Booked a brilliant 2 week holiday in Belize with Karen Smith and the team at Naturally Belize.
Karen listened well to what we were looking for and then came up with recommended itineraries, which we then talked through to get to the perfect plan.
Stayed at Laminaai Outpost Lodge which was superb. Comfortable accommodation, outstanding freshly prepared food and our own personal guide for 3 days of trips around Mayan ruins, freshwater lake, jungle and more. Peaceful and serene, a lovely start with the hour or so each way by speedboat adding to the adventure.
Moved on to Caves Branch Lodge, where the action really cranked up!! Tubing through underground caves, climbing a waterfall system entirely in one cave system, and a 350foot 'Black Hole' abseil. Plus horse riding. Great adventures, outstanding safe and knowledgeable guides. Food ok, but romantic candlelit white tablecloth lunches deep underground in the caves were a highlight each day.
One not on accommodation, which is fantastic, the site is VERY steep so ask for a lower level room if concerned.
Final destination near San Pedro at Xanadu Island Resort, after a short 'hop' out to Ambergris Caye. Great location and amazing staff. Lovely 10 minute walk into town centre along beach. Went for the Scuba diving and it was brilliant. Great guides, really well organised and spectacular fish, sharks, rays and even Manatee. Just so special.
Flew in/out of Belize via New York, and well worth 3 days stopover beforehand to see city highlights.

Naturally Belize…What a trip of a lifetime Nicola and Karen put together for our family of 5. They created an amazing bespoke itinerary packed full of adventure and activities for 2 adults and 3 teenage boys.
They are hugely knowledgeable about Belize, so we had great confidence in the the planning of the trip that it covered all of the highlights that we wanted to see and do.
The organisation of plane trips, boat journeys and road trips was absolutely seamless, the accommodation was perfect from jungle lodges to beachside hotels and exciting activities. All of the owners and local guides at lodges also spoke very fondly of Naturally Belize.
Do not hesitate in booking a trip to this beautiful diverse country with Nicola and Karen…it is ‘ unbeleezable’how incredible a trip they will create for you.

We had a fantastic time in Belize in February, organised by Naturally Belize. With Covid making finalising plans difficult, Naturally Belize were really accommodating & assisted with some late changes to our itinerary. Originally they had offered several itineraries for us to choose from & different accommodation options. The accommodation was excellent throughout & everything ran very smoothly once in Belize

When you book a holiday, your two main concerns are - will the holiday live up to my expectations and what happens if I can't go or have a problem? Unfortunately I can't answer the first question, as due to personal circumstances I was unable to go. With regard to the second question, Karen was absolutely brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful. She kept in touch and resolved everything for me.

Karen created us the most perfect trip to Belize! Everything went like clockwork with all the transfers and flights. The hotels were all first class and we loved everything about it. We saw and did so much but nothing was rushed and we certainly plan to return in a couple of year's time. Belize is an amazing destination and not crowded or over developed. Thank you so much for your amazing organisation - we really appreciated it.

During the last two years of the pandemic our contact at the company has done everything possible to manage changes to flight schedules, accommodation etc so that we could still go on the planned trip from 2020. Unfortunately our family circumstances in 2022 meant we could not now take the holiday as first planned. The company were extremely supportive and worked tirelessly to secure a full refund for the trip. My family and I are extremely grateful for all the effort that they had made on our behalf. When we can fly long-haul again then we still plan to go to Belize and we will come straight back to this company to make those arrangements. We cannot thank them enough for the approach they took in difficult circumstances - a big thank you!

Rejiggled several times during the Pandemic when we could not travel with no problem. great service and a good itinerary doing all we asked for. sent me a WhatsApp link and they were very good at helping with early check in and late check out when we had a problem. very pleased with the service, could not have been better, made it a good holiday. many thanks and would not hesitate to use them again

We couldn't have been happier with Karen's approach to the whole holiday - from initial exploration of itinerary, the booking and re-booking of the trip and support throughout our holiday. Karen was absolutely delightful to deal with throughout with clever touches like posting bird/wildlife guides as part of the pre-trip pack and a very helpful pre-trip call.
