Really friendly and approachable bunch of guys. Clear communication via email prior to the event and excellent organisation and information cascaded upon arrival. Would 100% use again and would highly recommend to any cycling enthusiast, well worth the money

Kevin and his team were great. Friendly, provided good advice and basically just delivered on what they said they would which is a rarity nowadays.

Reactivity, availibility and professionnalism for etape du tour 2022 and 2023

Compared to other companies they just offer very little for the etape, and their packages from an accommodation location perspective (wrong town for the start) were worse than others - it felt as though the other providers had picked up the best hotels in the right towns for the start and finish, and Lovelo grabbed whatever was left.
Essentially they just provided the place in the event, accommodation and transfers, which could have been done very easily independently. The guys were nice, but a lot of other suppliers provide more detailed briefing, much needed on-course support and mechanics. When things did go wrong before the event they were unable to provide much help.
I guess there is good reason why they have places available when others sell out. They need to do better.

The team were fantastic. We were incredibly well looked after and the event went off flawlessly - they even arranged good weather!

Recently returned from a trip to the Italian Dolomites for the Maratona event. From my first approach to Love Velo the communication was excellent and faultless. The guys were waiting for us at the airport arrivals gate and took us to meet other riders waiting for the transfer coach. The ride on the Friday was an excellent choice and a good chance to meet other riders and have a coffee and some Strudel!
On the day of the event the guys from LV were there to collect any unwanted clothing after the early start and there to offer drink, food and motivation after the Sella Ronda part of the course.
All in all a worthy 5 / 5 for the guys. I would definitely use LV for a future trip and for anyone thinking of doing the Maratona........ go for it! You wont regret it!

From initial enquiry to arriving back in the UK Love Velo provided a friendly, informed and professional service.
My friend and I completed the Maratona and with Love Velo looking after the logistics and admin it left us to focus on turning the pedals and enjoying the ride - couldn't fault my experience and I'll be booking a trip agian in the future!

I used Love Velo for the first time this year for our Cycling Club trip to Bormio (Stelvio/Gavia/Mortirolo). I normally arrange things myself but with 14 people I decided to go with a company. Love Velo were very helpful and responsive to questions and changes. The hotel was excellent for cyclists and the bikes good quality (Trek Emonda). Dedicated transfers to/from the airport made the trip complete. Great work Love Velo!

I organised a trip for a party of five. The flight out was delayed but our transfer was waiting for us.
The hotel was perfectly set up for cycling with the half board option ideal. The food was varied and plentiful.
The cycling terrain was excellent but in my opinion too hot. Most days were over 30C.
In future we’ll travel in April and October.
The transfer on the return was also early.
To be honest can’t fault the service provided by Love Velo. 👌

Booked a cycling trip to Italy through Love Velo. Our flight was cancelled on arrival at the airport at 0500hrs and Love Velo were contacted straight away for their help. They replied 30mins before the office closed at the end of the day demanding a large payment be made due to the coach having to be wait in Italy due to our 16hr delay.

The coach company then sent their owner to our hotel to further demand money be paid for the fact they waited so long for us to arrive. Love Velo offered zero help or assistance with this and clearly had no contingency in place for if a flight is delayed or cancelled (because that never happens does it.....).

The routes they provided were no different to anything you could create yourself or just go to any bike shop in Bormio and they have all of the routes and extra available for you. Plus the staff there are actually very helpful.... Unlike Love Velo.

All this company did was book a very expensive taxi company that will extort it's customers and they just about managed to book a decent hotel but having spoke to the staff at the hotel offered us a better rate to book direct with them for a return next year. Oh, I shouldn't forget they managed to copy and paste some route files too.

Do not use this company. Book everything yourself and enjoy a much simpler, cheaper holiday and should anything go wrong you can depend on yourself unlike Love Velo.

Not sure what all these extras are that have been referred to . We paid a fixed price and arranged our own flight . All went incredibly smoothly for the second year. Hotel Cabot was good and functional , suited our needs perfectly, bike were very high quality and agent was great ,already planning again for next year . No hidden extras.

Solo holidays take meticulous planning. When I saw the self-guided tour along the Canal du Midi, I knew this was the adventure for me. The luggage transfers and bike hire made everything so much simpler.
The service from Love Velo was excellent at every point in the trip. From arranging an extra night's stay in Sete as part of the package to fit in with my flights, to offering advice on which essential bike kit I would need to take.
The digital maps are superb. You can see each day's route on a real-time dynamic map that shows your precise location, so no need to worry about getting lost. At the touch of a screen, you can switch to GPS navigation that takes you straight to a point of interest, or your next hotel.
The hotels were all very different, but each one was a pleasure to stay in with secure bike parking and a superb breakfast. One even had a swimming pool!
When I did have a small problem at the first hotel (who insisted on charging me when I checked in), this was sorted immediately. Within ten minutes of me emailing James at Love Velo, the hotel manager knocked on my room door and presented me with a refund. This gave me supreme confidence that I was in safe hands for the rest of the trip.
I really cannot recommend this company highly enough. The Canal du Midi tour represented excellent value, the scenery and sense of freedom was superb and my bike was brilliant. And I have to say, when I got that first glimpse of the Mediterranean after 265km cycling, I had a huge lump in my throat. What an achievement. A five star go solo experience.

There is a couple of things that I didn’t feel Love velo handled fairly and properly. Firstly the extra payment of £25 per person to allow us to keep our money “safe” and allow us to transfer it to a different event . Even though it was originally cancelled due to Covid in 2020.
Also the extra costs of everything had risen but what was hard to swallow was the extra costs of the 312 entry even though we’d already paid to enter!
The hotel was absolutely fine , food and drink were great and they even opened the restaurant early on the day of the event which was very well received.
The Event was great in some ways and a nightmare in others but that isn’t Love Velos fault.

Recently booked a weekend trip to Majorca with Love Velo. Really can’t fault them - took time to understand our requirements and cycling ability (one in the party cycles very infrequently) and propose some options to me. Always quick to respond to any questions that I had. The hotel they recommended was lovely and well situated for the various bike routes; transfers were haste free; bike hire excellent (good bikes and service); great routes. Will definitely use again and happily recommend to others

Was fine, hotel nice and rooms good, but Can Picafort is pretty isolated, some 6-7km from the start line (not what you want just before a long cycle race!) and where everything is taking place.

I joined the Love Velo team for Majorca 312. Great experience, superb hotel and great support from the team on the ground.
