The table we chose and worked with Meeplewood really stands out and the love and detail into the craftmanship is really shown. We had a table to what we wanted and some custom elements like a custom DM screen. The team are super helpful and responsive and upon delivery and instalment, you can tell the team are very passionate about good quality gaming tables. This has been a dream of mine and all I can I say is Meeplewood smashed it. Thanks again guys.

I commissioned Meeplewood to make the board gaming table of my dreams in December and received it recently. Absolutely fabulous piece of furniture and could not be more thrilled with it. Steve did a great job advising me and keeping me up to date, and it was installed by him very professionally. He was able to work to my custom specifications and also let me know about any issues, including suggestions (such as switching to ash wood with a dye due to some issues with the sapele wood we were originally going to use). Looks brilliant and we're thrilled with it - great both as a dining table and as a gaming table!

Very unlikely to ever need another table as this will certainly last us a very long time but if I do ever need one I would definitely go with Meeplewood again. Can hugely recommend them.

This was a very big decision and we are very happy we chose Meeplewood. We were informed of the plan from the start and throughout. The decisions felt mutual. The delivery and installation were on time and efficient. The result is wonderful!

I left it a week to leave this review to really let the sense of awe settle, but that feeling is still there every time I use the table. I've sat at the table for dinner a couple of times now, and played a few games to give it a good test run and I can confidently say this table will outlive me! The sturdiness and attention to detail is amazing, Steve has put his heart and soul into this table and you can really tell! Every time I wander past I notice a new detail in the sepele grain that shines differently in the light. All throughout the process Steve has been sharing progress and picture updates, and giving me the choice to make decisions and stay involved in the process, and I now have the gaming table of my dreams!

Steve made us a very nice table and we're quite happy with it. He had to travel quite the distance to deliver it which we appreciate, and it's good to see the pictures of it on the Meeplewood site. It's very clear that he cares deeply about his craft.

He was very accommodating to our bespoke requirements, and I hope the design is something Meeplewood can use going forward.

We've recommended him to others who have expressed an interest already (my boss wanted to see the table over a Teams call!)

Very sadly there have been a couple of issues with the table (I think primarily because of the time of year in which it was made/delivered,) but Steve has said he will come by when he's next in the area to try and help with fixes, so I will probably be back to amend this review in the future, I just didn't want to forget to leave it again!

Steve made building our custom gaming/dining table an absolute pleasure.

After looking at other companies who built gaming tables and being put off by their lack of customer service and standard fixed designs, I was so relieved when Steve was not only up for working with an idea I had for a compact coffee table / small dining sized gaming table but over the moon when he was willing to take on the challenge of designing some sleek, transforming legs which weren't just like leg extension / stilts I had seen from other business.

Not only was Steve very responsive and enthusiastic in his communication to my initial request, he sent regular updates on the build via Whatsapp and even happily accommodated changes to the colour of the wood finish along the way.

The table is amazing quality, with care put into the little details. After a few weeks of use, without being precious, there is no wear or tear to be found. His craftsmanship is worth every penny.

He stuck to his deadlines and delivered the table to us months before any of the competitor brands would even have put us into production. Not only did he deliver the table personally, but fit the delivery around our working schedules.

It's a shame I can only put 5 stars, because Meeplewood deserves much much more.

Thank you for the amazing table and we can't wait to spends many nights around it with friends and family.

We spent a long time thinking about if we wanted a gaming/ dining table. We met Steve from Meeplewood at UKGE and were struck at how personable he is and what a passion he has for producing lovely gaming/ dining tables. From ordering Steve has kept us up to date about when to expect our order. When Steve started building the table he sent photos of each stage and the different elements e.g. the leaves for the top of the table. We are really happy with our table and can't recommend Meeplewood enough.

From our very first conversation with Steve from Meeplewood, until after the delivery our table, it has been nothing but an incredibly customer focused experience. Steve talked us through the design process, gave advice on options that might suit our needs, and kept us up to date through the whole design and build with photos of how it's all coming along. The smallest details on the build were not chosen by Steve, but instead he messaged us to make sure he was building our dream table - which he absolutely has. The table we got is nothing short of a work of art and is everything we could have hoped for and more. Steve was very adaptive to our needs, especially when it came to delivery as we live in a hard to reach spot. The passion Meeplewood have for game tables, crokinole boards, and the hobby in general, is clear to see from both our interactions and with the finished product. If I could give Meeplewood 6 stars I would.

Excellent service from Meeplewood. We met them at UKGE, placed an order there, and had delivery by mid august! We had photos sent over from the build process. We are beyond happy with the table and look forward to having some extra accessories made! Very happy with our choice to go with Meeplewood and highly recommend them for anyone after a board game table in the UK.

We had a custom made table done by Meeplewood a year ago.... couldn't be happier with it. Superb personalised experience to get everything just as we wanted, including several features that they hadn't done before but were still happy to experiment with. The end result is a beautiful, solid piece of furniture. It's great for gaming obviously, but beyond that it's just a lovely timeless dining table. Extremely solid build too... I looked at several other brands at a big gaming show before ordering ours and, while some were nice, others felt like basically modified flatpack furniture.... in contrast I'm pretty sure I could drive my car into our Meeplewood and the car would come off worse!! Nice people when they came to deliver and install, and nice aftersales service. Just excellent all round.
