I chose My Lovely Lawn based on their assurances of a high-quality installation, including what was described as a proprietary drainage system. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.
The lawn and edging was installed in October at a cost of over £2,000. Since then, a number of issues have become apparent: the surface is uneven underfoot, the turf is sparse in places, and most concerning of all, the drainage is significantly worse than before installation—despite this being a key selling point.
On the day of installation, the team indicated they did not have sufficient membrane and used the word “improvise.” I have since found what appears to be non-permeable black material very close to the surface, which raises serious concerns about whether the system installed bears any resemblance to what was sold.
I raised these issues promptly and in detail, including specific questions about the materials used and installation method. These concerns have not been properly addressed, and no meaningful attempt has been made to remedy the situation.
Given the lack of response and refusal to resolve the issues, I am now seeking to recover my costs through the small claims process.
I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution, particularly in relation to claims about drainage systems, and to ensure full clarity on materials and installation methods before committing.

I employed this company to supply and fit an artificial putting green in my back garden. The two guys from this company arrived and removed the old lawn, levelled the ground and then laid a membrane to stop weeds. After that part 1 was laid followed by granite granules this was then vibrated to give a perfect finish,the holes were then fitted and the grass laid and fixed. The guys were extremely professional and I could not be happier with the result. Would definitely recommend this company
