After graduation, finding a job in motion design is tough. Just having a degree doesn't guarantee anything. That's why I started looking into courses, and Motion Design School is so far top-notch. Their courses are simple to follow and actually enjoyable. You learn theory and practical stuff, and being part of their community means you can always ask questions and get help. Right now, I'm loving their 3D Motion Beast Course which I can recommend to everyone who wants to learn Cinema 4D.

Fundamentals on After Effects: Solidifying my knowledge in After Effects has boosted my ability to create high-quality animations efficiently.

Animated Loops with James Curran : Creating engaging, looping animations has been a fun and creative process that's enhanced my social media process.

I pre-purchased the Rive course. By watching the trailers and promotion one would think is quite a complete and comprehensive high-quality course. Once the course went live, I found out that the classes are only a set of guided instructions with no real explanation on how the software actually works or any deep / conceptual knowledge at all. Just blindly follow instructions so you can achieve the results.

Knowing this, I requested a refund. On the refund policies page it says that you're able to request a refund within 14 days of your purchase and that you didn't have to use a discount coupon to purchase the course. Support told me that they cannot give me a refund as I purchased the course with a coupon, which is not true. The course had a special pre-purchase price when I bought it, but it never said that it was using a coupon to make that discount, so in my opinion it's very deceiving and clearly a strategy to not make refunds.

The course is far to be worth the price that I paid ($299). It has clearly been rushed and I don't recommend it at all.

I'll be taking legal actions against MDS to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Sound Design for Animation : Learning to create and synchronize sound effects with my animations has been an invaluable skill, adding an extra layer of depth and emotion to my projects.
