I have contacted your company about purchasing kippers, I asked you for contact number or to contact me on the phone number I sent you in a message. YOU have not even got the decency to reply. I usd to purchase a lot of stuff from love what you eat. You have probably been taken over by a company who does not care about people just big firms

Had problems with ordering over discount but sorted quickly- problem with missing items in delivery but again rectified quickly.Had no problem contacting company via email- but impossible to reach by phone.Products seem to be good quality so far.Company dealt with the problems very quickly and to my satisfaction.

Great quality fish, rubbish customer service

We have used love what you eat several times now. Despite what it states on the website that you will be notified of a 2 hour delivery slot this has never happened. Fortunately we have been in as could choose the day/date.
I placed an order on 29th April for delivery on 7th May. The day came no time given no delivery either. Waited until after lunch on 8th still no delivery and rang them. Our order hadn't even been dispatched. They said they would sort it. The order arrived the next morning with a note saying one item wasn't available we would ve refunded. I emailed this week as no we haven't had the refund.
I can't fault the quality of the fish we have ordered, however delivery process is rubbish. Why state a day if it doesn't happen and certainly no time given.

We completely understand your frustration. Our website does state that a 2-hour delivery window will be provided, and it’s unacceptable that this hasn’t happened consistently. We’re currently reviewing our processes with our delivery partner to ensure these notifications are sent as promised.

Regarding your order placed on 29th April for delivery on 7th May, we sincerely apologise for the delay and lack of communication. It should never have taken a phone call from you to realise the order hadn’t been dispatched, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience caused.

You also mentioned that a refund for the unavailable item has not yet been received. We’re currently looking into this and will ensure it is processed promptly. In addition, we’ll be contacting you separately via email with a gesture of goodwill to apologise for the experience and inconvenience.

We’re delighted to hear that you’ve enjoyed the quality of the fish, and we appreciate your kind words in that regard. That said, we know great products need to be backed up with equally great service. We are taking steps to improve our delivery communication and reliability so experiences like yours don’t happen again.

All’s well that ends well!

My order was a turkey crown for a family Easter Sunday lunch, to be delivered on Good Friday. At very short notice LWYE’s courier changed the delivery date to Easter Saturday. I cancelled my plans for that day to wait in for the delivery. The order arrived after over 45 hours in transit, thoroughly defrosted and unsafe to eat.

I was very frustrated and disappointed but LWYE took full responsibility, gave an immediate refund and arranged a replacement order, considerably more expensive, free of charge to me, for a substitute family lunch

I have given 5 stars to LWRE even though the actual order concerned was a disaster (mainly caused by their courier).

Their immediate acceptance of responsibility, extremely positive helpful response and genuine concern was exceptional. How things are dealt with when they don’t go to plan is what really counts!

The kippers ate lush

The kippers thought small are very tasty.
They have been filleted but still have quite a lot of bones in them. A nob of butter in the pack at time of freezing would be helpful
Most enjoyable product I have one most days.

Customer Relations were all positive!

There were issues with the courier but this was put right in a professional, amicable, and customer focussed way..
