As a person who has lived in the uk all their life i have eaten marmite since I was a child, along with bovril drinks in the winter when we were young and I absolutely love marmite, its one of those unique british flavours that not many people understand, when I go abroad I take a small jar with me, recently went to finnish lapland and took some and my finnish friend tried and and loved it! It's now truly international..

Opened a new normal sized jar to find it was half full!
A mistake? No, the quantity stated on the label was 250 grams and that's what it was. Have they publicised this dramatic reduction? I don't think so. Did they run out of the smaller jars? Unlikely. This looks like a ploy to double the price. If anyone else has noticed this, write to them and complain.

Marmite wedges? What kind of rip off was this. Absolutely vile and inedible. Is this for real? Get trading standards in. Putrid

As stated elsewhere this company is ripping off consumers. You can buy the exact same product with a different label for a fraction of the price. Some people take brand loyalty too far. Wake up, people!

I've loved Marmite my entire life, so it's high time I left a review. Over the six decades that I've been enjoying this product (and the various other products which now carry its flavour) it's been the one product that I always have in the house. There are very few things in life that aren't improved by a liberal application of Marmite. Love, love, love this product. The chilli and XO versions are amazing as well.

I have been buying Marmite for years (I’m an old duffer of 56). This last year or so it’s been getting so thick, sticky and stringy and utterly impossible to spread and has been so annoying that I have considered giving up on it. I just opened my last jar and it spread very easily, leaving me to think maybe they’ve sorted it out after having complaints. However, it doesn’t taste as it usually does. Much less flavour. Why keep messing with the recipe cos I won’t bother buying any more and I’m sure many others will do the same. Bad business move there Marmite.

Very poor quality cashew nuts. Oven baked. Not a single full cashew in a bag of 90 gms. Looks like all cashew is waste cashews crushed together. Broken into tiny pieces. And it costs £2:50. I actually did a treasure hunt with friends for a full cashew and unfortunately no winner.

Grew up with marmite since the 70's and love it. Got into the marmite chedder bites years ago and just found out they
changed for the worst as they have a different shape and texture No
flavour they are soft and slimey and are not as strong tasting as the lovely marmite. Asda have still got the old stock round ones in so have been buying them all up and they are far superior than the new rubbish. I'm sorry I am done the new rectangular ones are disgusting shame on you!!!!!

Re the marmite bites/ sticks. I like the change to the shape. But why change the weight? And the taste doesn't seen as strong. Is It more cost cutting??

Having loved Marmite from being a toddler, I have tried every variety they have brought out. However, the Truffle is just about edible. No wonder the discount stores are selling it much cheaper. Please bring out more editions but make them delicious!

Loved Marmite for over 50 years. The the rip off price increases means I have found a great alternative.
Try Aldi Mighty yeast extract. It has a great taste and is almost half the price.
Marmite (Unilever), stop ripping us off or lose the business.

What's happened to Marmite? It just rolls around on toast or sandwich like a ball of snot with stringy hair like strands while attempting to spread.

ordered 15th December, Finally apparently shipped yesterday.
Using Yodel, which have lost it. All seems very convenient.

I order on the 4th of december. Got half my order. Look like it was kicked around a warehouse. Second part i kept getting promises of it was being sent that day and it never was. Its now christmas eve and nothing. Im now fimly a marmite hater. Ive had to ask my bank to start to recover my money. If this company wanted to improve the only thing they could do is refund the money they have taken off people and shut down.

Terrible service. Ordered over a week ago for Xmas and order still not sent. Requested cancellation and said that it’s in their small print that one cannot cancel EVEN though did not request anything personalised (just says marmite). Total lack of customer service.

I love marmite, the Xo and dynamite varieties are amazing but I have to say that the truffle variety is yuk
It tastes of old bicycle inner tubes, but having said that I admire the fact that different varieties are trialed and I support the effort to make things interesting

When you have child who a fussy eater and then you discover they like Marmite, you are one happy customer! Thank you

Please revise your website- Impossible to order- When i click the button to order, nothing happens- Been trying for more than a month now! I hope you will answer this message because until now all my messages have been ignored andI am a big fan of marmite in fact mywhole family is- Thank you for updating me.
