Got this single clutch billet torque converter as a replacement for the stock one. The new one works fantastic and my truck runs smoothly now shifts great and no shudder. Also added a cooler bypass and now no more overheating

The worst company I’ve dealt with.

This was going to be my second transmission from Monster. The first unit constantly leaked fluid, and warranty calls were never returned. Despite that experience, I gave them another chance after hearing about their “new direction.” That was a mistake.

At purchase, I was quoted a 4–6 week lead time. At 7.5 weeks, they still hadn’t even started building my transmission. After I pushed for answers, they apologized and promised it would ship in two more weeks. That deadline came and went—then I was informed they had canceled my order entirely and did not even have my transmission, despite previously claiming it was being built.

To make matters worse, they said they would hold my money for another 2–3 weeks before issuing a refund. So now I have no transmission and no money.

I’ve already contacted my bank to initiate a chargeback and will be reporting this company. No customer should have to deal with this level of mismanagement and dishonesty. The best part? Everything is documented in writing.

What a mess. Stay far away from these jokers.

Transmission came in good same, perfect match to what I had, swapped everything over threw it In and it drove great. Crisp shifts. One of the oil containers had a hole in it from shipping but not that much spilt out. Came with seal to trans cooler lines.

I called at 4pm on Saturday and got a human. John was great was able to place an order ford a street monster 10r80. It shipped on monday arrived on Thurday install on friday everything went so smooth. Now have about 35 test miles on new transmission everything good. Call at 4 on friday to return core. Again customer service was great. Pick up scheduled for next Wednesday. This far super happy."

This is a terrible company, with terrible customer service, its been over 2 months and I cannot get a call back about my order, I have left over 5 voice mails with no answer, for all of you in the same boat as me, instead of dialing 2 for service, hit 1 for sales and go off on that guy, thats what i did and I got a call back today, the gave me another line of crap and said it was gonna be at least another month before I get my money back from them sending me the wrong transmission for the vin I provided, please do yourself a favor and pay double for another company before you stoop this low, they just stole $3,000 from me and im gonna have to hire a lawyer to get it back, I ordered a jasper transmisison and it took 3 days to get here and the truck is gone, im still waiting months later for my money back on this hunk of junk they sent me that never even got filled with fluid because it had the wrong output shaft in it.

The customer service was fantastic and extremely helpful and fast .The shipping was great not only cheaper then i expected especially considering where I live but fast as well.I will definitely buy from them again. Thank you guys !

purchased new, never liked the shifting, 95k miles, overheated on the highway had to get towed home. added thermal bypass, had fluid flushed at dealer. truck was shifting hard and sloppy with lots of torque converter shudder on the way home. did not drive it afterwards. took a chance it was just the torque converter and purchased stock 1600rpm, went for a drive today and it was so smooth and shifted so well, temps are in the 160's. thank you Monster for the advice on the phone and having the parts I needed available and on sale. I am very happy all around.

Ordered and received the transmission within a week. Installation by my shop went smoothly, but had to work out the tune after a couple of days of driving. All good now. Scheduling the core return was also easy. Great price and included the fluid."

I ordered a 4l65 and sent me a 4l60 for a truck did not know that till we tried to install it. I needed a 4l65 or 4l60 I still do not have it I was calling daily and no answers. I did get a email from them saying they still have not built it yet and it been past the 4 weeks and he said it going to be a few more weeks. No good communication. I was told it was being built and now they say its not even in production. Why lie and if you mess up fix it. We as people are not perfect. Monster transmission cost me money time and trust. They have offered my money back and I now am going to go that route. I would look at other options before going this route like I did and learn the hard way. I asked them to make it right and push my transmission thru but no trust in thier team.

Purchased a billet 6L80 converter. Nice people, best products.

This place a complete scam. They send out junk equipment then give you a run around about honoring their warranty. Beware of them!!!

I purchased a transmission from Monster Transmission in October 2023 that was advertised and sold as a 4L65E. After installation, the transmission caused the engine to stall as soon as it was put in gear. Monster Transmission was contacted right away, and they had me remove and send the transmission back to them for inspection.

A short time later, they voided my warranty, claiming there was “clutch material in the pan” and that I didn’t replace the transmission cooler. Their own installation instructions said to flush the cooler with one can of transmission flush. To be safe, we flushed it with three cans, so their requirement was more than met.

The transmission never shifted correctly from day one, and I rarely drove the truck because I didn’t trust it. After about 5,000 miles, the transmission failed completely. When I took it to another shop to have it replaced, the mechanic discovered that the transmission Monster sent me was actually a 4L60E, not a 4L65E.

Monster Transmission misrepresented the product they sold me and then denied the warranty unfairly. Additionally, the company was very difficult to reach after the initial purchase—calls and messages often went unanswered, and it took multiple attempts to get any response.

supper happy with the product and service. when I originally put my order in I used the wrong shipping address. I called and emailed them after hours and the next morning they called me back and got my order changed. They also ran through my vehicle with me to make sure I had ordered the proper transmission. The transmission arrived quickly and as expected. was installed easily and now the other core is on its way back"

Shipping was late they are rude don’t recommend

I talked tona sales rep after I ordered the transmission they wanted to ensure I recieved the correct transmission for my truck the transmission was in rought to the shop that installed the transmission within a week and then they helped me get the transmission heading back for my core charge refund quick the transmission seems to work perfect no issues
