They arrived as expected, were friendly and polite and provided the certificate very promptly - on the same day as survey.

The assessor was polite, friendly and efficient. He explained next steps and apologised for being late as he was stuck in traffic but this was not an issue at all as I had a one hour window for the appointment.

The whole experience was a pleasure from his journey to my home and his politeness whilst in my home definitely recommend.

I had a very disappointing experience with MyConstructor and would strongly caution others before using their service.

I booked an EICR inspection and provided my card details to secure the appointment.

On the day of the original appointment, I raised concerns about the assigned electrician based on a prior experience and requested to reschedule.

The contractor sent messages threatening to involve debt collectors despite the fact that I had already provided payment details to secure the booking. This communication was inappropriate and caused unnecessary stress. The appointment was then rescheduled with a different electrician. However, no one attended the rescheduled appointment, and I was still charged £129 in full.

I am also concerned that MyConstructor did not take this threatening communication seriously when it was reported as part of my complaint.

I was charged for a service that was never delivered and I am still waiting for a refund for a payment taken at the end of January.

Since raising my complaint on 2 March, I have received only generic responses stating that the matter is being investigated, with no meaningful updates or timeline for resolution. Despite repeatedly following up and escalating my complaint to a manager, the issue remains unresolved.

Overall, the lack of accountability, poor communication, and failure to resolve what is a straightforward issue, a charge for a service that was never delivered, is unacceptable. MyConstructor does not appear to take sufficient responsibility for the conduct of the contractors towards their customers. Based on this experience, I would not recommend using MyConstructor.
