I ordered my son a black wall light online, i must admit i wasn't aware it was coming from China, but maybe that was my fault, i chased delivery date with customer service, and on both occasions they responded, apologizing for the delay, but explained it was on its way....ordered on the 11th and arrived on the 24th - just in time for my sons xmas gift......i fitted the wall light, and it looks very good, the build quality looks very good also - i must admit after reading some reviews i thought i had been scammed - but on reflection im very pleased with the service and product. - hence i thought it important to leave a positive review

After receiving my order, I am now shocked but not surprised to see how many reviews describe exactly the same experience.

I paid £105 for a cloud light for my baby’s room. What arrived was appallingly poor quality — flimsy, misshapen, and nothing like the images used to advertise the product. It looked more like a battered paper-mâché craft project than a nursery light. It is completely unsuitable for a baby’s room and nowhere near worth the price charged.

After reading other reviews, it is clear this company routinely:

Advertises high-quality products using misleading images

Sends out extremely low-quality items that do not match the description

Then attempts to avoid full refunds by offering 30% back or forcing customers to pay excessive return costs

This appears to be a systematic business practice, not an isolated incident.

I have requested a full refund and a free returns label, as I should not be out of pocket for an item that is clearly misrepresented. If this is not resolved promptly, I will be escalating the matter with my bank.

I would strongly urge anyone considering ordering to read the reviews carefully before spending their money.

A complete con. This company suggest they are selling high quality items from the Netherlands. Instead they ship cheap low quality items direct from China which do not meet the description on their website. When you contact them for a refund they tell you you have to cover the postage back to china, or you can keep the item and they will refund 30% of the cost of the item. I would strongly suggest avoiding the company and if you have made the mistake of ordering from them instigate a chargeback process with your bank ASAP.

Do not buy from this company- it is a scam. They advertise products using photos from reputable companies and then send something completely different. When you contact them to ask for a refund, they make it near on impossible, offering 30% of the price back and you keep the item they have sent (which in my case was a flimsy plastic star worth under £1). I have contacted my bank, who have been very helpful and taken the dispute on on my behalf, and would advise others to do the same so that the company can be shut down.

I ordered a wall lamp and thought it took a bit long because of the holidays, but I'm really happy with it. It's a super nice addition to my living room.

I wish I had read the reviews here first. I ordered two bathroom lights on the 19th November and two weeks later hadn't received them. I chased by email and they said they were no longer in stock and offered a different light which showed if was coming from CHINA not the Netherlands like the website stated. I said I didn't want the alternative and I wanted a full refund. I chased a further 4 times and they keep ignoring my request for the refund and saying that they are trying to get an update on the goods being delivered. I suspect they want to deliver them and then refuse a refund. So annoyed that people are able to get away with this and have reported them to the NCSC online.

Do not order anything from this company, they send you a cheaper item, that doesn’t even resemble what you have ordered and then expect you to pay shipping charges to return the item to China!

They try all types of tactics to try and get you to keep the item,

Same as commenters below, this website is running a scam, sending customers the wrong product on purpose then refusing to honour their own returns policy to browbeat you into letting them keep your money. I have had to contact my bank to help me resolve this, and I advise others impacted to do the same.

Please avoid and do not make my mistake!
Items are sent from China not Netherlands or UK, received completely incorrect item - both items are no longer even listed on the website. Communication has been very poor and have only offered 50% refund to keep the incorrect item, if I wish to get a full refund I need to send back the incorrect item at my own cost to China, despite what their website refund and returns policy claim.

Ordered a handmade glass and brass Christmas tree topper , took nearly 2 weeks to arrive and I’ve been sent a cheap plastic gold star nothing like what I ordered and now not replying to emails asking for refund

I ordered a coat stand and it took forever to arrive. When it arrived it was damaged. Although the company says it's in the Netherlands the item came from China. The policy clearly states that damaged goods will be replaced or a refund given. Lumin-lights are denying my refund and say I have to pay for returning it. No I don't. The consumer rights act says I am entitled to a full refund as the item is damaged. I'm still in dispute with them and wiil be taking this further if they don't refund me. Do not order from this company. Luckily consumers are protected by the consumer rights act. I have sent them photos of their own policy stating that I am entitled to a refund. Very poor customer service and very slow to reply to emails.

I enquired about two ceiling light pendants (Lumin Nord, white 60cm) on 6th November from Lumin-Lights.com who have contact details in The Netherlands - confirmed they are in stock and delivery in 7-10 days. I was assured returns would be 'OK' and would be handled if/when that is needed. No bulb type mentioned in the info - enquired again E27 OK. Each time customer service is very slow, no answer to their phone. I ordered the lights and was sent a tracking number - FROM CHINA! So buyers beware - this company professes to have a Netherlands address for the 'Scandi' light look but in reality they send products from China with the inevitable wait. It's very frustrating.
