John Deere OEM Likely a Knock-Off
Ordered an isolator (rubber cover seal) for my John Deere x304 rear bagger for $39. Supposed part was an OEM. It is more than likely that the part was a substandard knock-off. It lasted less than 6 weeks and deteriorated to a point where it split. I provided them as requested, photos, the invoice/receipt, JD part number, lawn tractor model number, and its serial number. And still they're asking me for a "PIN" number which they now explain after several emails, is the part number....which has been listed on the original invoice. I finally emailed them and said, just forget it! For $39, I'll find the part elsewhere and asked them to permanently delete my account. Stay away!!!!!!....Their reply is bogus as the isolator has absolutely nothing to do with the lawn tractor as it is part of the rear bagger unit which is a totally separate attachment. They know this and their repeated requests for the lawn tractor's PIN is nothing more than harassment at this stage. For a $39 defective part, they should be embarassed. Follow-up response...the PIN they requested on a 2007 X304 is the same as the tractor's serial number which was provided to them in the very first email that was sent to them after their initial request further indicating that they were simply delaying the replacement. But I do appreciate their willingness to no longer contact me.

Thank you for your feedback. Our components are OEM direct components direct from the manufacturer. John Deere does require the PIN from your machine to be able to assist you further. The PIN is the product Identification number from your mower itself. Per your request, we have discontinued all communication. Please reach out only if you are requesting additional assistance.
