This was a gift from my children for Mother's Day last year. They did not specifically say what they would like to know about. I personally felt knowing family history--of me and their 'ancestors' was more important than some of the questions sent to me. Therefore I made up many of my own chapter questions or headings. I would suggest more of the same kind of questions be included. Even questions like "What was your mother like?", or grandmother, or siblings etc. All questions that bring out a family tree would be good. I feel this is a good way to educate those younger who read this to learn about their family history.

Great tribute book
We made an awesome tribute book for our grandma who passed away. Included approx 45 contributors, all stories made it into the book and it was simple to order copies for everyone. Finished product looked great. It was also a nice touch that people could add multiple photos. Overall we're very happy with the result ;)

I bought memorygram as a gift to help preserve family stories, and overall it is a wonderful service , the concept is fantastic, and the actual printed hardcover book turned out beautifully , the photo reproduction quality was much better than what I anticipated, the automated phone interview feature is a lifesaver for my older relatives who don't want to type everything out, and having the voice Qr codes in the book is such an amazing touch

Thank you for the review. The feedback you shared with us about your books and about the shipping charge was genuinely valuable, and in several cases it directly shaped changes we have since made to the product.
After reviewing your order, our team confirmed in writing that your original purchase included five printed books with free shipping, and we refunded your shipping charges in full on April 21.
On the editing difficulties you described, here is precisely what we have done about each one:
1. Photos not filling the layout box: We built a Crop and reframe tool directly into the story editor. You can now click any photo and adjust how it fills the frame, with no need to edit it on your phone first.
2. Faces and heads being cut off: That same crop tool lets you zoom and reposition the image so the important parts of the photo stay in frame.
3. The same photo appearing twice, once in your story and again in a gallery, was indeed redundant and confusing. We removed the duplicate photo gallery entirely. Your photos now appear once, exactly where you place them.
4. Your name being added to the dedication automatically: We added a setting that lets you turn the automatic signature line off and control exactly how your dedication is signed, so it stays precisely as you wrote it, with nothing added underneath.
5. Blank pages in the preview: These ones are intentional. Like traditional hardcover books, each chapter opens on a right-hand page, which sometimes leaves the facing page blank. It is a hallmark of professional book design rather than an error, but we are glad to show you ways to reduce them if you would like.
Four of the five issues you raised are now fixed, and the fifth is by design. As a small, family-run team, your feedback reaches us directly and doesn't get lost. Thanks again for being a great customer!

Memorygram made it easy to tell my stories
My daughter-in-law gave me this subscription last summer and at first I had to think hard about what all I should write. As time went on, I began to remember many episodes in my life that I wanted my children and grandchildren to know. I’ve found the format easy to work with and it’s enabled me to recollect many times in my life that I probably would have never remembered. I felt saddened that I could not ask my deceased parents things in their lives that I wanted to know, and I thought my own children and grandchildren would find it fun to read over time. It was easy to add pictures out of my childhood that they could easily read about. I enjoyed reminiscing events and thinking about the many good times I had with family.
