Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless - they should rebrand them selves to END-YOUR-LIFE
with the time it takes them to top & tail paperwork during moving house. My Mother-inlaw is about to loose her new property due to the vender pulling out for the amount of time END-YOUR-LIFE is taking to complete simple tasks. She sold in Feb 2025, it is now Aug and still not completed. Just when she is told that this is the last piece of paperwork, they conjour up something else, whilst using their popular catchphrase
"it will be with you in 3 to 5 days" 🤬

PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING USING THIS COMPANY AND MAY WANT TO MOVE. This company are absolutely appalling if you want to port your mortgage, it is 7 months since my mum had an offer accepted on a property and still can't exchange so the seller is pulling out and I can't blame him. Good luck finding a buyer for your property and a seller who won't mind waiting the best part of a year to move! Of course all the solicitors fees incurred, will still need to be paid, not that More 2 Life care. They constantly move the goal posts, taking 3 weeks to resolve each enquiry, the latest one, which theyve been unable to resolve in 3 weeks, was the ground rent being payable within 28 days of the demand, which is £5 per year! The Freeholder can't apply for forfeiture unless the amount owed is £350, or there are more than 3 years of arrears. Obviously it won't get to £350, at £5 per year and why would anyone risk losing their property for £15!
What really makes me most angry is the complete disregard for the mental wellbeing of customers, the stress has been unbelievable and to see the impact this has had on my mum is awful. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Following the response from M2L below, if this is resolved today, there ia very small chance the sale won't collapse. After weeks of waiting to see if the risk of not paying £5 a year is too high, despite making all interest payments, I doubt any urgency will be applied now. I will update this once I know.

I have a drawdown facility with this company when i made an application to draw down some money they informed me it would take 10 days this was the 2nd of august, on Tuesday 12th august i called for an update only to be informed the case was with their solicitor and would take 5 working days to be sorted, they told me it was 3 working days since the solicitor was handed the case, i contacted them again on 15th of august only to be informed it was still with the solicitor and not their fault it was some one else's fault, so 13 days in i still am no further forward, each time i requested further information the person on the call for more2life left me hanging on the line on the last occasion i specifically told that all the information she had given me was all there was, each time i tried to explain my position i was cut off by the lady i eventually after getting cut off mid sentence and being talked down too, i specifically asked her to let me continue uninterrupted to explain the position the lack of information had caused me, when i finished i asked to talk to the drawdown team and was told the information she gave me was all they had i am now in the process of looking for another company to take on my loan as when i mentioned i might move my loan to the girl i was informed fair enough, the girl did not seem to care about my problems or about solving them leaving me in an unsolvable situation due to the original time scales offered by more2life and then lack of information on informing me about hold ups and if i had not called i would know mothing about the problems more2life know all about

I can't say that my early experience with More2Life was a happy one - poor communication and explanations, letters arriving after the deadline for my signature and in a flimsy envelope with a window half hiding the address. Weeks and weeks to get a drawdown because of inexplicable technical problems. Eventually I was passed on to Jake Friel who was excellent, lovely to deal with, kept me informed and eventually solved the problem. So I was delighted to see that he was handling my latest drawdown and it went through so quickly - less than a fortnight - that I was quite shocked. Thanks Jake. My one complaint would be that the drawdown rate of interest was edging towards a whopping 9%. Ouch!
