The art was great and worked for what I wanted.

I've been working with Maddox for some time now, having purchased three Hurst prints. Not only have I been able to enjoy them in my home, but they have also increased significantly in value during that time, with consistent returns of 20% or more on each of my two sales. Highly recommended long term investment where risk is minimal and reward is to enjoy on your wall

I purchased an artwork from Maddox Gallery in May 2019 (a Coco Davez original titled “Michael Caine”) following strong recommendations from their team that it was a good investment opportunity. Over six years later, the artwork remains unsold, and I have never once received a proactive update, valuation, or sales plan.

Despite the initial promises, all I have experienced is total silence. The only communication I receive is promotional: new artworks, new investment pitches. No accountability, no engagement regarding previous purchases.

Had I simply invested the same £7,000 in a global equity index like the MSCI World, I would now have over £12,000. Instead, this capital has been completely idle.

The lack of transparency and post-sale support is unacceptable. I am currently considering legal advice from leading art law firms in London and would not recommend Maddox Gallery to anyone looking for genuine art investment services.

Had a great experience dealing with Maddox. Credit primarily goes to Sam A, who was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and spent quality time helping me understand both the artists' backgrounds and the investment aspects of each piece. What impressed me most was his genuine enthusiasm for art and willingness to discuss both the advantages and potential drawbacks of art investment. The purchase process was seamless, with a well-structured acquisition framework that made everything clear and straightforward. We decided to divest our portfolio and invest in art a couple of years ago. A good friend who has a few successful art investments from Switzerland referred us to Sam at Maddox gallery who advised us and was very patient explaining the ins and out of art investments. We decided to buy a David Hockney which has already delivered some great ROI shall we decide to sell it today. We were so satisfied that we recently decided to acquire another piece, this time by emerging Indian artist Raghav Babbar. I highly recommend Sam and Maddox Gallery if you are a new or seasoned art investor to advise and obtain selected pieces of art work thanks to their extensive international network

I have had many contacts with the Maddox gallery over the last few years. Having visited and made a number of successful purchases the process and contacts have been a very positive experience. From dealing with the directors and the administrative staff directly I've always been made to feel much more than a transient customer. They have gone out of their way to understand my particular needs and interest in specific artists. They have tailored their services in a truly bespoke way. I would say it was truly a five star service.

I walked through the gallery in Berkeley Street and was greatly surprised with the artworks. I was told they had another spot in Maddox Street (hence the name of the gallery(!) so I went. You could find warhols and basquiats, original STIKs and so many hockneys as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth visiting again when back in London.
