It’s a scam website. Made a purchase and after 2 months they never shipped or responded. Having to go to CC to dispute it.

I don't know how they are considered a legit website as my order never shipped and all my emails come back undeliverable. So how can a website without legit contact methods be considered a legit business??

Suspected price on wood stove was too good but AI and Trustpilot said they were reputable. BS!

Placed order 5/22. Same day confirmation email said team would respond with shipping details soon. Now 6/12 and I've left 2 voice messages and just received email bounce saying sales... does not exist. Did google search of address (1151 Walker Rd, Dover, DE 19904) and street view shows "Walt Bagley Hall Transitional Housing for Men".

My order was canceled after 10 days

They have earned the rating as the worst excuse for an online company I have dealt with in years.

They wrote me after 10 days of placing my order “However, just as we thought the order was going smoothly with our distributor, we received an unexpected email from them today informing us that they can no longer fulfill the order due to an internal change in our business partnership. Despite our efforts to have it processed as an exception, they are unable to proceed.”
They went onto say… “ We are closely working with our product team to correct the listing on our website.”… let’s see how long it takes them to take all of their offerings for Monument Grills off their website.

THEY SHOULD NOT OFFER ITEMS FOR SALE ON THEIR WEBSITE FROM VENDORS THEY APPARENTLY DO NOT HAVE AN ESTABLISHED BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP WITH!

I am not surprised they had to cancel my order for the Monument Eminence 425 Grill. I thought it was quite odd the price was so low, they did not charge State Sales Tax and at Checkout there were fees automatically applied for Damage Protection, Loss Protection & Theft Protection that were very difficult to remove.

I read reviews about mybackyardzone.com and was leery right from the start. That is why I paid with PayPal.

I feel there is no way they can, and should stay in business with a 20 day normal shipping policy and charging extra for:
- Damage Protection
- Loss Protection
- Theft Protection
- 7 Day Expedited Shipping Fee to have an order ship in 7 days or less.

Again… they have earned the rating as the worst excuse for an online company I have dealt with in years.

Don't buy from these people. Hig ticket order placed a week ago and haven't had an update. They have not responded to email.

Purchased a rare, used Leica 280mm/4 Apo lens from the Leica Store San Francisco. Mybackyardzone has an ad for the same lens, including the same serial #, for suspiciously less than I paid or what the lens is worth Mybackyardzone claims to have 13 in stock! Unlikely! This seems to be a scam. They certainly do not have the lens delivered to me last week. Caveat emptor.

My experience with My Backyard Zone was incredibly frustrating and felt misleading from start to finish.

The company advertises very attractive prices in Google Shopping results, which is what initially drew me in while searching for a lightweight backpacking tent for an upcoming trip. However, once you get to checkout, a variety of extra fees suddenly appear and significantly increase the final price. While the total may still end up slightly cheaper than competitors, the pricing strategy feels intentionally deceptive and designed to lure customers in with artificially low advertised prices.

The bigger issue, though, is fulfillment and customer service.

After placing my order, the item was never shipped. Communication was poor, updates were vague or nonexistent, and the entire process felt like a storefront more interested in generating traffic and collecting orders than actually delivering products in a reliable timeframe. When someone orders gear for a specific trip or deadline, that matters. Outdoor equipment is not something people casually wait around for with no communication.

After digging deeper, I found multiple other customer complaints describing similar experiences involving delayed shipping, canceled orders, unresponsive support, and checkout surprises. ([PissedConsumer][1]) That made this feel less like an isolated mistake and more like a pattern.

There are too many reputable outdoor retailers to gamble on a company operating like this. I would strongly recommend buying from established retailers with transparent pricing, reliable fulfillment, and actual customer support instead of risking your time and money here.

This place is a scam! Don't use this site!
