I’m a medical doctor and I’ve worked in Denmark for almost three years. I went through the Medicolink process in 2012/2013.

Recruiting process lasted three month, and after it the language course was six months long. It was very good, they gave, what they promised. It took place in Budapest, in my hometown. So for me it was not neccessary, but the others (from other town or country) had access to apartments, free of charge. Medicolink has good teachers, high qualtiy lessons in good atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff.

All in all I think it was a good decision to work together with Medicolink, I can recommend them. Language course is really good, and it is a critical aspect, if you consider to start working in a new country.

I first got in contact with Medicolink in 2012, but I heard about the company before, because one of my colleagues already had experience with them. At that time in 2012, I had already been considering working abroad for a half year, even though the target country was not Denmark. Then that colleague of mine let me know about that Medicolink started recruiting psychiatrist residents for positions in Region North Denmark. I was already in contact with another company regarding the same positions, but I finally chose Medicolink because of its Hungarian relations. I believe that was a very good choice. I can only say positive things about them. They provide high quality language training with the possibility of extra lessons and generous financial conditions – especially compared to my doctor’s salary at that time in Hungary. Besides that, I received significant support in preparing my documents and official papers. The office facilities served all my needs too; we got all teaching material for free. The teachers were well prepared, and teaching was scheduled properly. All in all, the training provided a good basis for the job start in the Danish environment.

I have been working in Danmark in the last 5 years.
I did not have experience with, how to get work in a foreign country, that is why I chose Medicolink.This is a professional, friendly recruitment agency, which is full of experience, ambitions, good staff, both in administration and teaching. The language is very "foreign" and the learning process have been hard, still now. But Medicolink did it very well and it helps a lot in the beginning of my new life and work.
In general, I am very satisfy with Medicolink. Only one thought, I have to mention. For majority of us, who will try to bild a new career in a foreign country, this is a family and long term project. The company should have been given us a little bit more information about opportunities for our family members, regarding to how it easy or not to get job offers in another profession than healthcare and be able to integration into a new life.
Otherwise they did all what they promised. I would recommend this company to anyone, who need a professional help through the whole process.

I am a physician from Greece. I contacted Medicolink after I decided to to move to Denmark with my family. I went through a fast and professional recruitment process and I was offer the opportunity to establish my private clinic in collaboration with them which I accepted after an introductory trip to the target destination.
I started the language course in Budapest about six months after my first contact. The language course is a steep process, danish is not the easiest of languages, but the whole teaching set up is well organised and target-oriented and judging from the result, also effective. There is of course not everything or everyone to everybody's taste but I think this is the case in every similar situation. I had some gripes with the choice of the apartment in Budapest which was below par but this was addressed timely and satisfactorily. I must underline that my wife was offered free-of-charge on line danish lessons during my stay in Budapest and was also offered an introduction to what proved to be her next workplace. Well done.
Through the process I had the opportunity to be informed about all the aspects of my future work and when I finally reached Denmark I had absolutely no surprises and everything went as planned. Today after 15 months I can't say I feel exactly like home but everything is on track, kids are happy at school, both my wife and me have more than good jobs and the future looks bright.
Beware! The whole migration idea is not a simple task but in my case Medicolink has fulfilled its share of responsibilities.
There are a couple of minor complaints. I could use little more help with the choice of apartment to move in and perhaps with settling my younger kid to a nearby kindergarten, but again I am sure that I would have got help if I had asked for it.
I would definitely recommend Medicolink to any physician that is interested to move and work in Denmark.

