I rented a mobility scooter but had to cancel due to an unexpected hospital visit. To my surprise, I was charged a £25 cancellation fee. While the service itself seems fine, I find this policy incredibly outdated and unfair. In the 21st century, businesses should be more understanding of unforeseen circumstances, especially for customers relying on mobility aids. This charge feels more like a penalty than a reasonable policy. I’d advise others to be cautious and check the fine print before booking.

We hired a wheelchair in Nov ‘24 and it was waiting for us at our hotel on arrival and collected after we finished our stay.
The advice we got over the phone was detailed and thorough and the company sent a video in advance so we could follow setting up.
This company is reliable, very reasonably priced and a pleasure to deal with.
We would recommend with confidence.

Excellent service from London Wheelchair Hire. Unlike other companies, they deliver the vehicles to private addresses with an exact delivery time, even on weekends. Everything worked perfectly. Since we had an early flight, they even picked up the scooters on Sunday morning at seven o'clock. The vehicles themselves were great; we rented two, and they are very sturdy, practical, and have a battery that easily handles long distances. Very fair price and very friendly staff. I would book there again anytime.

Myself , my husband and daughter visited London from Cornwall & unfortunately needed a wheelchair at seriously short notice. I spoke with Zoe she had one delivered outside the cafe we were in in HALF AN HOUR !!

The whole end to end experience of hiring a wheelchair was easy. It was a very stressful time when I badly broke my ankle while on holiday but it helped so much when I put in my order and received my wheelchair so quickly with a leg extension for my injured leg. I emailed to see if I could get a normal foot piece part way through the rental to replace the leg extension and it was delivered really quickly. Finally, I had arranged for drop-off of the wheelchair at the airport and this was a very smooth process. I changed the pick-up spot and this was no trouble.
The pick-up person was very nice as well. I highly recommend this company. The service via email and when calling is great. Thank you so much!!

The wheelchair was delivered within an hour of placing my request! It was a very well maintained unit and I did not have any issues in using it. The collection too was handled very well by coming in to pick it up at the said time. I had hired the wheelchair from 30th April to 5th May inclusive

After a first negative experience, they've shown a great care by replacing a wheelchair at no cost. They also made sure to get a more suitable model from the first time. Would've been 5 stars if they got it right the first time, which unfortunately resulted in my mother in law hurting her leg with the first wheelchair.

Delivered and picked up from hotel. Provided notifications as dates got closer with confirmations. Very reliable

My 96 year old mother has mobility problems. It took a while to persuade her that a trip to France by train to see an ailing family member would be safer and more comfortable by wheelchair. She was reluctant to buy her own, so a hired chair seemed a good compromise. The service was excellent: the chair was delivered to the hotel we stayed at overnight, and collected after the trip. It was new, sturdy, clean and comfortable with the added cushion. It folded to fit in taxis, and was easy to push. This was an excellent service from a friendly company, and I thought the price was very reasonable for our four day trip. We would do the same again.

I had a great expereince with the London Express Wheelchair Hire company. I rented a wheelchair for a week, it was delivery promptly to home with only two days' notice on my side (which saved the day - thank you!) and collection from home again by their driver. Five stars all round!

We previously used this company in November for our father who was participating with us at the Remembrance Parade.

This time, our father and guests were invited to attend an event at Buckingham Palace. Our father is a Korean War Veteran.

So, we knew once again who to contact to arrange a wheelchair.

Again, a seamless booking system, wheelchair dropped off at our hotel during time frame stated. It was again as expected, immaculately clean, and as described.

It served us well again and we received emails, updates, reminders of booking, drop off, pick up times throughout.

I called on the Monday on my way to London thinking I had no hope of hiring a mobility scooter. the girl on the phone could not have done any more than she did. After calling back and forward it was at the apartment before we were. Lee who delivered it was absolutely amazing. cleaned it and demonstrated how to work it. funny funny man. Great sense of humour. we arranged for pickup on the Thursday morning and he was there as I was coming down in the lift.
brilliant service and customer service was thee best. Will definitely be using them again when I'm back down. thankyou all for helping to make my visit fantastic

I gave 4stars only because of the greetings on the Wheelchair. The service overall was 100% apart from the voice.
I have a bigger wheelchair and it would have been difficult for me to go around on the train. The electric scooter made it all worthwhile. I went for a recording at ITV studio and I wish there was a way to turn the voice note down. Thank you for everything. Will definitely come back.
