MacDonald & Son Butchers Bewertungen

A really great experience from ordering to quality of produce. I will start with only moan and that is nothing to do with McDonald and sons. The courier service dpd is diabolical I am hoping it’s more to do with the inept driver rather than the courier company. The food was top quality of particular note was the larne sausage and tatie scones. We have ordered our second box already and so look forward to its arrival.

All excellent quality well packed and enjoyed by both of us

This company just seems incapable of packing meat properly so that it arrives at the right temperature. I have had packages from other butchers which have taken longer to arrive but the ice packs are still frozen and the meat cold. Not so here, I have complained direct, had replacement orders but, while some are still acceptably cold, I have never had an order that truly fulfilled health criteria. I will not order again having just fed my dogs best sirloin steak yet again. Maybe some properly insulated, sealed bags would help. Lovely man on the phone but his packing department leaves a lot to be desired. Would have been 1 star if not for the telephone manner. Sorry.

Ohh the Lorne sausage are amazing. i will always go back for more.

amazing guys.

Excellent food fast delivery well packaged.

Absolutely delicious food. i’m scottish but live in england. I forgot how much i missed Lorne sausage and oh my goodness the steak pies! What can i say, the meat just melted in my mouth!

Hi guys thankyou so so much for my delivery i was like a wee girl in a candy shop 😋. Can't find any proper food in England such a shame as where i live there is a part that's called mini Scotland. Can I just say it would be great if you had an option to build your own box with different items at a set price and if you ever want to expand to Doncaster i would happily run it for you 😁😁😁. Well done on my delivery and the wee message on the box was an added welcome gesture definitely 5 stars 🌟

Just received my first order and i'm sure it's not going to be my last! If everything tastes as good as it looks, and i'm sure it will, i'm in for a real treat. Ordering could'nt be easier. Well packed and boxed with ice packs for delivery. Arrived still cold. Considering how hot it is at the moment i think that's brilliant! I live on my own so being able to make a purchase like this is great. I can stock freezer ready for winter months when going out is tricky. I highly recommend MacDonald & Son. (Pat)

Everything is so easy to order and the prices are excellent!
All food items are excellent quality and full of flavour!
Delivery is not only fast and reliable but the food in the box is cold with plenty of cooling packets in there! Outstanding products! Outstanding prices! Outstanding service!

Placed my first order recently as I was craving some fruit pudding, ended up ordering a few other items also and so glad I did. Everything arrived well packaged and chilled.
The blaggis pies were BEAUTIFUL! Fruit pudding was top quality & full of flavour.

I am currently on the website prepping for my next order, can’t wait to give some of your other items a try!

Just had my second delivery of all our favourite foods & again I ordered during the heatwave, was worried the first time with the heat & it being delivered to London, but the box was still so cold with ice packs & meat was perfect! Again today it arrived and stone cold again. Thank you brilliant service.

The food i purchased was top class and will be ordering again.

Superb quality produce with extremely helpful customer service. Looking forward to placing another order with this excellent company.

@macdonaldandson absolutely delicious high quality meat. I’ve waited so long for a Scottish steak pie dinner. Living in London this makes it almost impossible. Cannot wait for my next food parcel order. Thank you very much 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👌

Wow! AMAZING!
A great selection from Scottish tatties to short breads, steak sausages, lorne sausages, black pudding, white pudding, scotch pies, macaroni pies snowballs, caramel tipping & a few more item.
Definitely buying again!

Great price

Had our first delvery and will definitely be ordering again. The steak & ale pies & Scotch pies were fantastic. Beefburgers in well fired rolls were a very tasty treat. Everything was very tasty. With superb customer service too.

EXCELLENT!
Food is so good. Pies, meat/fruit, best I've ever had.
Packed really well.
Sent fast.
Everything perfect, can't recommend enough.
My Dad 94 from Scotland, looks forward to his parcel sent down to England every couple of months. Had we found this shop when he was younger our orders would have been a lot bigger & more often, but at his age now, he hasn't the same appetite, Thank you so much!

I contacted MacDonalds twice, once for a minor issue and once to report incorrect items in an order. I still hadn't heard back from them.

After this review I had a call from MacDonalds and had a lovely chat with Bobby who sorted everything out.

He apologised as he said they are working on their website and the contact form seems to have broken.

Excellent, food products. Delivery and packaging fabulous. Taken me back to child hood. Highly recommend the snowballs (I couldn't resist them)
Black pudding is so tasty and without fatty lumps. Each and every item is of great quality and fresh, sealed in vacuum packs. .
Price is what you expect for real quality produce..will definitely be ordering again. Especially now my son knows about the delivery🍽️😂

Excellent service ordered my mam some items as a little treat, she misses from Scotland, as she is no longer able to get back, and they delivered to England she was over really overwhelmed and so happy with the order
Will definitely be ordering again
