Really good service

Brilliant service from Michael Jones Jeweller. They repaired a bracelet clasp for me with care and precision. The team are always professional, friendly and clearly highly skilled gold and silversmiths. The showroom on Gold Street is lovely, and the repair pricing was very fair for the quality of work. It’s great to find a jeweller who combine craftsmanship, honesty and great customer service. Highly recommended.

Not only Charlie, but all the staff I encountered during my two visits to your Banbury branch, were absolutely wonderful. The level of service was excellent and I'm so very pleased with the results of replating my engagement ring. More importantly, however, is how much care and attention your staff demonstrated. I had previously had a terrible experience (with another jeweller) when my rings were sent off for replating. I explained to Charlie how an entirely different ring - different setting, different stone even - had been sent back as the jeweller had broken mine during the process, and how that had made me extremely reluctant to trust my rings to anyone else over the last decade. Charlie patiently explained the whole collection, replating work and delivery process Michael Jones uses, including that nothing is sent via the post or a courier, instead it is personally delivered to your jeweller at the Northampton branch by a member of staff and then personally brought back to Banbury by another member of staff. Such a relief - and so lovely for my very real concerns to be taken seriously and approached with kindness. I will certainly bring my rings back to MJJ in future!

We were given a brief overview of the history the company, which was very informative.
Simon certainly was highly knowledgeable regarding our personal Jewellery.
He was attendative to all our probing questions.

The team are knowledgable, there is no hard sell and I think your success is based on building relationships with clients. I come back time and time again and recommend you to all my friends. It is a great formula to get repeat business. Whether it is purchasing a grail watch, a jewellery repair, or simply advice, I feel I can just pick up the phone to get the help I need. Owen is fantastic. He is knowledgeable, understands the brands and you feel like you are talking to someone who knows what they are talking about. So many other jewellers I find I know more than the young salesmen trying to get a sale, as I do my own research as watches are my passion. Owen knows what he is talking about and I appreciate being able to discuss a product in detail. You have a good team and I value the relationship I have with them.
You are all nice people too, you remember what my interests are, my dogs, job etc. Your staff take an interest in clients and again it makes you feel valued and part of a family.

I also had to amend the address details prompt reply and it was rectified. The ring was just like the image . First time buyer and you seriously impressed me . I’m sorry to have to write this, but unlike my own personal experiences with Michael Jones in Banbury, when my wife went to pick up her necklace last Wednesday (which I had purchased for her birthday) I was informed that the sales person in question (who was a younger male) seemed at best disinterested in the transaction or her customer experience. He mumbled responses to her questions about the ability to return it if unsuitable, and didn’t offer to gift wrap the product or otherwise. There was absolutely no sense of occasion or affirmation that the piece would suit her, which is not what you’d expect from a high-end Jeweler. In addition, no receipt of the pickup / ownership was offered. I myself have purchased several pieces, including a Rolex Daytona, a Breitling Chronomat and a necklace in the past which was conducted with the expected level of service. This particular experience however fell way short of the mark, and I was very surprised to hear that she was disappointed.

Michael Jones's staff are always friendly and very helpful. They are highly professional, and their customer service is truly outstanding.

On arrival I was greeted by a friendly gentleman, who after I explained what I was looking for directed me to their other premises a short walk away.

Once there the staff were very helpful locating a number of watches that met my outlined requirements & allowing me to examine them carefully to see how they looked, I thus found a watch I liked much better than what I thought I'd pick when I'd been looking in their online store, without the visit I'd have undoubtedly ordered a watch that looked enormous on my wrist when subsequently seen in person.

Overall a great experience with friendly helpful staff, who saved me an expensive error, and also a wide range to choose from.

Also a great new watch which I'm thoroughly enjoying wearing.

I shall be visiting again to enquire about other things & would recommend them to anyone.
