Although rather expensive, we had our 20+ years solar panels serviced and the engineer was first class. We would certainly recommend them. We also had a fuseboard fitted.

L&R have provided competitive quotes for 2 battery installations and an ev charging point.
The installation teams have arrived near the time quoted and performed a satisfactory installation.
L&R will be my first port of call should I need anything else in respect of renewables

A very professional job from L&R Renewables. The bird guard around the solar panels has certainly kept the pigeons from building nests underneath them.

Signed up for ten years then checked with companies house and found they had only been in existence a couple of years. Decided to invoke the 14-day cooling-off period for a full refund. More hard sell to persuade me to change my mind. Eventually got my money (£3500) back after four chasing-ups. It took a month.
We have a Sigenergy solar system which simply does not need ‘servicing’.

Been with this company for a few years and very impressed with them. From contact to arranging appointments. They have now fitted a new inverter and two batteries all at competitive prices. The staff have been great professional and prompt. Would have no problem in recommending them.

First class service from start to finish, Due to weather and other work being carried out, the install could not be completed on the first day so a second visit was arranged without hesitation, polite, courteous and left working area spotless. System working well lots of flexibility via the app, very happy, Happy to recommend.

Excellent service, Luke was understanding of our needs and available for any follow up questions. They keep in touch and visited after fitting to check to ensure the system works efficiently.

Ok got refund

Initial sales call arrived 38 minutes late, said he had no signal!! So no signal for 38 minutes between his last calm and my house??’ Then was rude when I hadn’t waited in for him . I will not be following this up. Basic manners apply and seemingly ‘this company has none

Avoid. Harassed my elderly mother onto getting unnecessary maintenance contract for 15 year old solar power system, then pressured her to get unnecessary work done, even asking her if she had a power of attorney!,, which says everything you need to know about their intentions. Purdued a refund , they sent emails promising a refund but yo this date nothing , that was months ago, AVOID.....Avoid ...avoid.

I decided to purchase their 10-year maintenance plan.Together with 2 storage batteries. The maintenance plan gives great peace of mind. It covers the solar panels, inverter and batteries for both parts and labour for 10 years, and also includes an annual clean and inspection.

The team were friendly, professional and easy to deal with, and I was impressed with the level of service throughout. It’s reassuring knowing the system will be properly looked after for the next 10 years. I’d happily recommend L & R Renewables.

I needed to reset my password to access the Growatt website, but was unable to do so via email, so had to ask LR to do it for me. this was accomplished within minutes. easy if you can speak to the right person.
LR renewables appear to be very busy and it is not always possible to contact anyone who can help with an issue.

Very good service

Really happy with the service from L & R Renewables. We’d been having problems with birds getting under the solar panels, which was becoming a real nuisance, so we had bird mesh fitted to stop them getting underneath.

The team were friendly, helpful and easy to deal with from the start. They explained what they were doing, got on with the job without any fuss and left everything neat and tidy afterwards.

The bird mesh looks really discreet and, most importantly, has sorted the problem. Really pleased with the whole experience and would happily recommend L & R Renewables.
