Poorly dealt with warranty claim with lots of stalling and delay, finally resolved by Abbas

EDIT: 22/12/25 after the below review, this was actually escalated to someone who would do something. We received both a refund and a replacement kettle which is satisfactory; once we had complained / reviewed on here, it was dealt with very quickly, but it shouldn’t have been this difficult to fulfil a simple warranty request. Thank you to Abbas for getting this sorted for us in the end.

ORIGINAL REVIEW 18/12/25 Absolute pure incompetence. My partner and I bought a pretty fancy Aarke kettle from MyGizzmo that we’d been wanting for ages around 2 years ago; unfortunately, it’s been leaking and not boiling to the correct temperature — well within the warranty period, so we contacted Aarke with the issue and they confirmed we should be sent a replacement which would be issued by MyGizzmo. Fast forward to MANY emails back and forth, 6 weeks later, multiple requests for our address and phone number which has been provided in the emails before, for them to now turn round just after the warranty has ended — due to their own incompetence and delays — to say it’s out of warranty. They are truly, truly useless and dishonest and I would not recommend them - honestly just avoid.

As promised was processed the next day…

As promised was processed the next day and shipped and I received the product the following day. I am very thankful for the discount they offered compared to DJI official site and the payment plan of no intrest installments was just icing on top.

A very happy customer

I ordered on a Sunday and the robot vacuum/mop came on the following Tuesday. That was probably the courier because of where we live. I had checked Trustpilot beforehand to make sure all was legit because I had never heard of MyGizzmo. Reviews were great and I can only agree. Great prices. Very happy. Thank you

Absolutely brilliant company best iv dealt with in my 30 years I have never experienced such high level of customer service and care it’s been astonishing and really refreshing to see a company go to such lengths to satisfy their customers

I bought the Dreame L40 ultra robot vacuum I checked everywhere and Mygizzmo were the cheapest and I didn’t want to buy directly from Dreame as I heard they have terrible customer service so I decided to buy from Mygizzmo instead best decision I made. I placed my order and the following day I queried about the tracking number I thought I would track my parcel as I was excited to receive my vacuum. My vacuum arrived on Monday as promised they also sent me large bottle of the detergent for the vacuum only because I queried the tracking number I couldn’t believe it even though it was a small gesture it meant a lot to me and the packaging was the best iv seen for a product also I received loads of extras with the vaccum that would have cost few £100s if bought separately

I would advise anyone looking for a vacuum to buy one of these you won’t regret it, its built really well & looks really nice and it does a brilliant job after all the research I found the Dreame L40 the best robot vacuum to buy for that price

Then after a few weeks of use I had issue with my vacuum and I emailed Mygizzmo I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Nawal she was brilliant from start to finish I was really impressed of the fact that everything she said they would do they stuck to their word my robot vaccum was picked up by the courier company within a few days and once they received it I literally got email from Nawal with new tracking number she kept me updated throughout the whole process and my new robot vacuum was on the way which I have now received brand new sealed. I’m over the moon as when I returned the vacuum I was gutted I was using the vacuum every couple days and thought the turn around time would be much longer and I would have to fight to get my situation resolved honestly guys Mygizzmo are on some amazon level Customer service you can’t beat them. I dont normally have time to write reviews I’m really busy because of my businesses but I wanted to share my experience as the vacuum wasn’t cheap and it may help you decide you can buy and trust this company without having a to worry about not receiving your item or if you encounter any problems in the future these lot will honour their word

You took my order

You took my order, then refunded my payment, as you didn't have my item in stock...why take my order if you didn't have the stock? I needed the item quickly, but you had no stock control, so I had to wait even longer for another supplier to fulfill my order. Thanks!

DJI Flip

Brought the DJI Flip for £100 cheaper than anywhere else. Ordered on a Sunday so didn't get next day delivery (it does state Monday to Friday on the website) but did arrive on the Tuesday no problem. I would recommend and definitely have no problem using again.

However, we want to clarify what happened, as we believe it’s important that both you and others reading this review have a full and accurate picture of the situation.

You placed your order with us on Friday, January 31st, at 16:11. Unfortunately, due to stock availability, we had to cancel the order, and at 17:19—just over an hour later—we immediately processed your full refund and sent you an email explaining the situation. The refund was successfully issued on our end through Klarna at that time. Klarna, like most payment providers, advises that refunds take between 2-5 business days to be processed and appear in a customer’s account. This is a standard banking process that we, as a retailer, have no control over.

On Monday, February 3rd, at 14:36, we received your first email regarding the refund. We responded the very same day at 17:39, reassuring you that the refund had already been processed and explaining that it might take a few business days to reflect in your account. At every step, we were upfront and transparent, ensuring you had all the necessary information.

In your review, you stated that we "took money for a product we didn’t even have in stock" and that after five days, you had "no refund and no contact." However, this is not an accurate reflection of the situation. We did not hold onto your money at any point—your refund was issued immediately on January 31st. The delay in seeing it in your account was purely down to Klarna’s processing time, which, unfortunately, we have no way of expediting. Additionally, we were in communication with you from the start, first notifying you about the cancellation and refund on the same day the order was placed and then responding to your follow-up query as soon as it came in.

We completely understand that waiting for funds to appear back in an account can be frustrating, and we sincerely wish this had been a smoother experience for you. However, we take pride in being honest and proactive with our customers, and we hope that anyone reading this will see that we handled this situation responsibly and in line with industry standards. If you still have any concerns or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out—we’re more than happy to help.

Aarke kettle

Needed a kettle, had been looking to buy a chrome dualit, but came accross the Aarke kettle which is really sleek. It’s £200 normally, so was thrilled to find it at £150!
I’m very happy with it and wouldn’t hesitate to buy from this company as delivery was swift.
