Ik werk nu al meerdere jaren voor Modops met veel plezier. Twee geweldige coaches, die altijd klaar staan om te helpen en opmerkingen meteen oppakken en er wat mee doen. Er is vrijwel altijd constante stroom van berichten op alle dagen. De staffel loopt zeer snel op en je zit makkelijk op de hoogste staffel, daarnaast een bonus vanaf 17.00 uur tot 01.00 uur en nog eens extra in het weekend. Ze betalen hiermee een stuk hoger dan vrijwel alle andere Nederlandse sites en ik ontvang de betaling altijd keurig op maandagmiddag.

I applied for a position with them, they requested personal documents like a long list of personal information, passport, bank statement etc. After that they said we will not give you the job. Now they have all my personal data and these people can misuse all my info. This is unacceptable.

This company can not improve as they are out to treat everyone badly and scam as many people as they can. I had an accident and had to be in hospital for a while so I stated one week I could not do target and the leader Pleun said that was fine. Then I find I have been blocked and they took the money I was owed. They scam men out of money and make you respond to horrific abusive texts from men. They try to hack your computer too.

Twee weken gewerkt voor ze. Maar laatste week werd ik om onbekende reden geblockeert. Eerste keer had Pleun het opgelost zonder een reden aan te geven waarom ik was geblockt en ja de tweede keer weer zonder reden geblockt alleen deze keer ook helemaal geen reactie meer van Pleun. Ik ben gelukkig wel uitbetaald maar zou aangeven extra voorzichtig te zijn met werken voor hun.

Beside that, my friend worked here for a short time and he isn't satisfied at all. The earning calculator on their website gives false information. They claim that you can send 650 messages per day if you work 8 hours, but my colleague could only send 250! So it doesn't pay enough to endure the dirty s*x chats.

The supply of messages to be processed is also far too few. In fact, there is no stability at all and you are lucky if you are allowed to process a few messages. If they appear on screen. When the time finally comes that you can do something, you only get long messages from people who are actually mentally unwell.
The customers talking on the platform should actually need mental help. But because health care has also been cut, these people have to rely on themselves. In principle you are almost a kind of spiritual social worker. Underpaid, admittedly. You simply have to do a lot of work and you get paid far too little for it. I speak from 10 years of experience doing this work and I have worked on this platform for several years.
A distinction is also made between native and foreign moderators. Usually the foreign moderators only receive the long messages and native moderators the short messages so that they can process them quickly and easily. We discussed this internally with the employees without the employer being aware of it. We looked into it and found out in no time. It is also so unfair that the platform's customers are allowed to write very sloppily. They often write without punctuation marks, so you have to keep racking your brains and puzzling over every message. Many customers do not use punctuation and have very poor grammar.
On the other hand, as an employee of the platform, you must deliver perfect quality. This is of course a very skewed contrast that is completely incorrect. Unfair and very wrong treatment. The company's employees come last. The customer, who writes very sloppily and often does not know how to deal with people, is favored. While the employee is given a grammar test and closely monitored for spelling errors and the like. It's just that crooked and unfair.
Of course, you can consider working for the platform, although I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I have just described and discussed the negatives. So you can make your own judgement.
