Excellent quality, delivered by professionals with high standards

London Electrical Solutions did a fantastic job in refurbishing three electricity meter cupboards and their incoming supplies on a private housing estate.  The work involved installing 10-way consumer units and fitting new trunking and conduits and replacing the existing wiring with larger cables. Additionally, new RCDs were installed in 17 garages. The LES team worked hard in overcoming some unforeseen obstacles, whist maintaining high quality standards. I would like to thank everyone in LES for their professionalism, expertise and friendliness. We highly recommend them.

Thank you for your replies, Michael.

To clarify a few points: I did not receive the audio recording you mentioned, despite your claim that it was sent via email. In any case, a recording does not override how I experienced the conversation. My feedback reflects how I felt during our call, and listening back to a conversation I already found rude and dismissive won’t change that. The statements in my review were not false; they were an honest account of how I was treated.

As for the cooker, it was not simply “switched off on the wall” as you’ve suggested. The second engineer, who was polite and professional, discovered that something had been switched off or disconnected behind the washing machine within the kitchenette (an area that required him to remove cupboards and the appliance, climb underneath the counter, and locate the issue). This was not a matter of flipping a visible wall switch. I suggest reviewing the engineer’s report for accuracy before making incorrect public claims.

To be clear, the engineers who attended were courteous and capable. My issue lies solely with the way you, a person in a leadership role and representing this company, handled my concern. Your tone and responses during the call came across as unhelpful and dismissive. I made an effort to explain my side, but was repeatedly spoken over.

I stand by my review as a fair reflection of my experience, and I hope this serves as constructive feedback on how customer concerns are handled and how you choose to take this feedback reflects on you.

Following an engineer visit, my gas stove’s electric igniter stopped working. When I contacted the company, I was passed around before finally speaking to Michael (I’ve since discovered is the owner) who was shockingly rude, dismissive, and condescending. He spoke over me repeatedly, refused to listen, and offered no real solution beyond telling me to “just buy a lighter, simple as that” The lack of professionalism, especially from the person running the business, was unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Some good customer service and a medium level of emotional intelligence should be basic.

Regarding the email with the audio recording, everyone else has received it that was ccd in the very email that you sent originally, i only replied to your email and attached it to that very email. I can 100% appreciate how you might of felt, but your being Judgmental of someone you know nothing about and posting false accusations. Just because i like to be factual and straight to the point / honest and upfront with things that does not constitute being rude, condescending etc. It is also worth realizing that different accents come across differently to people. I know you have made assumptions about things, the way you conducted yourself as per the audio was unbecoming. I really do wish i could share it. I will do anything for any of my clients, always on the phone, always willing to help, sometimes at personal sacrifice when it comes to even spending time with my own family because i want to keep everyone happy. That being said, I am also one who will always put my hands up and take responsibility when and where genuinely needed if errors are made and do what ever is needed to fix any issues. I will never shy away from that.

I did speak to the Engineer as it was just a fused spur that was turned off in the back of a cupboard.

I am always happy to accept Constructive criticism where its due though.


Update as of 06/05/2025.

To date, I have not received any response from Melissa after providing the audio recordings from the Phone call. Which paint
a completely different picture. Its unfortunate that People will resort to using false and derogatory statements to try and achieve a particular outcome. Despite being provided with the facts, evidence and a request to remove this feedback, its still not been removed by Melissa. It also transpires that the only thing that was wrong with the Cooker was that it was switched off on the wall, Just switching it on was needed and it worked perfectly ok as it always did.

I think we should clear this all up and be absolutely factual ( as per the email sent you after reading this - where i have shared the Audio recording from our phone call too. Happy to share it online here for anyone else to listen too if i could.

The attached audio recording from our Phone call, proves that i have only been factual, to the point, told you its a temp measure re the lighter to ignite the gas cooker while we investigate the cause of the issue which is being done tomorrow and we were only on site yesterday doing all the main works too. ( can be proved again via an email from you )

I have not being shockingly rude, its actually you that was speaking over me mid statements while i was trying to explain things, then when you asked me if you could speak, i would respond and say yes of course you can but please let me finish what i was explaining. Then you stated, you can't be bothered etc a few times and then hung up. I have not been Shocking Rude, Dismissive or condescending.

I was only stating the facts from what we currently know while we put everything together to try and figure out what has gone on and how we can help you further with this issue and try to resolve it. My main priority is the electrical safety of the installation and the user of the installation safety too when they use the electrical installation.

The Phone call Audio recording will clarify it all and the emails that have been sent to address all of your questions, to which you have still not responded to the points addressed and so forth.

