I will never shop here again

I will never shop here again. This company's hypocrisy is staggering: they pay unlivable wages and then have the audacity to jail an employee over minimal food waste (fruit and chicken). This is not about theft; it's about a company punishing a worker for its own failure to provide a dignified wage or basic food security. A complete moral failure.

meijer is a joke. Overpriced garbage. Rudest staff in the world. I’ll never choose to enter another meijer again and will encourage everyone I know to do the same. HAVE A NICE DAY SCOTT

Absolutely disgusting

Absolutely disgusting, management were very rude and aggressive, they were not helpful at all, they tried selling expired food and drink and they fire their hungry employees and have them arrested for taking food from their throw away bin, look out for the rats

I am beyond fed up with Meijer Pharmacy…

I am beyond fed up with Meijer Pharmacy since they got rid of their app. Refilling prescriptions shouldn’t take literal days.

First of all, how did they think their new system was going to work? Did they not test it first? Submitting refills is next to impossible. It keeps rejecting them. If one goes through, the rest don’t. It has to be frustrating for my PCP as well. I’ve always submitted my refills on the same day every month. Now, it’s taking days. Who wants to go to the pharmacy three or four day in a row? No one.

Also, I now have to call them to even get my son’s meds refilled. What kind of business in this day and age thinks this is a good idea?

Now, when im actually at Meijer Pharmacy the techs are wonderful. I’m sure they’re fed up getting complaints every single day for something that isn’t even their fault.

For the love of all that is holy, go back to the flipping app or you’re not going to have any more costumers.

PHARMACY DANGEROUS!

The Meijer pharmacy in Highland Indiana won't submit Prior Authorizations and then will say they did when they didn't. Then they won't tell you they don't stock the medication you need then after two weeks of waiting then tell you it's " ordered" and then tell you it's ready only for you to show up and then be told they don't know when it will ready it isn't at the store. This has gone on for 2 weeks. If they didn't want to do there job they should have told me so I could have went elsewhere and gotten this done in a few days. Now I'm in limbo if I try to transfer to another pharmacy I may have to wait even longer. Not sure what to do. After this never going back though. Have to wonder how many other people have they hurt because of this. I mean seriously if you can't or won't refill a med in a timely manner say something so someone can go elsewhere. Meijer Highland is playing games with peoples lives.

Company manager had a disabled worker…

Company manager had a disabled worker arrested for eating thrown out food that would have ended up in trash. I will never shop at any of their or their member company stores again. What a despicable behavior!

Seen the video of the poor kid, fair enough he took food but to get police involved. Stop and ask if he’s ok first take it out of his pay or sack him if you have to.

A disgrace of a company. The behaviour of the management and staff is always top down so you know the people in charge must be horrible people.

Disgusting experience and behaviour

Horrible rude staff but the manager was worse!. We visited about a month ago and the manager was shouting at another employee in front of everyone. Dirty and sticky counter and to top it off he (the manager) spat on the floor after his tirade at the employee. Utterly shocked and disgusted. Formal complaint went nowhere. Also left a review on Google because I want answered by Meijer.

Seven Hills Meijer, what do you have to say about your 16 year old disabled employee eating your discarded food and you having him arrested ?? Your multi billion dollars company should have help him afford food instead of having him arrested for eating out of your trash !! Explain it to JESUS and we will pray for your souls !! 😢😢🤬🤬🤬

Deceptive In-store coupon policy

Meijer has had a diapers and wipes in-store coupon promotion where a purchase of $70 or more in diapers and/or wipes would earn a $20 coupon 'good on next in-store purchase.' I purchased 3 jumbo boxes of diapers and a package of wipes that easily 'earned' the $20 coupon off next order. I split the very large purchase we were making that also included groceries, toys, and clothing, including some clearance items. I asked the cashier if the coupon could be used on the second half of our order. She said 'sure' and added that a customer had done the same earlier in the day. So far, so good. The register spit out the coupon and I used it toward the rest of the order, totalling over $50. As we were both watching the tally on the register, we noticed something odd. The system didn't take $20 off, but only $12 and change. I mentioned that maybe I had that much in M-Perks built up and asked whether the coupon wouldn't be activated until 24 hours later and asked for my coupon to be returned. She said that the register was showing the the coupon had already been applied! An associate was sent to customer service to find out why only $12 and parts was taken off and not the $20. The answer was that it had something to do with buying clearance items and the coupon not being good on clearance items. Yet not every item on that half of the order was 'clearance.' That part of the order, though, did include some baby items that were buy one, get one 40% off. The tags on the merchandise shelves have very small print, and it didn't look like those small tags included any text disclaimer on limitations for the coupon use. The cashier got some assistance from another associate to remove the $12 and cents discount and to reverse the coupon, but the system wouldn't budge. It still behaved as if the coupon had been applied. The cashier took the coupon and got a customer service associate to mark it with the promise that the coupon will be honored next time we shop there. I want to trust that, but should I? Meijer's register-level accounting and coupon policy seems pretty sketchy to me. Nobody had been able to explain why only $12 and change was discounted! I sincerely hope that it wasn't some M-Perks mix-up so that now there could be fewer M-Perks. And, if coupons are not supposed to work on orders with clearance items, then why didn't the system just reject the coupon in the first place? There is definitely something weird about how the registers have been programmed to accept the coupon generated by the diaper sale promotion.
