We used Loftplan last year to convert our loft in to a fabulous bedroom and ensuite bathroom. What impressed me most about Loftplan is the quality of people they use. These are quality tradesmen who all take a pride in the quality of their workmanship. Not only that, they are all thoroughly nice people. All extremely friendly, polite and helpful, coming up with great ideas to make your loft conversion the best it can be.

The end product is a very impressive quality finish, and they won't just disappear off until you and Loftplan are both satisfied that everything is completed to the desired standard and quality.

Furthermore they stand true to their word with any aftercare issues. We have had a couple of bedding in issues, that you would expect on any construction project, but Loftplan have promptly sent out a team to remedy these issues.

We have recently had our loft converted into a bedroom for our eldest daughter. We are so happy with the finished loft room, all the guys that work for Loftplan have been so polite and friendly and not a problem to have around at all. I was worried it would be messy and chaotic, but actually they cleaned up at the end of the day after they’d been and did a great job too! All the work was carried out to a high standard and we have been so pleased with the works done. Big thank you to the first guys on the job Dean and Luke who were so lovely and made me feel at ease with the work being done.

Our loft conversion has created two new bedrooms and a bathroom to accommodate our growing family – I’d heard of Loftplan because they had converted a neighbour’s loft 20+ years ago! The initial visit from Alan made some suggestions to improve the architectural design I had giving us a higher ceiling and reduced impact from the new stairs on the second floor – a great start.
Everyone who worked on the project seemed supremely competent, professional, and cared about doing a good job – making suggestions based on their experience along the way with the decisions I needed to make.
To give you some idea of how it worked:
• Bob project managed the first fix – the core structure of the new loft.
• The work started with Warren and Jordan creating the Dorma and floor structure, who handed over to Grant and Dan to complete the interior structure. Along the way, Ron and colleagues installed the electrical cabling, Alan altered and created the new plumbing for the bathroom and radiators; and Jason and co sorted the roof. The last part of first fix involved the stairs going in and the plasterers giving us walls and ceilings we could paint.
• Kevin project managed the second fix – including doors, door frames, skirting, and stair railings, as well as the final electrical and plumbing. Martin did most of the carpentry and after I’d arranged tiling and flooring for the bathroom, Mark finished off.

The process of essentially constructing another floor isn’t quick, includes plenty of tea and coffee and was fascinating, and I’m so pleased with the result!

Loft plan have recently finished our loft conversion and have done an amazing job. The teams are dedicated to the build from day 1 so you have continuity and they keep you well informed at every stage of the build which is great. The guys are all super professional and respectful and take pride in what they do which makes it stress free. When we had any issue they were addressed emmediately with no fuss. All in all this is a great company so highly recommend using them and would use again.

This is the 2nd time I have used Loftplan. They make the entire process easy, the team continually check you're happy with the work and the end result is great.

We are delighted with our loft conversion, it has given us so much more space! Loftplan have been very helpful and professional throughout from the initial visit to the final stages. Took a little longer than we initially were told due to reasons beyond their control, however that’s been worth it as very pleased with the final result. We had quotes from 3 companies to do a loft conversion but went with Loft Plan as they did not need to have a "Tin Hat" and 2 of our friends had used them for their lofts - and were very hapy with the finish. We had a 5 month wait but it was worth it. The initial team were brilliant and the shell went up lightning fast to a plasterboard finish. The second and final fix was a little slower but the overall quality of the construction is great. We now have a new roof and an new room. Highly recommend.

I am very happy with Loftplan's work and my new loft. Their workforce teams were absolute outstanding, They worked very hard and conscientious. It was great to see their work finished to such a high standard. It was a pleasure to have them in the house. They always made sure that they left the house clear after themselves. As Loftplan only do lofts the whole team are experts in what needs to be done and the best way to do it.

The team listened to our needs, kept us informed, they were all professional, clean and tidy and ensured the house had the minimal disruption whilst work was carried out. In particular, thanks to Mike, Andy and Reg who were exceptional.

If there were any glitches, snagging or issues, we had a quick response, and resolution.

We paid in instalments, as each part of the project was in progress.
We spent the time at the start ensuring the specifications were right, before it was priced, so we had no extra costs.

It did take longer than we were quoted, for a variety of reasons, but it was worth the wait, to now have a beautiful extra room, which is done to a high standard of finish, which we are thrilled with.

We were really impressed with loftplan, right from the start it was easy and it was great to get the price locked in before the work started. The guys on site, particularly John & Josh doing the first fix were polite, helpful & friendly. They were tidy & made sure it was as easy as possible for us to live around the build, particularly as we had a baby halfway through! The quality of the work is excellent & it’s obvious they know what they are doing. A testament to the company is how long the guys have worked for them. Have already recommended to others & will continue to do so.

