When something comes out too thin, it’s usually down to part of the process rather than the mix itself, and that’s exactly why we always encourage customers to get in touch if something doesn’t seem right. You can contact us directly (including via WhatsApp) and you’re speaking to me, so we can work through what happened and get it right.
The kits are designed to be convenient and accessible, but there are a few variables in cooking that can affect the final result, and we’re always happy to help troubleshoot and make sure customers get the best out of them. Sometimes it can be as simple as leaving the curry to simmer longer (especially if its on induction) so the sauce reduces and thickens.
I’m sorry it wasn’t what you expected, but I do appreciate you giving them a try and sharing your feedback.

Amazing curry kits and spice blends. The chicken tikka is just like you would have from your local take away and better. The curry kits are easy to follow, quick taking out the hassle of making sure you have all the spices and measuring. Great customer service, Will definitely be ordering more.

Had the Tikka and the Seekh mix along with the Madras curry. Their taste was amazing and the simple step by step instructions make it very easy for the cook or the house ! Highly recommend and will be using again in the future.

Not the real deal!
I think giving a 1 is slightly harsh- it wasn't that bad- but no more than a 2 i'm afraid- sorry guys - these are not to the standard of your everyday curry houses- especially as you're from brum or within the region of - i dread to think what experiences you've had when thinking or suggesting that these are as good as the genuine authentic indian curries. I make my own and have done for years- but thought this was worth a try after the hype i was seeing- and sorry to say- i think i'll stick to my own recipe. The gravy that comes with all authentic dishes is the key- which i make- this is nowhere near the real thing- but anyone who wishes to try - don't let me put you off- you can decide yourselves.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a detailed and fair review, Carl, I do appreciate it. I’m actually from West Brom myself, so I know exactly the standard of curry houses around here and what people compare them to.
The kits are designed to be restaurant-style rather than a full scratch BIR cook, and being a dry mix there’s always going to be some limitation compared to fresh base gravies and making everything from the ground up like you do. That said, I still believe they give a similar flavour profile, while being far more convenient, affordable and accessible for people who don’t want the full prep every time.
Totally respect that they’re not for everyone, but thanks again for giving them a try and sharing your honest thoughts.

I’m not sure who does all the reviews on fb about these curries but they are not like getting food from a curry house. I’ve tried a couple different ones now and the whole lot went in the bin. I wouldn’t recommend and I won’t be purchasing again.

I am really sorry that you did not enjoy the products. I do believe they are great products and feedback like this isn't very common so we do take it very seriously. We always ask customers to get in touch with us via our channels, including WhatsApp where you speak directly with me to help understand what's gone wrong with the dish and how best to put it right moving forward. With the kits, there are other factors outside of the product that can cause the final dish to be too bitty, salty, spicy for example. We will always do our best to make sure the customer is happy with their experience.
We never delete any comments from our Facebook posts, unless the posts include sensitive customer data. We believe keeping all reviews up gives customers the transparency they deserve so they are making an informed decision if they decide to purchase. Taking a look back, we had replied to a few of your Facebook comments but we unfortunately never received replies to our knowledge.
