Having read about this product I tried placing an order. They claim to be a small cottage industry claiming they only produce these bags in limited production runs. So o tried ordering a couple on-line. Wow, what an experience. I was advised that as I was the 20,000 customer I would get 25% discount on the first bag and free postage. I screen shot the offer. Trying to proceed, the discount vanished and I was presented with the chance to pay full price and postage. I stopped by declining to make payment. I contacted the company and then started to check. I found a litany of complaints on-line. Poor quality of the product was the biggest issue as well as that the bags are mass produced in China. Their advertising doesn’t actually say where the bags are manufactured but says produced in the countryside as a small family cottage industry. Very misleading. Contact with the company only produced more misleading information. This company breaks the UK advertising standards and I’ll be reporting them for doing so. Avoid wasting you money.

Ordered 2 recieved quite promptly was so looking forward to these we are not big bread eaters so was throwing a lot of bread away, my expectations were high , i placed 1 uncut fresh cob in one and bread rolls in the other within that week after only five days went to use they was all mouldy mould was all over the inside the bag , i dont like to leave bad reviews but this was an expensive mistake that went into the waste bin along with contents , must say very dissapointed in the product

Not as described, buyer beware, came from China no invoice. The bag wasn’t detachable from the interior as claimed like a scam!! Doesn’t smell like beeswax and I have BEES so I certainly know what beeswax is supposed to smell like!! Doesn’t have the LOAFGUARD label as in the advertisement 😞

Firstly the bag came from CHina, second it says that the bag has an outside layer that comes off for washing this is not the bag that i was sent and thirdly the bag i was sent does not have the same images on it doesnt look the same at all. I challenged them about it and they just said yer thanks for the feedback were trying to improve that for future customers - ok what about this customer you screwed over?? I cant trust what the wax is on it probably bad for you dont buy them

My husband often goes out and buys a loaf of specialty bread when I hadn't planned on using it for anything. More often than not, it went hard. Then, Loafguard. The bread lasted for more than a week. We bought two and all bread is going in the bags from now on. Highly recommend!

The product arrived quickly and is exactly as described. It does a great job of keeping bread soft and tasty. No more moldy bread! It's the perfect size for a loaf of artisan bread - sourdough for me. :)

I've had it a couple of weeks now and I'm glad I purchased it.

I got this product almost three weeks ago, but I only started using it properly last week. Since then, I’ve been using it all the time! It’s like having fresh bread whenever I want. I didn't really expect much.I thought it was just a gadget when I ordered it but now it’s become an essential.

I have been baking my own bread for well over 25 yrs and when bringing up a family never had a problem with keeping my loaves fresh. However now I live on my own and a loaf may last me a week so its state is more important. I have been keeping my bread in a bag in the fridge which slowed the deterioration down but the bread was not great at the end of the week. These Loafguard bags are a great improvement and I can keep my bread out of the fridge allowing more room for other things. Just a final question what happens when I want to wash/clean the bag? I use stone ground organic flour from Maud Foster Mill.

It took about three weeks. I just got my bags today. I was quite concerned when I saw they were coming from China. Nowhere does it mention China or the US. It does mention a small family business a few times though. So the bag looks like it’s supposed to, but I don’t think it’s beeswax inside. It has a slightly petroleum smell so there it is again duped, effing Facebook and their effing ads. I’m going to try and send them back and see what happens very disappointed and angry.

‘Small family business’ and GB flag in the advert. Three weeks and I have still not received my order - checked tracking and it’s coming from China! Can’t comment on the product itself as I STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT

I too was duped into thinking of this as a small UK family business and was also shocked to see my order is coming from China (over 3 weeks since original order and counting). I have complained. I would never have ordered such an item had I known where it was coming from.

Please be wary of this shop. The company seems to be based in the USA not UK or Europe (even though the marketing blurb mentions ‘European’ frequently). However my package, ordered on 25th Feb, is being shipped from China according to the tracking status I received yesterday (7th March). I have not yet received my purchases (2 bread bags).

Ten days so far and no sign of the bread bag or an update on shipping status. The independent reviews of the site score it as dubious and the shipping company I've never heard of. Time to raise a case with my payment provider.
