I would give this company a negative star.
Definitely set up to not pay you. A balance on their website but a zero balance when I try to process through Amazon. Wonder if someone is hacking in to just pay who they want.
Customer service half hour holds. No resolution of any issues.
This is how many sites pay so they do not have to release funds. How is this legal? Where does the money go we cannot obtain?
This is what begets a debt driven, dollar devaluing, inflationary country.
What do you want me to change? I have a "gift card" that does not work. Do not have hours to waste my time on the phone or trying to solve a problem I did not create.
I guess go back to how things were done about 5 years ago. When things worked. I am not the only one complaining. It is your problem. Fix it! No more wasting time!

Just like so many of the reviews here, I received a physical visa gift card in the amount of $300. Activated it on the website and tried to use it on Amazon for the full balance -- declined. Tried again for $50 and it worked once but not in the subsequent attempts (using various different amounts). As reported, it's simply impossible to reach any person, no email address for customer service and the phone has an automated system with no option to reach a person/ report an issue, etc, it's just an endless loop repeating the available balance.
This is super frustrating.

The credit card that I made from the Facebook settlement will not be accepted on Amazon to buy an Amazon eGift card, which is the only way to get a proper full balance clear from prepaid cards.

I had a card for a small amount - and it keeps getting declined.
There was only a phone number for lost cards 844-340-1929- I called it twice and was on the phone for ten minutes total going in circles with the bot while it just regurgitated the information that was already on the website - there was no way to talk to anybody or send a support email. The only option is a physical address to mail correspondence. I guess its so difficult so that people get discouraged from trying to use it.

Contacted them multiple times about how the card kept getting declined and they kept telling me a bunch of stuff about how I wasn’t using it correctly or at the right place, well out of curiosities I checked the balance of the card, turns out it wasn’t working because there was no money on the card, they sent me a used card with the proxy number 6039530422431016416, this is insane

I have been trying to use my card for days now and everytime I sign in the keep making me put the card # in and when I do they always say :Err-4002: Sorry, we can't activate that card. Please try again. If you have already activated your card and created a profile, please log in to view your balance, or if you have received a virtual card, go back to the email you received after the card activation and use the link provided. good thing it was for only 20.00 or I would be on them like flies on shit, so keep your 20.00!!!

Bought a set of General tires in Canada. $50.00 rebate offered. Ok, follow all instructions to the letter and link goes to a blank page when you try and activate the card. Tried several times. Will spend 10 x that in my time trying to get the General $50 rebate I was supposed to receive on a $1000 set of tires. Now it says to contact the customer service. What a world we have created. Just give the customer the $50 bucks off at point of sale. Point is, they count on you giving up and walking away.........Edit: After trying later in the eve the glitch with the link was fixed. I was then able to activate my rebate card. I'm happy that it finally worked but I still believe a point of sale rebate is the genuine way to provide the rebate to the customer without all the hoops to jump through at my old age. Appreciate the help that was provided by all after I posted my 1st review. After thought it's still 1 star because of pain and suffering. Most reviewers have had a similar experience. I suspect my troubles haven't ended when I try and redeem this petty rebate with their card.

Avoid at all cost.
I received a gift card as part of a promotion from large company. The first transaction with the gift card went with no problems and it went all down hill from there. The help page on their website has a contact number that will not route you to any live agent. It is an automated response that does not allow you to select help with consistent declined transactions. After 10, yes 10 calls, I finally started going through different options and put on hold for 40 minutes only for the agent to tell me that they could not help me because it was detecting fraud. How could it detect fraud at a physical store and online merchants? So you can only use the card at your approved vendors?
By the way, the entire call was recorded as proof.
I had a remaining balance of $22.33 left to use and the transaction kept declining for that exact amount. I went onto numerous website and even went into the local sporting goods store to use the $22.33 and it declined at every transaction. This company will go to ends of the earth to with hold customers from using the remaining amount left of their card.
What is more frustrating to is that I found a forum where it shows that after you make a complaint on trust pilot or other websites, they leave a generic message and after the first email they never follow up. I am going to try to find a government agency to help me with this fraud.

PooI have no cell phone and only one e-mail address, so when myprepaidcenter wanted to do a 2 point authentication, I couldn't do it. The verification code either went to my land line or to the email program I was already in. I couldn't have two messages open at the same time. There is no phone number to contact, other than for lost or stolen cards. I was trapped in a circle of "security" verifivation that did nothing but restrict access to the card.
After some seemingly attentive boilerplate responses and the request for more, confidential, information from what appeared to be a second company, I was told there was no issue, even though I still cannot use the card. I haven't been able to speak to a real person, nor has the situation been resolved. The entire experience would have been surreal if not for the fact that such episodes are now too common.
After being told twice that my situation had been resolved, in spite of there being no changes and the situation remaining unresolved, someone finally understood the problem and sent me a physical card. This was after repeated exchangrs via email that were exasperating, as I had to repeat what I had already explained, several times. There is no way that I have found to speak to a live person. Why the company would choose to not provide good customer service and only respond to complaints via a public platform is beyond me.

After I complained not able to buy Amazon Gift Card with this prepaid Visa card. They replied: Different merchants, including Amazon, may have their own restrictions that can affect how prepaid cards are accepted, which can sometimes lead to confusion. Josh R. Myprepaidcenter.com" However, this is not an issue with Amazon or other merchants; the issue is specifically with your card.
I regularly use various debit, credit, and prepaid cards on Amazon without any issues. Your card is the only one that is consistently rejected when attempting this transaction. If your own official Q&A explicitly directs customers to buy a merchant gift card when split-billing isn't supported online, your cards should actually work for that purpose.
Blaming merchant restrictions when your card is the sole outlier does not solve the problem. I look forward to your email so you can look into why your specific cards are failing where others work perfectly.

Registerred the card for the $80 rebate, tried using it a month later, declined because system wanted the exact balance?? Called the number on the back of card, got no where. Went online to check card usage, it quoted four purchases total $160. All the same date, April 28, 2026, all at Target.com7000target or Target.com. I've never used the card! Someone has figured out how to hack this card system. Forget filing a complaint the reviews are as low as possible. Michelin should be ashamed of its association with this rebate system.

I received a notice that I had a virtual prepaid card from a class action lawsuit about a year ago. I activated the card and took a screenshot so I would know the details when I needed to spend it. I just added it as a payment method to my Amazon account and placed an order for just less than the card's balance. Within seconds I was informed that the payment was not valid. I no longer have the email for activation and, when I tried to retrieve the card using its details, on MyPrepaid Center website it told me I could activate the card.
According to their site I should be able to access the card if it is activated but they want the code from the email to do that.
Update: Finally able to get details of my card and they take fees off the balance so that was why Amazon was declined. So much for never expire. Awful website and experience but I was able to spend the reduced balance so only lost a little.
Thanks for contacting me offering to help. There is nothing to do. I have used the balance on the card but felt I had to give my feedback regarding the frustration I had in getting there due to the fact that fees are not shown upfront. When I took a screenshot of the card details I expected to be able to use the balance shown. I'm sure I checked a box confirming I had read the terms and conditions but that was a year earlier. When companies are charging me for a service I expect a clear statement and a note saying the balance will reduce over time due to fees should be on the card details page.
