I'm not vegan or vegetarian and wouldn't usually choose anything but meat but my lordy these pies are phenomenal. You can tell they are handmade, the flavours are unbelievable and I've tried them all. Really easy to keep and reheat with a few side orders. If you havent tried them yet make sure you do, once you receive your order in the posh looking elegant box and packaging you know you are in for a treat - and they're mega healthy as well, which is another massive bonus!

From the easy delivery to keeping the pies to obviously devouring them it's an unbelievable experience. It's also fantastic to see them available in so many retailers, pubs and massive supermarket chains - it's a brand to watch out for that's for sure!

Can't recommend anyone trying Magpye's range of pies more highly !

So so yummy and I am not even vegan! Really recommend trying these amazing pies. The steak one is my favourite and I will be ordering again very soon!

Fast and reliable service. We have been. Having these pies for quite a while now and they are delicious 😋. Our favourites are the mushroom and garlic pies , the roast dinner pies and the steak. I loved the limited edition tofu Tikka pie .. amazing 🤩

Amazing vegan pies, have made a lot of bulk orders ro our and our daughters house and have never been dissapointed. The deliver is mae by DPD and again never had any issues. Need to order again in a few days as we only have two pies in the freezer

This company is a perfect example of how to meet expectations. The selection of pies and other food is both wide and delicious and delivery prompt. I usually order the 16 pie option with Chick'n, leek and bacun my favourite taking up at least 2/3 of the order so orders are not on a regular or weekly basis - depends on what other food we make/ buy in as an occasional take-away. Ordering is always easy and the prompt delivery means you don't have to order well in advance. OK, it's a local company but even if it was based in Land's End this review would not change.

To be honest i cant believe why anyone would leave negative feedback for a product that out shines most others, my next order will be my 5th and i wont stop ordering, the pies are perfect so too is the pastry, delivery was quick and the pies arrived frozen, you cant get a better service, Ive also spoken with the company and yes customer service was the best, 10/10, keep up the good work, i'm highly impressed, Thank you.

Easy to order, great starter pack selection and excellent fast delivery, everything remained frozen and you can reuse the ice packs.
So far from my pack I have tried, lentil hot pot and chkn dinner pie. Both were very flavoursome and packed with filling. The macaroni cheez is stunning, lovely savoury flavour.
I can’t wait to try the rest and will be ordering again.

I’ve never been into pies because shortcrust pastry may as well be a plate in my opinion… BUT then Magpye came along and changed my mind!
Their fillings are fabulous, and cater for both the veg only and the faux meat tastes, or both if you’re like me.
The pastry however is incredible, words I never thought would come from me! Buttery without the butter, firm with good bite without being tough.

They’re also friendly, human and responsive when you get in touch with questions which is just another bonus!

I cannot find the words to explain just how much I love Magpye! I’ve tried vegan pies from various brands and most fall short of my expectations. When I decided to give Magpye a try, I was shocked by how amazing they were. I’ve tried quite a few flavors and they’ve all tasted incredible.

On top of that, the sides are just as delicious. The potato dauphinoise has become a freezer staple for me! I also found the mac and cheese to be delightful. I highly recommend giving Magpye a try!

These pies are among the best vegan options out there. The pastry is absolutely amazing and there is a range of delicious fillings. Service is excellent and fast and there are often good offers available. If you enjoy savoury pies and are looking for a great vegan option I would highly recommend Magpye!

Amazing and delicious vegan, sustainable + ethical pies with quality fillings and the best plant based pastry I’ve ever tried. Never had a bad experience with magpye, customer service is always above and beyond and the pies speak for themselves. 100% recommend !

They delete and block you on social media’s if you say anything negative I didn’t like them and didn’t try the rest when I was blocked and deleted because any issues they run away hence why all reviews on Facebook are only positive it’s a subjective thing taste yet 100% positive doesn’t take much to work out they can’t delete trust pilot though

The reply simply isn’t true where they can delete and block people that say something as simple as didn’t like the taste due to sauce watery etc they will they can’t delete this or certain reviews you won’t find one bad comment on their post as they can control it they do not welcome all feedback and will not try to resolve any issues you have I will not try you again you can’t be trusted at all

Delicious pies, proper stuffed will be ordering more for sure!

Delicious Vegan Treat
I rarely eat prepared food, as I am cautious about eating anything non vegan.
I decided to give Magpye a try as there are just times when you want to put something in the oven without all the preparation.
Pies look as described and same as pictures.
Pastry melts in your mouth.
Filling is plentiful and Delicious. My new Vegan Treat!

Unfortunately the customer service is very poor. Having had issues with DPD just leaving my order on my doorstep (which is on the street so not ‘safe’) which was stolen by the time I returned home I contacted Chris at Magpye to inform him and my email was ignored and I had to send my email three times before getting a response. Chris informed me that basically ‘tough’ and to contact DPD. My contract upon ordering with Magpye is with Magpye NOT DPD and having already complained to DPD they informed me to contact Magpye. Legally under section 29 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 it is the responsibility of the trader (ie Magpye) to ensure the goods are delivered physically to the consumer.

I have doorbell footage of DPD just ringing the doorbell and walking away without waiting to get a response. I had waiting in all day for my order and at 5.30pm my order status hadn’t updated from the day before which concerned me as the pies had left Newcastle 24 hours earlier and I was certain they wouldn’t have been frozen still given the warm weather. But I’ll never know now!

So although the pies I have tried with my first order (which was also plagued with issues and I thought I’d give the company another go!) were nice, they are very expensive and even more so if you pay over £50 for nothing.

Traders need to understand their legal responsibilities when using third parties to fulfil their orders and unfortunately this company blatantly disregards the law and doesn’t care about the customers. I’ve had to resort to doing a charge back with my bank but I shouldn’t have to do this.

So the moral of the story - the pies might be nice albeit expensive but you may never receive your order and the company will not uphold their responsibilities.

Ordered a couple of pies and the vegan mac and cheese on Thursday, my order arrived promptly on the Friday.
We had a mac and cheese with pancetta for tea, it was amazing, the best vegan mac and cheese I have ever had. Can't wait to try the others and the pies, I think I'm going to be a regular customer.

These are delicious, the pastry amazing! We don’t like imitation meat products so our favourite are the lentil and vegetable hotpot pies and the mushroom. Just ordered more, including the mushroom bourguignon. They arrive exceedingly well packaged and frozen solid, ready for the freezer. As I cook all our meals from fresh, it is wonderful to have these in the freezer for emergency meals when I can just steam vegetables and serve up.

Discovered Magpye with their range of vegan pies. I ordered the 12 pack with a variety of 4 different flavours. Well, the flavours are great. Especially love the vegan steak and Ale pies. Great value for money, delivered frozen.
