This is a con company

This is a con company. They have a huge lead on their delivery dates with huge delivery charge. I ordered on 28th Dec. They notified a delivery date to me on 4th Jan as 12th Jan. I arranged builder based on their confirmed delivery date. Just 1 day before the delivery they just said that there is a delay and will notify future delivery date. They have no phone number to communicate. Their chat transcript doesn't respond. The builder went on asking for delivery dates. I couldn't provide anything as they did not provide any dates. The builder went for another job. They suddenly came back on 17th Jan that they will deliver in two days. The builder went into different job and only came last week to finish the work. I now have items which needs to be returned, as I do not need of them. They just refuse to take return, although the delay is caused because of their misinformation and miscommunication

At Love Skirting, we close over the Christmas period for two weeks. As your order placed during this period, we provided you with a delivery date as soon as we had reopened. Your order was scheduled for delivery on Thursday 12th January. Sometimes, we experience delays that unfortunately are out of our control, and we will always notify the customer at the earliest opportunity.

We hope that you can appreciate and understand, that after coming back after our closed period over Christmas, we had a lot of orders and customer enquiries to process. We provided you with a new delivery date at our earliest opportunity, which was still within our stated lead time.

You then contacted our Sales Team over a month after your goods had been received, to ask if you could return some of these. As stated on our website, any returns need to be made within 14 days from receipt of the goods. Therefore, we explained that we would not be able to accept these back. Terrible service

Terrible service, 4 weeks for scheduled delivery and then on. the day of delivery cancelled it. Now I have been told that it's with production team . How ridiculous

The current lead time on all orders is 3-18 working days, excluding weekends and bank holidays. You placed an order with us on 18th January and delivery for this was scheduled for 1st February. This date is 10 working days from the date your order was placed.

Whilst we always try to adhere to our current lead time, unfortunately we do sometimes experience delays that are out of our control. We do appreciate the frustration of this, however we immediately rescheduled your delivery to a new date of 3rd February.

We have tracked your order on our couriers site and can see that this was successfully delivered and signed for on this date, which is still within our current lead time.

We are extremely sorry to hear that you are not happy with the service that has been provided, however, we really do hope to receive your custom in the future.

Shocking communications and customer services

Love skirting was one of the few companies that offered oak skirting boards that were 15mm by 95mm but when I selected the dimensions the webpage showed 20mm. I tried to phone them on 3 different numbers but they were always "engaged". I tried to chat (no online chat) and to email them all to no avail. Then I read the reviews and as a result I took my custom elsewhere. This am LS did send me an email saying someone would contact me but its somewhat academic. LS are shooting themselves in the foot due to very poor communications and customer services

At Love Skirting we pride ourselves in offering a wide range of different products in a variety of timbers and finishes. We have an extensive range of different sizes to suit all of our customers needs. Our Skirting boards are predominantly supplied in a thickness of 20mm, however, we do have a select few that can be supplied in smaller thicknesses. This is due to the profile that they come in.

When you contacted our Sales Team to provide them with the specifications you required, a member of our team advised you that the profile you wanted could only be supplied in a thickness of 20mm and provided you with the link to our website for this product.

Unfortunately, our phone lines are temporarily unavailable and we are kindly asking all customers to contact us by email in the meantime. If you are still interested in purchasing any of our products, please do not hesitate to contact our Sales Team again and we will more than happy to suggest alternative products that can be supplied with a 15mm thickness.

The ordering process was easy

The ordering process was easy, however we paid for quick delivery and received an email afterwards stating that it will be delivered in 3 - 18 working days. We needed this item asap and hadn't heard whether the item had been dispatched 4 days later. We chased and stated we need this ASAP and they were helpful and sent the item and received within a few days. The only annoying thing is they provide a phone line but it does not connect.

Restock of 1 piece of wood 30% reduction on refund

After ordering the wrong size was told that returns were to be paid by myself and a 30% reduction for restocking (1 piece of wood!!!!) would be taken from my refund,despite the fact I was going to reorder the next size

Sample rip-off…

Ridiculous cost for samples which arrive a complete mess and unlabeled. What am I paying £2 a sample for, when you take cutoffs and cannot be bothered telling them apart?

Our Sample Service is to show the specification of a product, for example, the profile and finish, rather than the exact sizing. All of our profile samples are generally sent out in an Oak Unfinished timber specie and any additional timbers or finishes that are requested are sent as a separate swatch. Additionally, all swatches are labelled with a sticker of the timber and finish that it is.

Extremely slow service, poor customer service

Extremely slow service, ordered a month ago and still waiting.
Customer service non existant, email replies miss the point with no acknowledgement or apology.
Told I would receive my order yesterday, but it has only been dispatched today, with no tracking provided. All extremely frustrating, wish I had read reviews first!

We would like to sincerely apologise for the delays that occurred with the delivery of your order. Whilst we always try to adhere to our current lead time of 3-18 working days, due to the Christmas period, we unfortunately experienced some longer delays than normal.

Although an email was sent to yourself as soon as your goods had been dispatched, the courier that we use do not provide time slots for their deliveries and can deliver at any point between 8am-6pm. Therefore, no tracking information is provided by them.

As we completely understand the inconvenience caused by this, we are more than happy to provide a refund of 50% off the delivery cost paid on your order. This refund will be processed by our Accounts Team today and you should receive the funds within 5-7 days.

No delivery and can't get an answer

I ordered beading on the 22nd December. I have not received it. I contacted them yesterday (you have to email or request a call back). They emailed back and said somebody will contact me. Nobody did. I have now spent 10 minutes doing it all again. I just want my beading but instead all I get is a load of time taken up trying to sort it.

Your order was placed on 22nd December 2022, which unfortunately missed the cut off date for delivery before Christmas. Love Skirting is closed for a two week period over Christmas and as a result of this, your order was actually still delivered within our current lead time of 3-18 working days, excluding weekends and bank holidays.

You contacted our Sales Team on 9th January 2023 to query the progress of your order and a member of our Sales Team responded to advise it was being looked into and we would provide you with an update shortly. An automated email was then sent to yourself from our system on 10th January 2023 to confirm when your order will be delivered.

As you did not receive this email, we investigated this for you and noticed that the email you entered at the time of placing your order was incorrect and therefore, the automated emails from our system were not reaching you. This was rectified immediately and we confirmed your order will be delivered on 12th January 2023.

After looking into this, we can see that your order did in fact arrive a day early on 11th January 2023 and we really do hope to hear that you are satisfied with the product you received.

5 months later, still nothing...

I ordered goods on the 03rd of August 2022, and as of the 3rd of January 2023, they have not dispatched my order...

They have failed to respond to my emails and phone calls.

It hard to contact them…

I tried hard to contact the company before placing an order but with no lock. They have no contact number and the chat service doesn’t work. I sent a few messages online for a call back but haven’t heard back yet.

Scam

As most of the other reviews indicate - this is a fraudulent company which has no intention of honouring orders. Phone is not answered. Emails rarely answered. Delivery came and went with no goods received. No tracking number. Have raised a chargeback to recover the funds. DO NOT USE THEM.

It has been over a month since ordering and I have not received my item. I chased on the 8th December and got a delivery date of the 15th. 15th came without have a dispatch email so i chased again and am now being ignored.

Terrible service, waste of money, avoid

Ordered two identical door trims and when they arrived one was fine, but the other was extremely bent. I then sent photos of this which they then said they needed more. I chased for a reply for them to say it will be fine so weren’t going to replace them. However the state of one of them was terrible, it would be impossible to get it back to shape without snapping it. Should have read all the bad reviews of this place. Never again waste of money