Great experience with LoftPlan, from initial design through to completion. They do nothing but lofts and it shows as the workmen we had on site knew exactly what they were doing. Loftplan project managed the whole process from obtaining planning permission to co-ordinating all the various trades – fitters, plumbers, electricians, plasterers etc, the whole process ran like a well-oiled machine. This removes a huge amount of stress from the client, as you only have to deal with one entity - Loftplan. We were a little anxious at the start about having our relatively small house turned into a building site, particularly starting just before Christmas, but we needn’t have worried. Craig and Neil, our first fitters who built the main structure, and were our first main contact were outstanding. They allayed all our concerns and did all they could to ensure that disruption was kept to a minimum. They also bent over backwards to ensure that we got the result we wanted. Their communication was excellent, regularly checking with us, and nothing was too much trouble. As a bonus not only were they consummate professionals but they were great company and we were sorry to see them leave. A great advert for the company, which has led to us recommending Loftplan to others.
Other trades that arrived were also pleasant and considerate – the scaffolders were great, as were the electricians, the plumber did a great job and so did the plasterers and second fitter. Where we did have any issues, they were handled well and without question – the primary focus of Loftplan seeming to be to ensure that we got the result we wanted and were happy with the experience. Customer service thus far has been excellent and I would highly recommend them.

From start to finish the experience of adding a loft conversion to our home was a smooth process with Loftplan, we always felt like we were in safe hands with experts in this area, all questions were answered and we were supplied with a great design from Nic, improving on our initial ideas.

Once the build started we were introduced to the amazing Nicola, who was always available to help with prompt responses throughout the process.

The build itself was managed by the supervisors Bob and Kevin who kept everything on track, the build team were all amazing, very patient, polite, helpful and extremely tidy considering the level of work undertaken. Some key team members were Mike and Callum for the first fix who transformed the structure of our house, Jake the electrician and Sam the plumber who both were happy to offer recommendations to improve the end result, finishing with Dave on the second fix, who's attention to detail brought it all together.

There were a few small issues during the build, but Loftplan didn't blink to get these resolved once highlighted, which highlights why going with a reputable company is so worthwhile.

We were very impressed with Loftplan. They were reliable and reassuring throughout the process from start to finish. The Loftplan team were capable and polite and communicated their plans and procedures clearly. From initial contact with Nic to explore what was possible, through contact with Nicola in the office planning in the scaffolders and the commencement of the first fit with Ben and Mike we felt in good hands. As the project progressed the supervisors Bob and Kevin kept us informed of the next step and were quick to respond to our questions.

We were completely confident with their attention to our security generally and especially during stormy weather and over the Christmas holiday. Ben made sure the roof and scaffolding were secure and made himself available at anytime if any problems arose.

The loft conversion progressed smoothly and quickly without being rushed. We were pleased with the quality of workmanship with mention to Ben and Mike (first fit), Shaun (carpenter), Dave (electrician) and Brian (finisher), the team of plasters and team who installed the staircase.

Any snags were resolved quickly and efficiently. We are thrilled with the finished Loft, the two rooms are beautiful light filled spaces and add greatly to our family living space.

From our initial meeting with Alan to design the space, we were always kept informed and were impressed with every individual who worked on the project. Everyone was personable and went out of their way to keep us happy. We can’t believe the space that has been created with the conversion - it’s like it’s own little apartment upstairs. We’re so glad to have done this with Loftplan, a great company, highly recommended!

The whole process from Nic’s initial visit to Mark's final touches has been great. We wanted to convert our loft but had issues with a permitted development restrictions on our estate. Loftplan gave us detailed information about the requirements and provided us with initial drawings, for free, to appeal our planning. We won on appeal and they booked us in quicker than initially expected. John and Josh, our main build team were fantastic and all the trades people after them were very respectful of our house and with our kids. The workmanship was of a proud finish and everything was described to us with a care to the detail. Any time we wanted to inspect the site we were offered up to look.

The build came in exactly at the quoted price. No hidden extras and the cost easily adds to the price of our house.

We have just completed our loft conversion with Loftplan. From original quote to completion they have been a brilliant company. The quote came in at a realistic price, rather than an optimistic one, and any changes were given plenty of notice so there were no surprises. The design and concept was very efficient and flexible based on obtaining the appropriate planning permission.
The scaffolders went above and beyond to make our lives easier practically during the build.
The materials arrived in a well organised way as each tradesperson turned up to do the next bit.
Our builders Mike and Andy were efficient, polite and tidy, communicating well with us about each stage and the impact on us in the house (this was important to us with some working from home and children/dog to think about). The rest of the team including electricians, plumber and carpenter were also very polite and took pains to minimise impact on us during the work.
We now have such a lovely new and huge space in our house which we are currently having a great time setting up.
I have no hesitation in recommending the company to anyone considering a loft conversion.

Started our project in Dec 2021, finished in May 2022 - Project was a 2 dormer 3 velux loft conversion in an end of terrace house. Perfectly happy with all the work carried out, particularly with the level of finish and quality of work. Helpful and trustworthy staff especially the initial build done by Warren & Jordan, the plasterboard & internal work by Steve and the final fitting by Shaun. We are very pleased with the quality of the work, the professionalism of all the tradespeople and administrative staff and the speed with which they were able to complete the job. They kept us well informed and prepared for the various steps of the build, and now we've got a new room in the loft space, which will make a huge difference for our family life.
