I took this course as a requirement for nursing school and was very pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed it immensely! I am a parent of twins, and I had them look at some of the topics with me. The course held my children's interest for quite a long time as well because they wanted to see what kind of care was recommended for them, and it was extremely valuable to see and compare different styles of behavior corrections and show them that consequences are for learning, not punishment. It ended up being a great jumping-off point for discussions on what quality family time actually looks like, how organizing our home can reduce stress for the whole family, and how to handle big feelings together. I felt that it was important to let my kids see that everyone is constantly learning how to be a person, including parents. Each topic is easy to understand, and none of them felt judgmental or critical of the issues that families face. I would highly recommend this course to each and every parent and caregiver! As a nurse, I will be caring for many different families, and I will definitely be referring back to this course for information on how to counsel my patients and to help guide them in their own parenting journey!

I had so many questions. However, Cynthia was patient, kind, and very knowledgeable. She answered every question I had and furthermore sent me links to get enrolled. I believe Cynthia needs a raise and a promotion.

This company is fantastic. I made an error picked the wrong course. They refunded my money instantly and they got back to me instantly on the text chat within three minutes my money was refunded back to me and it’s an error that I made, and of course itself was very good. I reached out to NALI with a simple question: their site mentions a “take now, pay later” option for courses, but I couldn’t find where to actually do that online. I sent an email expecting, at best, a response in a day or two.

I receive more knowledge on various legal/court family resolution affair process to help my family, friends and community in the court and resolution procedure such complex and non- complex divorce mediation process. Those are added on to criminal, litigation ..........

I recognize that all the information in this program is well done without any filters and straight to the point. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to understand addiction and all the substances that can lead to an unhealthy life

I had an outstanding and unique experience taking this courses. The courses are very explanatory, easy to understand and evidence based information. The babysitting course even includes a wallet certificate which is nice. I would definitely recommend this course to anybody looking to expand their knowledge on this topics or be a first time learner. 10/10

The course was good and my judge approved the certificate no problems.

I took the HIPAA training. If your goal is to get a certificate, this fills the bill: they send you a beautiful one, in full color, with gold trim. If your goal is to learn something, not so much. Most webinars I’ve taken from other companies break the material down, explain it, interpret, highlight important issues, and give relevant examples; in other words, they teach. NALI, in contrast, just provides huge, indigestible pages of text, mostly reproducing verbatim the text of the law. I could have googled the law and learned as much (and as little), I’ve never seen anything like this. A disappointment.

I took the 4-hour Anger Management class with North American Learning and found it extremely helpful. The class included practical information, quick exercises, and worksheets that made it easy to apply the concepts. I believe this course will be a huge help for me moving forward. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to better manage anger or shift their thinking in tough situations. Rather you need this class or not, I recommend taking it.

Not Accepted by Probation Officer – Ridiculous Refund Policy

I didn’t even take the course, and this company still made it hard to get a refund.

I signed up thinking it would meet a requirement from my probation officer. Before starting, I asked my PO if North American Learning Institute was acceptable. They told me no—it’s not on their list and they don’t recommend it.

When I contacted NALI for a refund under their “100% money-back guarantee,” they told me I needed written documentation from my probation officer proving it wasn’t accepted. An email showing my conversation with the officer wasn’t good enough. Like my probation office has time to write a formal letter just so I can get my money back? Seriously?

This is a trap for people trying to do the right thing. They promote this refund policy, but make it nearly impossible to use. If you’re on probation or have court-ordered requirements, don’t waste your time or money here. Ask your PO or court what’s actually accepted before giving NALI a dime.

The customer service team was very helpful and the course was easy to use. Very satisfied and would refer others to this course :)

Totally unprofessional scam site, surprised they are allowed to offer CEUs given how vague, poorly written, and poorly supported the information was, especially about an issue as serious as domestic violence. The first two references were from a website lacking any legitimacy (no research, no names or institutions attached to the site even, advertised celebrity news (inspyr.com)). In one section, the course suggested that getting friends together to tell the abuse victim you all thought she was "just stupid" would be a helpful intervention. Lastly, the material consisted of 139 paragraphs, which took at most 1.5 hours to read, but requires you to review the material for 12 hours to get the certificate. It's insulting to the consumer and, more importantly, does not provide any actually useful information for social workers to address domestic violence. Chat GPT could do a far better job.
