Not the first time using Moonpig, have recently purchased Moonpig Plus. About to order 3 cards today to find they want to charge me £3.99 per card postage!!!! No choice of whether I want tracked or not. Absolutely disgusting. Will not be purchasing from them again at this postage price. Talk about profiteering. At least give a choice Moonpig.
Money was removed from my account by this lot without my permission! they stated i signed up for moonpig plus which i never did! contacted them though their chat!.. got knowhere with their staff member Margaret who kept asking for different email addresses so she could trace the tansaction which i foolishly made since April last year. Now I have had to cancel my card again because of these stupid people who never had my permission to sign up a customer without their permission ! only one word for this.. and thats THEFT! : I was expecting an answer but they obviously dont give a Rats about anyones money! never again! and the situation reported to the police for fraud! They didnt even bother to reply to this review! a real bunch of no users!
I ordered my card with 2 weeks notice for my daughter’s birthday she is in Australia we are Ireland . It wasn’t delivered . I only knew because I asked to see it . When seeking my refund the customer services tried to press me into a “ free” reprint ( event having past )and no refund . It’s not free if I have already paid it’s just shockingly poor service . Other companies do what they do properly .
Very disappointed with the Australian branch of Moonpig. I have used them for my family in New Zealand. A couple of times cards didn’t get delivered. My recent experience was; I sent a card to my nephew and it never arrived. His birthday was Feb 26th. They are sending out another one which won’t arrive until March 5th They have AI answer any enquiries. I have asked for a real person but have not been contacted at all. Terrible customer service.
UK Moonpig service is better. They at least answer questions promptly and deliver (in most cases) on time too.

Ordered a Christmas and Birthday card for a cousin in New Zealand. Both were ordered in plenty of time. At the checkout I opted for delivery to be on the 23rd December 2025. The website itself accepted this date. Have now come to find out that both were delivered on 4th January 2026!! I had no email or contact to say these were going to be late. On top of this I am in the UK, and as cousin is in NZ I was advised to buy the cards from Moonpig AU. Incidentally, neither card arrived in envelopes!!! They were in a package but the cards were just put in, no envelopes at all. What if these had been for different members of the household?! Dreadful service, I have had spam emails from Moonpig ever since, they are relentless. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
I can only conclude that this company is a scam. Having paid an amount that doubled the price of the order to ensure overnight tracked delivery, the card took a week to arrive and was therefore late for a very important birthday.
Moonpig's response was "well you should be grateful we got it there at all and no we won't refund the exorbitant postage charge despite the fact that we so obviously didn't deliver when we said we would".
Had I known they would take a week to deliver the item I could have gone to another company or just not paid the extra for the overnight delivery and saved some money. For all I know Moonpig could just be charging for the expedited service and then sending the item by normal post and keeping the money.
Now we're in the "Customer Service" (that's a joke) hell where they've messed up but they've got your money and refuse to return it and, when you can get hold of them, just send patronising emails refusing to take responsibility. There are lots of alternatives to Moonpig out there, I suggest that you use one of them instead.
I usually use Moonpig Australia for my family in Australia at least a couple times a year for various family members (I'm in the uk) and had no problems. But his year I ordered a gift that I think was genuinely mislabeled. Because it was "perishable" Moonpig wouldn't take it as a return which is fair enough - but it felt like a kick in the teeth when they just outright refused even a voucher or an alternative gift to send just because I didn't read the ingredients list.
I know a few quid a year means nothing to them in the long run but loyal customer lost unfortunately.
Placed an order which never arrived. A month after placing my order I was promised to be refunded in full which never occured. There was no sincerity, and zero care factor that they had ruined a special occassion. I recommend if you are looking to send a card you go anywhere other than moonpig. They told me I could make a new order for the card that never showed up, but this would mean I would be twice out of pocket and this seems like a scam.
I found it quite easy to personalize the card I wanted to send and to navigate their site. I just needed a little assistance from my granddaughter on how to put some words on the front of the card. Overall, I am very pleased with the outcome. The price was very reasonable. The only suggestion I would like to make is that when asked what size card I would like to send, there were accompanying measurements. If there were measurements, and I neglected to see them, I apologize. Thank You Moonpig.
Love moonpig. Great choice of cards, easy to personalise and great prices. Cards have always arrived on time both here and UK
Moonpig is great in other parts of the world, but in Australia they use Australia Post to send the card. Since Australia Post provides terrible service, so does Moonpig.
My mum got her mothers day card nearly 2 weeks late.
Website is very user friendly. Great selection of cards etc to choose from. Very pleased with Moonpig.
Do not use Moonpig Australia. They take your money, you will never get any card. This is our second time of being scammed by them Our first experience was a year ago when we ordered a birthday card which never arrived. We wrote off the cost. Stupidly we tried to use them again this year thinking we just got unlucky last year. Same thing. We paid $13, ordered it 10 days in advance to make sure it had time to get there. It was due to be delivered to Sydney 2 days ago on 30th April, but it has not even despatched yet even though we ordered it 10 days ago. I doubt we will get a refund, just like we didn't get one last year either. Moonpig Australia is a scam - do not use them.
