I am working with Carpet One and putting in my order. I am impressed with the help and communication, but I am quite surprised that they require 75% cash up front from individuals with excellent credit.

Mount Vernon Carpet One has excellent customer service all the way through the process. They asked thought provoking questions and aligned us with multiple local professionals the job required. They managed our flooring project down to the detail. The carpet and flooring installer took great care of the area and cared about the end result. We will be calling on Mount Vernon Carpet One for our next project for new countertops.

Dotty and Ben both did an excellent job. We are very pleased. Ten years ago, Alyssa designed our new bathroom - another fabulous job.

Amanda was friendly, helpful and great at communicating every step of the process. I would definitely recommend Carpet One to my friends and family and will go to them first for any future projects!

Working with Morgan was a true pleasure. He listened when I told him what I wanted, made recommendations, showed me different styles, and was so patient. The installers did an excellent job (both carpet and wood). Everyone went the extra mile to ensure that the job was done well and that we were happy. I would highly recommend them.

I went to two places to look for flooring and decided to purchase with Carpet One. They had a very nice showroom, a friendly and clean environment, and available sales people ready to help. The one tile that I loved was at Carpet One and the other place I looked, it was nice to see the larger selection at Carpet One so I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything "good". I received a quote from Carpet One as well as the other business and for some reason Carpet One was over $100 less which made it even better. Pick up was easy, everyone was so helpful. We will return there for the next flooring project in our home!

We had original 15 year old carpet in the living/dining room and original linoleum in the kitchen, laundry room, powder room and master bath removed and replaced with beautiful CoreTec Plus luxury vinyl plank. The installers were amazing and had everything completed in 1.5 days. One of the installers stayed until 9:05 PM on the first day getting all of the CoreTec installed. On the second day, all of the baseboards, 1/4-round molding and thresholds were installed and the job completed. We are very pleased with the results and will definitely use Carpet One again.

Dotty was so helpful in helping us make a decision on the type of carpet to get. The installation was flawless and we are delighted with the results.

THE BEST AROUND. I am so thankful to the team at Carpet One for helping take care of all of our flooring needs. When a very unexpected disaster destroyed all of our downstairs flooring, there wasn't a moments hesitation that we wouldn't be calling Carpet One to help put our floors back together. The entire team from Dotty to the expert crews made our flooring dilemma a success. Tony and his crew perfectly installed our new laminate floors and Alfredo and his crew expertly installed the vinyl in the laundry room. Everyone was super easy to work with and very accommodating. If we ever have to redo our floors we will go back to Mount Vernon"s Carpet One. They are very professional and very helpful.

We appreciated the patience of our sales representative, Tanya, as we took our time choosing the carpet. The timeline of ordering and receiving the carpet worked well for us, and the carpet was well installed in a timely fashion. We feel we got good quality carpet at a reasonable price. And we're really enjoying it.

Beth and Cecil are the dynamic duo. Very professional, experienced, and easy to work with.

LOVE our carpet! The installer was great and got a huge job done BY HIMSELF in 2 days! Cannot see any seams and he cleaned up after himself. No scuff ups of baseboards either. Extremely happy and satisfied with the end result - we have a ‘new’ house!!

Absolutely excellent experience at Carpet One! Amanda was amazing; extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. She truly listened to me and helped me find the style I was looking for, although I really wasn’t sure what I wanted. I had been dreading this remodel, especially because of my lack of knowledge on flooring, but this experience was very positive and informative— I didn’t feel pressured to buy, and left feeling confident in my decision. Amanda helped me pick out carpet in store that was the perfect fit for our home. Aaron came out to measure our room the next morning and 2 days later our new carpet was installed. The Mount Vernon Carpet installer, Michael, did a fantastic job with our basement floor. He was very careful to prep the floor and take the time to get ready for the vinyl install. Michael was thoughtful, considerate and conscientious about his time in our home and was a delight to work with.
Michael was exceptionally meticulous and didn't want to leave anything undone or done poorly.
Our contacts with Larry were also very favorable. He was very patient and thorough about the business part of this job and also advised us when needed about our best possible choices for the work we had done. Thank you to both of these men for making our basement "re-do" a very successful experience.
