I felt really listened to and came away feeling more hopeful.

Knowing I was being understood and they had the experience to know what was going on with me

I had a 45 min online consultation with Dr in clinic. I had a full holistic consultation exploring all aspects & the different impact it was having on every aspect of life. I was offered a few different treatment options & all the information was provided to the DR rationale. The nhs feels very broken right now around menopause care

On the positive side, I do not doubt the expertise of the doctor I saw, and in fact, I was impressed. Also, once I spoke to someone about the problem I had, it was dealt with as well as possible and quickly.

However, I have already had a difficult time seeking effective treatment for my menopause symptoms for various reasons and was hopeful that things would be different in respect of a company which clearly prides itself on taking a supportive approach and helping (peri)menopausal women seeking treatment. Therefore, I felt let down by the following issues:
1. A failure in the prescribing of my medication. I had no response to an email enquiring about this so after 48 hours from the time of emailing, I followed up with a call. It is only then that anyone was aware that nothing had happened with the prescription. If I had not chased, nothing would have happened. It means that it will have taken over a week from the appointment to get my medication. That may sound like a small amount of time but when you're struggling, it's not.
2. Lack of clarity about the cost of the medication (at the time of writing I still have no idea how much it will cost).

So, not all bad but, I'm left feeling frustrated as I had high hopes and expectations which were not met. I also think if I were more vulnerable, how would I have handled the prescription issue? Would I have had the energy to deal with it? Would it not be easier to discuss whether your own GP should manage the prescription?

I had a pre-planned telephone call with Jane. She called on time and was professional, knowledgeable and very kind. She was able to answer my questions and make some helpful suggestions of how the clinic might be able to help. I would highly recommend.

Great Dr! Saved my mind and sanity ! I felt heard for the first time in years !
The only niggle I have is that messages took so long to be answered. But lovely team, so I feel bad saying that

I have been seeing Eloise for a number of years now who had help me so much it took Eloise a few years to sort all my symptoms out when over 34 years many doctors got it wrong I would highly recommend Eloise she is such a lovely person and listens to what you say I have never felt better

I spoke with Jane who listened to my story but also shared some of her journey too. It was a very easy conversation and Jane gave sound advice as well as highlighting how Menopause Care could help me.

I spoke with a lovely lady today called Jane James . She listened, she understood and she made me feel so much better. Her advice and information was so useful . She is a wonderful person to speak to on your initial contact and is a great ambassador for Menopause Care . I would definitely consider using the service for all my concerns around my menopause care .

Excellent experience from the start, specially when you feel confused and lost

Speaking to Kate Lethaby at a very difficult and vulnerable time transformed my peri menopause experience - she listened so well and was kind and understanding but also professional and knowledgeable. Also prescriptions are delivered quickly to home which really helps when busy. I would not hesitate to recommend Menopuase Care!

Attended one online appointment, received one prescription which was paid for, and I never heard from them again, until today, over 6 months later, when they debited £178 from my account! Absolutely disgusting, they have never followed up, never provided any more prescriptions, advice or any kind of service whatsoever!
