Missing Delivery

The only reason I am giving 2 stars, rather than zero is because Kayleigh at Customer Services is great and what boxes have arrived are good quality. A week on from placing an order for next day delivery, I still don’t have a complete order and have given up hope of it arriving despite having made calls to chase it.Will not use again.
UPDATE Missing parts of delivery turned up this evening very badly packaged. My order is now complete but my experience has not been good.

Terrible experience - verbally abused by a member of staff in the car park

Visited the Clifton site to collect an order, was verbally attacked by the car park gates by a female member of staff as we were struggling to get access to the car park and was blocked in by the same females car. Really poor way to treat customers, left me feeling quite threatened and nervous to even get out of the van to pick up my order. I can’t say I would ever recommend or return here, terrible experience - all I can say is steer clear!

We understand from our Customer Care Team that they initially acknowledged receipt of your email within 24 hours but were unable to source a replacement for your damaged item immediately. Therefore, they took longer than ideal to get back to you with a resolution.

We can only apologise in this instance. We aim to resolve any customer service requests within 48 hours / 2 working days, if not sooner.

We understand that our Customer Care Team has since confirmed a replacement will be delivered next week. We hope this meets with your satisfaction.

Very poor delivery and after-sales service.

It's a shame.

Since I moved, they've been sending packages to my old address; they have no way of managing it properly.
Wrong shipments—I recently received items I didn't order.
Shipments with missing items.
Shipments with the wrong address.

Every time I place an order with them, I get nervous.
I've spoken with my business partner, and we're going to end our business relationship with MacFarlane. We'll look for an alternative.

Great Support

Friendly, professional staff who are willing to assist their customers whether the matter is big or small. Communication is excellent and answers are quick. All round, from our amazing sales Rep (Jen) to Dawn and the drivers we have always received A+ service!

Amazing Customer care

A product I had ordered was currently out of stock, Samantha kindly emailed me as soon as this became apparent, she made sure to offer alternative products of similar status to me which may I add were slightly dearer but proceeded to not charge the extra amount because of the stock outage, Brilliant service and customer care

Usually have some sort of issue

Usually have some sort of issue, whether it be late delivery or wrong items sent. Always gets sorted without issue but it does happen quite often, and late delivery does often require me to contact them, instead of them contacting me to let me know.

Not owning up to their misakes

I emailed Macfarlane Packaging with details of the boxes I needed, but instead of confirming properly, they sent me a quote full of their own product codes and jargon that didn’t mean much to me. Even though they clearly knew the boxes looked different from the ones I had requested, they went ahead and sent the wrong items anyway. To make matters worse, they are refusing to give me a refund for their mistake. Very poor communication, unhelpful service, and a frustrating experience overall. I expected a reliable supplier, but this experience has been nothing but disappointment. I won’t be using them again and would not recommend them.
