Not adhering to contract
I purchased a new 2020 Ford Edge from Matt Bowers on May 28, 2021. The car had significant scratches all over. The salesperson, Leon, promised it would be fixed the following week. When I went to follow-up, I was told it would be a while because there were no loaner cars available. That was not the deal. Finally, through much complaining, I was offered a rental car and that Matt Bower's body should would fix the car.
I brought the car in on June 25. Finally, on 8/18/21, because the body shop was going out of business, I was told my car was mostly ready and I could get it. This almost 2 MONTHS AFTER dropping the car off!!!!
However, there were still parts that needed to be ordered.
Today is October 1, 2021, 4 MONTHS after I bought the car and it is still not fixed. I spent over $40,000 on a new car from Matt Bowers and was promised it would be fixed.
Apparently, Matt Bowers is "waiting on parts" to finish fixing the car. During Hurricane Ida, at the beginning of September, my other car sustained major body damage from flying debris. That car has already been fixed 100% from a body shop with OEM parts.
It's evident, Matt Bowers does not want to live up to their promise to fix my car. I highly advise staying as far away from Matt Bowers as possible as they will lie to you. If I had known that my $40,000 car would not be fixed and it would take so much complaining, reviews, etc. I never would have purchased from them. Stay far far away.
