Excellent customer service.

I found this company and Louise in particular who dealt with me to be very prompt and helpful in dealing with my claim. Louise was very professional yet very approachable in answering any of my queries. The issue was dealt with promptly and I was kept informe at all times.

Great Service

McLarens were appointment loss adjuster for our claim. Graeme the assessor couldn’t have assisted us more through out the process. Graeme was courteous, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. A great experience.

Excellent from start to finish

McLarens was appointed by our insurers to assess a claim. From start to finish our assessor, Jazz, was extremely reliable, sympathetic and professional. Nothing was too much trouble in terms of dealing with our enquiries, whether by email or on the phone, and everything was dealt with in timely fashion. He made what made have been a very stressful experience far less painful. We would definitely recommend McLarens.

McClarens and our claim

McClarens were nominated by our insurers Zurich to deal with a tree damage claim to our footpath. Natasha was the loss adjuster who dealt with our claim. Natasha was professional, listened to our issues and concerns, kept us up to date at all times and overall provided an incredible service. Thank you McLarens and thank you Natasha.

Workplace accident

I had an accident at work involving 2 serious surgeries and time in the hospital in march 2024,the site manager lied in his statement and accident report despite all my medical records,pictures and witnesses they denied my claim and now i had to get HSE involved to have them investigate the issue so 1 year and half later im still waiting.....

Great Service - especially Karen Masters!

We utilise McClarens on a number of buildings insurance claims across the business and their service has always stood out. Claims are handled swiftly, fairly and with a lot of empathy toward the affected parties. I must say that Karen Masters has been a stand-out loss adjuster and recently provided service which exceeded every expectation. She is kind, professional and very prompt in every aspect of her role.

Our designated adjuster, Chris, was fantastic from start to finish, providing an efficient and speedy service, whilst keeping us informed at all stages. Beware of unethical and deceptive practices.

We had a deeply troubling experience with Kieran and one of his ex-colleagues. Without informing leaseholders—who are financially responsible—they proceeded to file a substantial insurance claim, approving a wildly inflated quote of 117K. 70K for replacing kitchen and bathroom (30sq m), added 30k as "contingency" + VAT
All of this was done behind closed doors, without consultation, despite us sourcing alternative professional quotes between £25K-£35K, which were conveniently dismissed.

They exploited the vulnerability of an elderly resident to justify these excessive costs, using her situation as leverage, while crucial information—such as the fact that the damaging leak remained active for months—was ignored or outright denied.

Leaseholders, who would be financially impacted for years, were deliberately kept in the dark and only found out by sheer chance. Their actions show a pattern of inflating costs, sidelining those responsible for payment, and denying accountability at every turn.

We have filed a formal complaint with the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), and the case is currently under investigation. We are also submitting details to Action Fraud and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Transparency, fairness, and honesty were entirely absent throughout. Please exercise extreme caution if dealing with these individuals.

Would give 0 stars if I could .

Friendly, knowledgeable, responsive

I have regular conversations with Ben Dickens who is a loss adjustor at McLarens, he is always on hand to assist, very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

I have spoken with several other adjustors too regarding various different claims and all are very helpful.

I can only speak for the North team at…

I can only speak for the North team at McLarens, but they truly get it when it comes to meeting client expectations. As brokers, our biggest frustration is poor claims service, as it reflects poorly on everyone involved. Often, this stems from the adjusters handling the claims.

McLarens, however, stand out as a leader in this area. Their adjusters demonstrate excellent communication skills, which perfectly complement their outstanding professionalism and strong technical expertise.
