Awful. Been on holiday abroad and came home and paid for two tickets on the Saturday night draw. Email says I’ve won a prize, great. Claim Prize hit the button. The message now says I’m not in the UK, yet I bought the ticket 24 hrs previously with no issue in the UK where I still am. Advice contact ISP and it may take several weeks to resolve, come on that’s just a scam to keep my cash. Dreadful, this is the last draw I will participate in. You’ve had my cash and don’t want to sort the prize. For goodness sake what a disaster.

I like many others have played the lottery since the start, this new format is a total joke and an insult to peoples intelligence, to say they are doing it to give people more chances of winning is a total insult, all they are doing is trying to make more money for themselves, I would rather keep the old format and can honestly say I will not be playing the lottery in this format again.

I woke up this morning to find an email telling me I had won a small prize. I assumed it was a free lucky dip but nope, it was £1 for 2 numbers. After playing the lottery ever since it started, I will not be playing it again, it's now a total RIPOFF. As others have pointed out, the smaller prizes have been substantially reduced and given the huge odds against winning anything it really isn't worth bothering any more. Corporate greed will lead to huge losses and it will serve them right.

Horrible changes. As someone who buys lottery tickets religiously I was so disappointed. Two numbers wins a pound! Three numbers £10 from £30. Disgraceful.
Totally put me off and I won't be buying from now on.

If we hadn’t done the same numbers from the start we would stop playing we always brought extra tickets on a rollover had to be won not any more

In all honesty I have always struggled with the National Lottery app as it was never perfect.

Small niggles such as the purchase date being identified rather than the draw date can cause confusion but since Camelot were replaced, it’s gotten steadily worse.

And today, I found out that to claim a cash prize of £2, you can’t claim it on the app, no that would be too simple, you have to come out of the app and login to the National Lottery website!

Why? Why can’t you claim any prize on your app?

For the sake of £2, just you keep it, I’ll definitely never give this horrendous company anymore money.

What a shambles this has turned into. Maybe heed the saying “if ain’t broken, don’t fix it “

You get twice the chance to win a third- this is a trick by the devil himself. They just killed the UK National Lottery.

A Total rip off, bring back our original game format, won’t be playing this ever again after 32 years

Who designed this new website? Was it AI? Who tested the design? Awful interface and customer experience. Takes me 10 minutes to find my tickets and see what I’ve won after I get a win alert email.

The new lotto lower tier prize amounts are now disgusting. £1.00 for 2 numbers, £10.00 for 3 numbers, £50 for 4 numbers plus hotpick prizes half of what they were before. After 32 years of playing this could be it for me.

If I could give no stars I would this new system is a joke they make more money and give us even less I for one and going to no longer play

I am absolutely appalled by the new National Lottery changes. How stupid do Allwyn think the public are? For 3 numbers you win £10 instead of £30 for 4 numbers you will now win £50 instead of £140 and for 5 numbers you will now win £1,000 instead of £1,750. I actually made a phone call to Lottery HQ in Watford and their only defence was, but your now being entered into 2 x draws, I replied with, if I get 3 x balls on each of the two draws I only win £20 and not £60 as I did before and this is the same with the changes to 4 x balls and 5 x balls with an even bigger loss. Under the old rules 2 x balls would get you a free lucky dip under the new rules you now get £1 back, this is equivalent to just half a ticket… whoop, whoop!
When the lottery first started back in 1994 you paid £1 a ticket and the prize for 3 x balls was then a £10. Camalot who were running it at the time, changed the price of a ticket to £2, but to keep the players happy they increased the 3-ball win to £30 - unfortunately, Allwyn have now taken things backwards Their reduction in prize monies is nothing more than a rip-off. At first, I thought it was just the Lotto that had been affected, but I have now had it pointed out to me that Allwyn have also reduced the Lotto hot picks game. The prize money for matching 3 x balls used to give you £800, this has now been very sneakily reduced to £400. This lottery changes are now quite clearly stacked in favour for Allwyn to fill their pockets even deeper. What ever happened to the People's Lottery? Its absolutely disgusting.

You need to listen to the players and scrap this double draw, go back to the old prize monies as you are set to lose millions of players, and this will cost you ten’s of millions in losses. Everyone makes mistakes, the players will forgive you if you just man up and apologise that you have made a huge Mistake.

The new national lottery is a total Rip Off it’s rubbish nobody will play it’s the end for the national lottery unless they reduce the playing fee to £1 a ticket if they don’t that’s it goodbye national lottery this new version is a total Rip Off it’s terrible

The new lottery app is hopeless. Please bring back the old app it was so easy to use.

If you consider the odds, you are likely to get three numbers up in half the time you were when there was only one draw, however the prize money is one third of what it was before.
In the original system you won £10 for three numbers, people complained that the lower prizes were not enough so they increased it to £30 for three numbers, now they have gone backwards.
As for getting two numbers and winning £1, it’s not even enough to buy another ticket, not sure if I will both playing the lottery again unless they revert back to the old system, I am sure the new system has been introduced to make more profit for the company running it.

Won’t be playing again until they sort this out absolutely ridiculous halving the prize money on prizes