Strictly speaking, Medicolink was the gateway to Scandinavia to me. I had a secret dream about coming here and spending time in this beautiful region of the world. I regarded these countries’ social achievements and their daily life centered on family high. I thought I should be part of this. Medicolink has made it all possible. They provided the opportunity and gave me a good linguistic and cultural base. Their six months Danish language course was fun and very useful. I think I can speak on behalf of many of my colleagues, that the effectiveness of their tuition especially in Danish grammar proved to be excellent, which has been praised even here in Denmark by the local language school.
Thanks to them I have never felt myself a complete stranger after arriving to Denmark. Could I speak to the locals in Danish? The answer is no. Did my family face huge challenges in assimilation? Yes. Can these problems, such as communication and assimilation, which normally take 2-3 years and sometimes more to resolve, be accomplished during the 6 months Medicolink course? Of course, they cannot. However, Medicolink gave me a good linguistic and cultural knowledge, which proved to be very helpful when I started here. They gave my family support. I think they delivered what they promised. I enjoyed every minute with them. Would I go back to them again, or would I recommend them to a colleague? The answer is, of course, yes.

This is a company I can recommend to anyone. The whole process from the recruitment till the integration phase is well kontrolled, I never felt myself lost. The staff is very kind, helpful and enthusiastic. „Surprisingly” the language course was really hard, but this way the integration was easier after the arrival to Denmark. The aim is not only to „survive” the first period after the arrival but to work well and enjoy the life in Denmark as soon as possible. We are still in touch.

I had very good experience with Medicolink. Recruitment process was very transparent and good. I got all important information about my future working place in Denmark and about how is to live in Denmark. Estimations about my salary and cost of living in Dk was very accurate.
Medicolink staff was very friendly, professional and helpful in every aspect of the recruitment, language course and post employment phase.
I want to emphasises also the good support and assistance concerning future settlement in Dk.
I found it very useful Medicolinks follow up after employment, with interviews/talks after two, six and 12 months, in order to help me along with different aspects of the life in Denmark.
The six months of the language course in Budapest was hardworking and challenging experience but hard work is the only way to learn Danish enough good to start working in Dk. Quality of teaching was very good and staff approach is very professional. The hardest period for me was the first 3 months.. after it was much easier.. and I had quite a lot opportunities for some fun and relaxation in Budapest.

I am a medical doctor.
I went through the Medicolink process of recruiting, language course and help for settlement in Denmark.
The overall process took c.a. 9 months.

Recruiting
Recruiting was fast and effective. Medicolink listened to my requirements and described the offer available. Supervision was provided before the job interviews and assistance for the travel and staying for the job interviews was given as well. Supervision was active and to the point. Assistance was professional.

Language course
Language course was 6 months long, intensive and effective. It was located in Budapest, I was given access to a nice apartment, I had not to pay for the rent, just bills. Every practical aspect of my life in the apartment was taken care of by Medicolink. Language course is from Monday to Friday, from morning to afternoon, it entails frontal lessons for small classes of international students. Teachers are Danish and non Danish. Quality of teaching is overall good. There were opportunities for cultural (Danish culture) meetings with movies and history / culture of Denmark. There was time to relax and recharge, but it was overall a challenging process for us students. Colleagues were nice and friendly, we shared a lot. One should expect a lot of homeworks. Final tests are for real, extra lessons are given on demand without charge. Students get payed in the process. The pay is consistent with life costs in Budapest. Two of us did not finish the course, that was due to personal reasons difficult to put in relation with the language course, settlement or quality of life in Budapest, in my opinion. I was able to fast adapt to the work environment in Denmark and to work with other doctors, patients and nurses in a direct and effective way. This is also thanks to the very nice people I met there. Elderly people and bureaucracy are still a kind of difficult.

Help for settlement in Denmark
Medicolink found me two apartments in Denmark. I rejected the first one, so they came to me with a new match. The location was carefully chosen. Medicolink remained available for help also after my settlement in Denmark and looked after some interviews to check how things were going.

Final remarks
I give 5 stars to Medicolink. Recruitment and language course are critical aspects, Medicolink is good when it comes to address them.
The only downfall I can think of is that Medicolink teaches Danish in Budapest. Medicolink gives the basis for Danish and something more for the professional work: it was OK for me to do this in a non Danish country. And living in Budapest for 6 months is of course a nice thing to do. Basis for Danish was good for me: after some months in Denmark I was able to face real work challenges and make my way to the kind of job I was dreaming of.
