Website is glitchy. Zero support from customer service, who are antagonistic and unhelpful. MECCA will not investigate failed deliveries or missing products. My experience with MECCA had been the worst customer experience of my life.

Got a advent calendar for my partner this Christmas, sadly one of the shadows came broken, reached out to customer service and they sent us a replacement shadow and gave us options to opt for a gift card too, I thought the customer service was amazing, was swift and friendly, and even gave us a few other samples too! Thanks again Hannah for your excellent customer service!
Poor online customer service
Overall, Mecca offers a great range of products with an impressive selection of brands. However, their online customer service experience needs improvement. I accidentally made a small typo in my address during checkout and contacted customer service immediately after placing the order to request a correction. Despite this, the team repeatedly refused to update the address, stating that no changes could be made once an order is confirmed.
This policy feels unreasonable, especially since other retailers are willing to make such adjustments after confirmation. A more flexible and customer-friendly approach would greatly enhance the online shopping experience.

I will be buying from MECCA again! I read the MECCA reviews around waiting for parcels etc and was a bit concerned as I wanted the makeup for an event on the weekend. I ordered late on the Monday and received my order by Thursday morning of the same week. I am also on the opposite side of the country and live in the bounds of the city (11 minutes from what is considered regional). Everything was smooth and easy. Don't let bad reviews put you off! It was a fast, efficient and great service :)

This is the worst setting spray, that I have ever purchased. It either sprays out like a hose is squirting you in the face, or nothing comes out. The outside of the lid gets soaked, like it is leaking.
I went to Mecca Burnside to complain, but they were not helpful. They said it was the way I sprayed it. Totally gaslit me.
Terrible product & terrible customer service. Waste of money.
I noticed on the Mecca reviews, there was another complaint, with the exact same issues. Avoid this product!
Bad customer relations
Over the years, I have bought a number of Terry, Misty Rock eye shadows from Mecca, Myer store in Sydney. The last two containers, the stick broke off in the container when it was not extended.
When I tried to extend the shadow for application, the broken stick fell off onto the floor. I did not complain the first time it happened but the fact that it has happened twice means the product is not of merchantable quality. This product is meant to be a premium brand and is not cheap. I paid $64.00 for a below standard product.
I contacted Terry ( in France) and was told to direct my enquiry to their supplier in Australia (Mecca) which I did. I paid cash and did not keep the receipts. I sent photos of the empty tubes and asked them to show goodwill and replace at least one product. But no, without proof of purchase they would not accede to my request. So mean, obviously the almighty dollar and profits come before customer satisfaction.
I will never shop at Mecca or purchase Terry cosmetics ever again.

I’ve shopped across many makeup department stores in my 40 years. I never thought an experience in a makeup store could be as amazing and uplifting as mecca was. i went into mecca Hamilton store and was served by a girl called Sammie who immediately approached me with a smile and a greeting. The store was overwhelming for me but she made everything feel easy. I just came in for a foundation and she turned it into such a fun and uplifting experience where i truly felt cared for. I really wasn’t feeling my best when i went into mecca but after a really magical experience in their i felt such a big confidence boost.

It’s a shame this company is not helpful. I received 2 shower gels completely shattered threw the mess away forgot the photo so didn’t make a fuss. Kiwis don’t you know. Next order diptique arrived with pump completely unpumpable. Asked what they wanted, mentioned previous issue and got asked for a photo. Firstly stuff was dripping all over the place soapy mess to clean up not a photo opportunity. Or video. How do I video a gel that isn’t pumping? Oh and I would hate to say how much I spend with them. I feel like in the past 2 years the prices have gotten so high from a lip stick being $30 and now $70. I have stopped shopping at mecca and will keep not going until it gets cheaper.
Disappointing experience with Mecca’s website and customer service.
I was trying to buy a last-minute birthday gift for my sister and went to Mecca’s website. My card was unexpectedly declined, so I tried another one, then contacted my bank—who confirmed there was no issue on their end. I was able to make other online purchases with the same card, which made me realise the problem was with Mecca’s system.
When I called customer service, I was told I had been flagged in their system due to using multiple cards and emails and that the only solution was to wait 48 hours. That’s not exactly helpful when you’re trying to make a time-sensitive purchase. The only reason I used multiple cards was because it didn't work the first time. I asked if there was any way to verify or resolve the issue sooner, but there were no other options offered.
Really frustrating and disappointing, especially from a major retailer that has exclusive rights to certain products. I am new to the country but already dislike MECCA.
