I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience staying at this Airbnb apartment, mainly due to how things were handled during and after my stay.
While the stay itself was manageable, the real issue began before and after I checked out. When collecting the keys from a corner shop of an evening as our flight was delayed, there was boys outside the shop speaking to the person what looked like the owner, in a car doing Nos balloons and burst balloons on the floor outside the shop entrance parralel to their car windows as if they’re just throwing them on the floor? initially after receiving the wrong key to my airbnb after our long flight, having to go back and change the key to the right one was extremely frustrating as having to spend more money on taxi’s and also carry our luggage with us as there was no one/nowhere on site to leave with.
After checking out as we was only there for 1 night to rest before travelling home, (our flights was changed from Luton to Birmingham) I was informed that my deposit would be returned within 5-7 days but I am still yet to receive my money.
Trying to get in touch with the host has been extremely frustrating. Communication has been poor, with slow responses and no clear answers about when or if I will receive my deposit. Each time I followed up, I felt like I was being given vague excuses rather than any real help. No one to take accountability, constantly being put on hold and told this person needs to speak to this person or they’re waiting for this person to update them, feels like purposely trying to ware me thin expecting me to forget it???
I would never recommend staying with this host again & sadly we feel very silly for not checking the reviews before hand, as it’s clear we’re not the only ones to experience this

NOT EVEN WORTH A STAR, didn’t refund a £250 deposit I had sent them due to a blocked toilet? No on site management or any staff at all.
You have to check in to the property and get your keys from a sweet shop 11 minutes away called ‘Pop N Shop’ on Alcester street and the person working there can barely communicate English and also has no idea what property your checking in too until he makes phone calls
No security, front telecoms door broken and often held shut by a street cone, so anyone off the street can access property
1 of 2 neighbours was extremely noisy playing music all night but must admit other side to me was fine no issues
Will never stay again, the remote manager of the property is not trained in customer service nor has any patience to deal with a customer enquiry, when asked why I’m being charged £250 for a blocked toilet he replied ‘how do I know it’s not broken’
Worst booking.com experience I’ve ever had hands down

My Property Host is a disastrous rental company. Completely unprofessional; I absolutely do not recommend. If you tell them something is wrong, they simply ignore it, denying any responsibility. Although it looked clean, when we moved the bed, it was dirty underneath and behind it. The door didn't lock from the inside and could only be secured with the chain. But the worst was when I called to explain a problem with the electricity. While I was explaining the situation in the apartment, a rude female voice snapped at me, "Listen, are you going to listen to me?". I was simply explaining that there was a problem causing the light fuses to blow!. There was a fault that caused the fuses to trip when using the sockets; it was even extremely dangerous to use them. We couldn't even heat water in the kettle during our entire stay. I spoke to someone who stayed in the same apartment a year ago and had the same problem: the electrical fuses were constantly blowing. They haven't fixed it and are still renting it out. Another colleague from my company mentioned having a terrible experience in another apartment from this company due to the poor quality of the bed. They always deny it, don't fix anything, and continue renting it out. A while ago, I stayed in another apartment from this company, and the shower door wouldn't close, so all the water leaked out. The hot water ran out in minutes. It was programmed that way, and if I needed to wash my hair, I had to shower with cold water. I've traveled and stayed in many apartments, and this company is one of the worst. Terrible maintenance and a complete lack of professionalism. Avoid them at all costs.
AVOID - Fined for parking. Unfixed property issues.
Fined twice for parking, despite being explicitly told my number plate would be white-listed, and the title of my rental listing ending "including parking".
Very strange for a new-build flat in Liverpool, the windows wouldn't open with broken handles and there was a leak from ensuite into master bedroom carpet. While a wifi router was visible and on, it was providing no internet access and appeared to be mobile SIM not broadband. Poor cleanliness of glasess etc. Reported all this immediately to host who said he would bring a fan for the heat (not get the window handles fixed?!) and then didn't even do that. Then host stopped replying to messages.
Emailed the company support email address. Got a response back saying someone would be in touch next day - they weren't - and asking me for "documentation" of the issues. Odd experience. No attempt made to resolve issues, despite ample working days to do so.
I stay away every week for work in a huge range of places. These people and this accommodation should be avoided.
Beautiful property in Gravesend
Beautiful property in Gravesend. Great place to stay while working and the property looked brand new. Easy instructions to collect the keys and they even had videos to help with using the kitchen appliances. Close to the train station too. I'll be using these guys again when i'm travelling :)

It was cold and damp and full of mould. The company did nothing!! Ignored emails and messages. They Were rude and unhelpful on the phone. Left early and as they ruined our weekend. AVOID AT ALL COST!!

I had a wonderful stay hosted by these guys. A charming little flat in Ipswich. The building itself wasn’t too inviting but the flat itself made me forget all about that. Well equipped and a very comfortable bed, I almost didn’t want to leave!

Worst place I have ever stayed
Worst place I have ever stayed! The whole building in birmingham is filthy! the inside is just the same. mouldy wall in the bathroom dirt on all the skirting board, ripped lampshades, graffiti in the hallways, manky carpets, luke warm water, broken drawers. other peoples dirty handprints all over the doors ..... had to leave after one night, no refund.... I was told 'cleanliness is subjective' apparently.... I would hate to see the person's house who wrote that!!!! Avoid at all costs - this company are scammers, images of the properties do not match the reality!
Dirty property, no laundry, poor resolution of issues
Booked a 3 bedroom property in South Shields which had sofa bed to accomodate 6 of us with prior communicationtgat we needed beding for sofabed. Arrived Thursday. The place was dirty with litter all over drive. The TV would not work but most importantly 1 bedroom not accessible and no laundry for sofa bed. Called and e mailed mypropertyhist company immediately. 2 of us had to sleep on sofa bed fully clothed. Eventually somebody turned up on Friday late afternoon - couldn't access 3rd bedroom either so with her there i had to shoulder the door to force open. The rep could not get tv to work either and claimed the place was recently cleaned which it was obviously not without any clean bedding for sofabed. She said she would come back to fix TV - she never came back and we left the house a day early. I since have e mailed the company for a partial refund 3 times without any response so had to resort to this in hope it provides action.
Plz watch out
