Pleasantly surprised

I called expecting to hear none of the dates I wanted to travel were available. Detrick PetersonMcnamara was able to assist me in booking the exact dates I wanted. Detrick was friendly and knowledgeable. I am very relieved and looking forward to my trip to Destin, FL.

Booksi is Overbooked

I was originally sold on the promise that I would be able to easily book vacations in Sedona, specifically at the three resorts they advertise there. That turned out to be completely misleading. Every time I tried to make reservations through Booksi, there was little to no availability — even when looking two, three, or four months in advance. The locations I actually wanted were never available.

What makes this even more frustrating is that none of this was made clear upfront. Only after purchasing did I find out there was a required 90-minute timeshare presentation attached to the deal. That was never properly disclosed during the sales process. If I choose not to attend the presentation, then I’m expected to pay even more money for the room anyway. At that point, I might as well have just booked a regular hotel directly without all the games and restrictions.

The entire experience feels like a bait-and-switch. You’re shown attractive destinations and promises of discounted vacations, but once you actually try to use the package, suddenly the advertised resorts are “unavailable,” and you’re pushed toward completely different properties far away from where you wanted to stay. I wanted a relaxing vacation in Sedona — not to be sent an hour or two away and spend my trip driving around Arizona.

Customer service is another major issue. It regularly takes 20–30 minutes just to get someone on the phone. That part is extremely frustrating, especially when you’re already dealing with booking problems. To be fair, once you finally reach someone, the representatives themselves are usually very polite and professional. The employees seem well-trained and genuinely nice. The problem is there clearly are not enough of them to handle the volume of calls.

I strongly believe they need to hire more customer service staff because the current wait times are unacceptable. A company selling travel packages should have support available without forcing customers to sit on hold for half an hour every single time they need help.

After researching further, I realized many other customers report the same issues: unavailable dates, hidden presentation requirements, long hold times, upselling, and feeling misled about what was actually included. 

Overall, I’m extremely disappointed. The advertising felt misleading, the availability was nothing like what was promised, the timeshare presentation requirement was not clearly disclosed upfront, and the customer service wait times make an already frustrating process even worse. I went into this expecting a vacation experience and instead got stress, wasted time, and disappointment.

Excellent Customer Service

Candace Bowe was a big help to me today. Although I did not complete my reservation today, she gave me all the information I needed. She is the reason that I will be calling back next week to finish my reservation. Her customer service was excellent!! Thank you Candace!!

Stephanie is what made me give you the 5 stars! I found you on Facebook and decided to give it a try but after I found out that I need to sit thru a sales session after it said I didn't, I had changed my mind. So I called to cancel and was able to speak with Stephanie and after a few minutes of trying to work something out so I could keep it she gladly help me cancel no pushing just ok that's fine and wish we could have been able to do something, she is the sweetest ever! Give her a raise! She was great! Thanks again Stephanie.

I have several trips with Monster and have asked for an email listing all (17-18??) trips I have but haven’t received anything yet with 3 such requests. However, I had to change travel dates and location on an upcoming trip and Cristhian Barahona was very patient and helpful with this. Hope I get my email showing me all that I have on record.

The room was clean and staff were welcoming. However, the room faced a wall and while we had a balcony it was on the same level as ductwork feeding the ballroom or hallway below. Seemed like a room of last resort, when I don’t think the hotel was anywhere near full. I guess we got what we paid for.

I didn’t join Monster to have a good booking experience. I joined to get a nice room at a great price.

This was our first experience so the bar is low. we will see where it goes

Absolutely do not book with them

Absolutely do not book with them , the moment I purchased my package I was immediately being being upselled other packages rather than the one I purchased . Before buying this package, I made sure to the fine print And it said nothing about no refunds So I was pleased to actually buy the package once I actually tried to book if someone instead of trying to book the actual package, they were trying to sell me even more packages or other packages that can’t Compare to what I purchase I could do not with that first day of me purchasing a package I spoke to at least five different people The fifth one being the higher up and when I tell you, this man is absolutely rude and disgusting I kept telling him that the only package of the one that I purchased, and he kept trying to push on even more even going as far as trying to give a discount in order for me to purchase the package instead of focusing on the one that I already purchased once I told him no, and I was still trying to book the actual package that I purchased. I got hung up on. I got hung up on at least five times that day so I said you know what I’m going to request a refund. Everyone here is absolutely disgusting and it’s just trying to sell me even more things that I did not request for. I made the purchase April 30, 2026. I called today Wednesday may 6 to get a refund I was ignored on the phone and the guy the. Tried to tell me I never spoke to anyone literally trying to call me crazy 🤦🏾‍♀️ I have literal call logs and emails . Once I said I want a refund all of a sudden there is not refund how ironic huh ? Then literally after saying that tryed to still sell me the package and more 🤣 this is absolutely crazy I just told the guy I’ll be calling my bank you guys a scam I hung up and started getting calls back soo if you are thinking of booking pleaseeeee don’t this was supposed to be a trip to Cancun for my 28th birthday Sept 9 I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed I fell for this scam no one has customer service they will talk to nice but once you say your not interested in what they are trying to upsell you they hang up … doooooo not book
