I've always been skittish about contracting projects with services like this because it feels like a roll of the dice, so we miss out on the potential benefits of leveraging contract workers. I had been struggling with a hire for months trying various recruiters, HN hiring posts, etc, but something about the pre-vetting magic lemon does resulted in an excellent recommendation for my position for a senior backend engineer (rare as hen's teeth) and I quickly filled the position with an excellent engineer.