Promised so much but left me to resolve the issues when they supplied an inferior product.

Very disappointed with this company despite being recommended by a neighbour in my apartment block. I needed to upgrade 3 heaters in a rented apartment and was recommended Dimplex Wi-Fi compatible heaters (through LES) which I requested when Kieran came to do the estimate [the original ones were also Dimplex but old and inefficient but still a widely recognised brand]. I paid the bill in full as soon as I got the estimate (as requested) going for the Wi-Fi compatible heaters rather than the standard. When the fitter arrived I noticed they were a brand I had never heard of - Haverland. I was assured they were good quality and on the face of it they looked ok. My first mistake! The fitter installed them - a simple job, but they could not be connected to the Wi-Fi network and then could not be programmed on their integral timer. The display was tiny and being able to control these easily without a Wi-Fi connection was going to be a challenge. The only option I had was to turn them on or off manually - far from ideal. It has taken weeks to finally get these connected, partly due to the manufacturer having a poor technical back-up department and partly for the slow response from LES. I have had to do all the work on this with the manufacturer (finally) as LES all but washed their hands of the problem. I am disappointed that they did not supply what I asked for and supplied an inferior product without proper knowledge of how they work or how to connect them. I am still waiting for the minor works certification as promised in the quote (despite chasing this) and I am struggling to get an invoice from them for my payment. As far as I am concerned the work was not completed and was left with me, the customer to resolve. What frustrated me even more is when I advised them (by email) of the fact I had finally managed to resolve the problem with the manufacturer I didn’t get a response from any one of the partners in the company. Really not impressed with the service.

I won’t drag this out more than necessary but it does appear to be full of lies. I’m sure you’re upset with my poor review - sometimes suppliers/contractors don’t get it right but to make up stories to cover poor service is inexcusable and not helpful for the Trustpilot portal.

• I have checked and double checked spam for the requested paperwork - nothing there.
• The quotation includes a remittance slip - nothing is stated on this about what percentage of the quotation price should be paid but to get the heaters ordered I wrongly assumed this is what was required! This is also not stated on the email with the quote.
• My email you pasted into this review was out of sheer relief of finally getting this resolved with the manufacturer and in the hope it may help your company with my findings on the issues encountered.
• Whilst I accept many things stated about the manufacturer are in fact true, this still doesn’t explain why when I asked for Dimplex, Haverland were supplied.

Although i think that we all, including yourself must admit that this is not factually accurate or a true reflection of the actual events. We did tell you about proposed heaters that were to be fitted, we also never requested that you pay in full upfront ( we never do this with anyone ). We all know for a fact that the issue was not a fault of our own and that it was purely because we had the incorrect instructions for setting this up. We never washed our hands off anything, our emails chains can very clearly prove this, we were chasing the manufacturers every single day to get this solved for you ( as documented by the very email chain you are cc'd into ). We have also sent you the invoice with all associated documents already and asked that you check your spam emails but we have not heard back about that so we assume you have received it all. The products supplied are not inferior at all, Haverland is a UK based company and they have over 40years of electrical heating experience and they manufacture very good products. There is so many products available today, its physically impossible to know everything about every unit, everyone relies on manufacturers set up instructions for items like this at some point. We never left you with a job that was not completed as can be evidenced by emails. As you had the app on your phone and were in the property, it was just easier for the manufacturer to deal directly with you to reduce the time needed for the last bit of the set up. If you were not comfortable in doing this, you could of just said this to us and we would of popped back in for you quickly.

I am pleased to let you know that the Haverland heaters are now working at the property. I have managed to connect them through some instructions that Richard Nolan, through his research, kindly forwarded to me. He has been very helpful in finding a solution. The instructions are not the ones using the QR code on the actual installation instructions included with the heaters but are comprehensive and enabled me to add the heaters to the Haverland app.

The heaters are RCTT Connect heaters that do not require the Haverland smart box (page 42 of the QR code instruction link of the included installation manual actually stated that you do !!) They do require a 2.4 GHz connection which I did use very early on in the process of trying to connect, managing to separate the 2.4 & 5 GHz connections. The instructions were more detailed and helpful and this combined with using an iPad without a SIM card made it easier to complete the process. I am assuming turning off mobile data may do the same?

I am hoping they are now easier to connect when my tenant moves in on Tuesday and decides to use a new router !

Great service

Great service. Reliable people and well managed. The central team (led by Michael?) deals with the admin part and project manages the electricians which I appreciate. Invoice / bill is always clear and If not, explained to me. Used at least 3 times, and have always had competent, polite and nice electricians!
