Fabric not fit for purpose, but Marent Crafts have refused to pay for its return
Edited to add: Marent Crafts' comment that I have "freely admitted to buying the wrong item" from them is not true; they continue to attempt to phone me, after I have asked them not to due to their staff member's rudeness; they have accused me of using bad language on the phone to their staff, which isn't true; and they have told me they are not responsible for the return postage costs, when the Consumer Rights Act 2015 makes clear that they are responsible. I could go on, but I think I've made my point. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!
I bought a 100m roll of lightweight fusible interfacing from Marent crafts as the price was comparable to other sites, and I like to have plenty on hand for my dressmaking service.
The interfacing I received is so fragile that it tears at the slightest touch. I have been unable to get it to fuse reliably with my fabric no matter what temperature iron I use, so it doesn't provide any support to my garments and continues to tear even after it's been supposedly fused into place.
Marent Crafts states on its website, We’re so convinced you’ll absolutely love our products, that we’re willing to offer a 7 day risk-free money back guarantee. If you’re not satisfied with the products for any reason you can get a refund within 7 days of making a purchase."
I have asked for a full refund, as this interfacing is simply not fit for purpose, and while they've agreed to refund me if I return the roll to them, they are not prepared to cover the cost of the return postage as they say they've not had any other complaints about this interfacing and that this is just a case of "buyer remorse"--which it is, I am now remorseful that I ever bought anything from Marent Crafts!
No matter what they say, according to the Sale of Goods Act they are in the wrong and they should pay me back the money I paid for the interfacing and the postage to get it back to them. I will be taking advice on this, but for now I can only advise anyone not to buy anything from Marent Crafts, as from my experience with them they sell shoddy products and bicker when you ask for a refund. Not good at all.

The buyer has been offered a full refund, even though she has damaged the roll, on the condition that she returns it. She has refused to return it, and so we obviously cannot refund it.
This buyer has been extremely rude, threatening, and hostile. She has since tried to claim the money back from her bank, but has been refused, as she has not returned the product.
Unfortunately Trustpilot are unwilling to remove this review, and have not explained why.

Terrible seller, uses personal info from customers to challenge bad reviews
I bought something that was totally different than described, when I tried to return it, selled declined stating that I provided a false reason for my return. I challenged this and received a few obnoxious and rude emails. Days after all was done and dusted, I received a phone call from the shop, challenging the review I left. I was at work and interrupted a meeting. The issue here is that this man should have deleted my personal info as soon as the transaction finished, he obviously did not. Please avoid. This man is rude, arrogant, he does not care about providing the least decent customer service. He would be successful if he invested in good customer service, 10% of all the time and effort he invests chasing customers that leave the bad reviews he deserves. Avoid please.

My order appeared to have been stuck somewhere but contacted customer services and they couldn’t have been more helpful in sorting the problem out for me. Very pleased with the good value items. Will shop with them again
