From what we can see, you were looking to travel at very short notice and specifically required a family room. While this is a room type we do offer at this hotel, availability can be limited—particularly for same-day arrivals—and unfortunately, these had sold out for your chosen date. Other dates do have family rooms available, but for that specific night only double rooms remained.
We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially when travelling with a family. The room that was booked through our site was a double room, which would not have been suitable for four guests. We are glad the hotel managed to move reservations around to accommodate your party.
For future bookings, we’d always recommend selecting the correct room type at the time of booking or getting in touch with our team before confirming—we’re more than happy to help check suitable options and availability to ensure the booking meets your needs.

Myhotelbreaks if you can book one!
Myhotelbreak, tells buyers that they have over 100 hotels for £99 deal. But that is not true!
The over 100 hotels is more like 30 as around 70 hotels don't let you book in the summer or there busy time.
All the hotels at all times should and must provide availability, not when they fancy it, also the time you spend finding a hotel and then going in and says not avaliable is outrageous.
I get them as a Christmas presents, but have now just asked for different presents as this company need to sort out the hotels that just cherry pick when they want to give there rooms to Myhotelbreaks.

To clarify, we do partner with over 100 hotels on this voucher alone; however, availability is controlled by the individual hotels and is often more restricted during peak times such as summer or weekends. We recognise that this can make finding suitable dates more difficult, and we are continuing to work closely with our partners to improve this. You can also exchange your voucher on our site for an monetary voucher and put it towards a booking at over 700+ hotels if you prefer.
