like to discuss this further by contacting us directly.
