The experience was thoroughly enjoyable as TLFS demonstrated exemplary helpfulness and thoughtfulness. Their aptitude for discerning the precise requirements and delivering accordingly was impressive. Effective communication with them played a pivotal role in the outcome, and as a result, the singer's performance was of the highest caliber, indicative of their utmost professionalism.

The service from London Funeral Singers exceeded all of my expectations. Their contribution made the funeral, an event I had been dreading, more bearable. Just before the funeral began, I bumped into one of the singers who advised me that everything was in hand, they had rehearsed and were ready to raise the roof - which they then proceeded to do.

Following the funeral, outside the church, many, many of the people who had attended commented on how beautiful the choir was, several of them were lost for words but with tears in their eyes. The most common refrain was ‘the choir was just so beautiful’.
The Ave Maria in particular had grown men crying.

Firstly, thank you for coming up with the wonderful idea of the LFS. Secondly, for Briony's patient and skilful guidance beforehand to ensure the very best choices were made regarding singers and offering reassurance about the logistics e.g. contacting the church and checking the organ and confirming that the event would go smoothly.
So, thank you again, LFS, for making this service wonderful. It was a fitting tribute to a wonderful person.

I am so grateful to "The London Funeral Singers" for helping to make my sister's funeral such a memorable occasion. The administration was competent and considerate from the very first contact. They were able to offer helpful, professional advice and understood my requirements perfectly. The musicians (Violinist; and Soloist) were simply marvellous, not only respectful and professional, but I felt that they were our personal musicians. They did not feel like professional strangers but particularly talented members of our family!

London Funeral Services came to my rescue when I needed to source singers at the last minute for my Mum’s Memorial Service. Briony scooped me up with her warmth, kindness and efficiency and within a couple of days, she had sourced me two singers and an organist.

Their performance was unbelievably good on the day – beautiful, uplifting and memorable. I shall never forget how the music and the voices deeply touched our hearts and souls.

I can highly recommend this organisation with utmost confidence. If you choose to use them, you will not have to worry about one tiny detail after you have engaged them; they take care of everything. Frankly remarkable.

From the very start LFS were a pleasure to deal with. Penny was super responsive and helpful. We requested two reasonably difficult songs to sing (Amazing Grace & Hallelujah), we were nervous about the performance. We needn't be, Penney arranged two snippets from the artist Celia and they sounded great. However on the day, oh my god, to say she blew everyone away would be to do her an injustice, she was simply magnificent. Not only could she sing, she was delightful to deal with, respectful, unassuming and sweet.

I could not recommend LFS and Celia any higher.

We wanted it to be a special service for a special person which the choir helped create, without their voices filling the church, the vibe would not have been the same, truly helped to make it a special day.

Who would have thought a service like this could exist. It’s one of those things you don’t realise you need until you need it, and the London Funeral Singers far exceeded their service at our hour of need.

We all took great comfort in listening to the 8 member choir sing beautifully at our late father’s recent memorial. The music made the service enormously special. Words can’t always express the multitude of emotions when reflecting on the loss of a loved one, but music can be a wonderful channel, and in this case the singing moved every single person in attendance. From the various harmonies you could tell that each individual voice was professionally trained, each held their own; their voices were nothing short of exquisite.

During the process of deciding and selecting which pieces would go into the service, and whether it should be sung as a solo, as an ensemble or congregation led, there was nothing but sensitive guidance and helpful advise throughout from Penny. I was grateful that Penny (one of the owners who started this service), wasn’t pushy at all, she gave us the space to make our music choices and once that was done, she took on the role of arranging and coordinating all the logistics with the Pastor and his team so it was seamless for us.

The name ‘London Funeral Singers’ is not a title that necessarily conjures up the beautiful service they provide, but it certainly helps to discover them if you are looking up “funeral services”.

Penny and the choir conducted themselves with the utmost dignity and respect for the situation. Thank you London Funeral Singers for existing and holding the bar high.
